I recently got 4 new tires on my car, and Discount Tire was great. The price was way better than I expected, and my car was done in less than an hour. My only complaint was that I called to make an appointment to get the tires, but when I arrived, they had no record of it. Whoever I spoke to apparently never recorded it. I've been a Discount Tire Co customer for a while and have never had a complaint. I've been to this location a few times while living around that area of town. It is a quite busy location. But when your tire has a flat and your road hazard is with them, you just don't go somewhere else. Now every time I have been here there has always been at least a 30 minute wait. No big deal I understand they don't have an army in staff. Plus one of my favorite places to eat is located right next door. Always a plus. The staff here has always been helpful with any issues, maintenance, and sorting out the details with me. They get a five star for great staffing, no complaints, and getting me back on the road! read more

Guess what I got for Valentine's? A Flat Tire!!! I'm lucky that Discount Tire is close to work. I didn't have an appointment. The guys were super nice. Checked my car out, gave me price options, explained all the points of service, in speedy time... and not like a rush to get you out kind of speedy time, just plain good efficiency. When they asked if I had been a customer before, I laughingly said yes, like 10 years ago in another state. Well, when they looked it up, they still had all the info from way back then. I have never written a negative review and am sorry to write this one, as I see from the reviews here that most customers have a great experience. Sadly mine was so bad from start to finish that I felt it needed to be noted. My front passenger tire had gone nearly flat and Discount Tire at Easton was highly recommended, especially since they patch tires for free. I drive by several construction sites on the way to work and thought perhaps I'd run over a nail. I brought my car there almost as soon as they opened on Monday morning after getting it filled with air Saturday so I could drive it. Two technicians were working the front desk. One was answering the calls coming in and checking on parts, etc, and the other waiting on customers. There was one customer ahead of me. After the technician waited on her, he worked on the computer at the counter for awhile and then went into the shop, completely ignoring me, even though he was standing right in front of me. I was not acknowledged at all. He did this several times, walking back and forth from the shop with his head down so he wouldn't have to make eye contact with me, then working on the computer right in front of me, and going back in the shop while I stood there at least 20 minutes, probably more, with no acknowledgement that I was even there or explanation as to why he wasn't waiting on me. When he finally waited on me (again with no apology or explanation), it took over an hour more before the technician who looked at the tire came out and said the tire was fine but the seal on the rim was corroded and causing air to leak out. He was very nice and friendly and I ordered a new rim. He said it would be in by Friday, which was surprising that it would take so long. He said they would call me Friday when it came in and put it on that same day. I asked about the tire losing air during that time and he said to check it every other day and put air in if needed. Friday came with no phone call so I phoned and was told it wasn't in yet. I'd already had to call AAA to come and fill the tire with air when it went flat in my driveway. The tech I spoke to Friday said he would check the tracking number and call me back in 20 or 30 minutes to let me know if possibly it might arrive Saturday. He never called me back. I called again Saturday and was told it would be in Monday. I asked what time deliveries arrive and was told between 11-1. I had to call AAA again Sunday when the tire was nearly flat again. I called Monday at 2 pm when I did not receive a call after deliveries arrived, and was simply told it wasn't in yet. No date was given on when they expected it. It had been a week since I brought the car in for the tire inspection and ordered the rim. I called Firestone Monday morning before calling Discount Tire again, to ask them how long it would take Firestone to receive the rim. 24 hours. So when the tire was still not in a week after being ordered, I cancelled the order with Discount Tire at Easton and went to Firestone. They were super busy but took me in without an appointment and within 1 hour the problem was solved. THERE WAS A NAIL IN THE TIRE! Discount Tire at Easton told me the tire was fine. They also told me nothing could be done about the corrosion. Firestone was able to rub it out. I didn't need a new rim. AAA said when they came out that with a stainless steel rim, you should be able to clean up the corrosion on the seal, but I believed what I was told by Discount Tire. So my experience was a week of anxiety driving to and from work on a tire that kept going flat, being told the tire was fine when it had a nail in it, being told I needed a new rim when I didn't, being told the new rim would be in Friday, then Saturday, then Monday and then no date at all, being told I would be called with information and not being called, having to use 2 service calls to AAA when the problem should have been easily taken care of the morning I went in A WEEK AGO, AND being totally ignored for 20 - 30 minutes when I arrived. From start to finish it was horrible customer service. I will never go back. I wish them all the luck in the world as it seems mine is not the usual experience, but what happened in my case was completely unacceptable and I won't take a chance on it being repeated. read more

These guys apparently can't read clocks or work phones. I wouldn't trust them with something as complicated as a tire. First we were told "If you don't hear from us, come back at five and it will be ready." At five we heard "Come back in twenty minutes and it will be ready." Guess what happened when we came back in twenty minutes? If you're guessing that we got an apology from our boy Zeke, you're wrong. We left at six with one new tire. read more

