After waiting and asking when my vehicle would be worked on it got immediately pulled in. A rep came out to offer me some money off what I paid for my 4 tires but it's been a week and that money hasn't showed up in my account. Discount Tires appeared to be helpful at first when I went to get new tires put on everything seemed OK but once I left their parking lot I drove onto the street and bounced like I was in a boat all the way down the highway. They had a lot of younger inexperienced workers at that specific location. I returned the next day they rotated the tires but there was still no difference. I came back a 3rd time there was no change. The car front end bounced like a all the way down the highway. It is obviously a strut problem. They do not fix struts. I did not have the problem before I came there. I have had several cars get new tires always from Discount Tires and never had a problem after that until now. I would like someone who knows what their doing to fix the problem and that is all I asked of them. They are not being held responsible which I think is wrong. read more

Discount Tire in Copperas Cove took care of me and my Tahoe when her shoes wore out. Steven, listened to my concerns with what I was experiencing and got her on the mend. All the guys were pleasant, I was in and out in no time. Even when I was having trouble with my sensor (3 times), they finally just told me they were going to put on a new one and also some new wiper blades, FREE!! Discount Tire in Copperas Cove is my go-to place for tires. The prices are reasonable and service is great. The staff are all helpful and friendly. They take the time to explain what the issue is and always make sure that there are no surprises. I was looking for a set of Cooper tires for my truck but they were unavailable, so the service rep upgraded me to Michelins. I took the road hazard warranty and have not regretted it; they have replaced three of the four tires under that warranty. This is the place for me. read more

At discount tire in CC. Y'all don't even know how much I love this place. Just want to brag a bit. Came by here yesterday for an air check and refill on two right side tires. Tires were so bad they couldn't put air in them. "ATRIOX" advised me