Discount Tire and its staff turned what could have been a very bad day into the best experience I could have considering the situation. I got home from work and my neighbor informed my I had a flat tire. I had previous received tires from Discount Tire in November, so I hoped I would be covered under warranty. When I got there they couldn't have been nicer. I showed up a half hour before close on a Monday, and the staff was extremely courteous with me. They replaced the tire for free. All I had to do was pay $15 for the warranty on the tire they replaced. They didn't give me any hassle or chastise me for driving on a flat I didn't know about. I had originally gone to Costco as I have been a Costco member for over 40 years. I received really lousy customer service. Lots of contradictory information and I had a very uncomfortable feeling but went ahead and had new tires put on. My car never drove right. My steering wheel had a mind of its own, my car pulled, didn't respond from a turn correctly and seemed to hesitate in getting started from a stop. I had a couple previous experiences with Discount Tires that were remarkably positive so I took it over to the Easton store where Mike answered all my questions and matched the tires and price from Costco. Moreover, I actually got to set up an appointment through their web site. They were very busy on Saturday morning when I arrived, but they honored my reservation and put my car in front of the line. The employees at the counter were friendly and helpful, and suggested a discount I was eligible for that I didn't even know about. Two months ago I replaced all four tires on my Chevy and had a great experience. It literally took them about 30 minutes to change my tires. Today I took in my Hyundai because it had a slow leak in One of its tires. They diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem, and ran a test to ensure the leak was no longer leaking. To my pleasant surprise, The sales associate explained to me that repairing a tire there is completely free of charge regardless of where you bought tires from. This was awesome I was expecting to pay something. The sales associates are paid hourly, therefore they are not trying to sell you anything that you don't need. My appt was at 530pm and of course traffic was terrible due to rain (it was a drizzle). I called to let them know I was running late and hoped they would not make me reschedule. Russ said if you get here by 6 we will still help you. I got in at 545pm and they had the door locked! My anxiety flared but I calmed down when the door was opened followed by an apology. My tires were put on and I was out the door by 615. Never have I been here and been done so quickly. Makes me leary like my tires will fall off (i bought a warranty!) but I am happy. They fixed my flat but when I got to the highway it started to go flat again. I called the next morning, and the managers were so nice to me and really understood my concern and took care of me immediately. Needed 5 new tires for my truck, so I checked Yelp, found this place, and off I went. I did not have an appointment, but I had errands to run in the area, so waiting would not be an issue. I entered the lobby and saw 6 people sitting in the waiting area, but no staff. I stepped up to the counter and waited for a minute, two minutes...still no staff. I walked around behind the counter, but still no staff appeared. I could see mechanics working in the garage, but no one seemed to be covering the counter and no one seemed to care that the counter wasn't covered. I stood around unbothered by staff for a few more minutes and, since it was clear that Discount Tire did not want my business, I left (at 11:40am on 2/26/2015). We were in Columbus for the weekend and on Saturday morning found we had a very low tire that needed attention. The staff at Discount Tire were more than helpful and thorough. They didn't have the tire we needed so we bought one from the dealership and took it there. They installed it with no issue and even expedited it so that we could make it to our son's soccer game. Ben was fantastic! I bought the warranties for my original tires about a year and a half ago, one tire went bad a few months ago so they replaced it. The tire was fine for a couple of months then started leaking. I went to Lewis center and they were awful, they were condescending and "repaired" the tire. They didn't. I had to go back and have the same poor interaction, they "repaired" a second time. This lasted about two weeks before leaking. I called Easton and explained my frustration to Ben, he was great and ordered a replacement tire. I made an appointment and I admit I was prepared to be upset. Ben saw my frustration and did everything possible to turn it into a positive experience. He succeeded above and beyond. There is always a wait but I don't mind because I know I'm going to receive fantastic service. I have dealt with a few different people and all have been equally helpful. I wish I could give more stars, I've been a loyal Discount tire customer in past 5 years. In this location, I've been waiting for 3.5 hours but my car hasn't even moved an inch in the parking lot. I purchased tires from another Discount tires store but they worn out in 15k miles, they told me they will give me credit for that if i replace all 4 tires. I accepted it. But when I told them I want to go with a cheaper option than michelin, their niceness turned into disappointment. I could tell from attitude and facial expressions. Anyway, I was told that there are 11 cars in front of me and It wil take around 2-2.5 hrs. Well, it's been 3.5 hrs still nothing. I paid more than 400 dollars and this is what I get in return. I will wait to see their work before I post this. So if you see this post that means nothing changed for me at the end of service. I arrived at Discount Tire with no appointment, they took my car, and called me within 2 hours to advise the tire had been repaired. They even surprised me with the cost of the repair - in a positive way - it was less than projected. I would NEVER go back to this place. I get worked up just thinking about my experience there today. I am a young professional woman and needed four new tires for my car. I called around and got some quotes and decided on Discount Tire. I went in to pay and the man reached out his hand for my credit card and said that the price was $900. Mind you- my quote the day before was for $750. I held back my credit card and said wait...that is not the quote I got yesterday. The guy said 'oh that's because of the one year warranty we added for you'. HOLD THE PHONE. (at this point I'm pissed). I said HOW DARE YOU add a $150 charge for a warranty WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME IF I WANTED THE WARRANTY. He ended up taking it off because I saw right through his scam..but he thought - hey she's young, she drives a relatively nice car - let's see if we can take advantage of her. Discount Tire Co. on Morse Crossing at Easton is a poor excuse for an honest establishment. I took my car in for one new tire and while my car was being serviced a severe amount of damage was made to the passenger door. They are refusing to take responsibility for this damage and have been rude and dishonest many times over.
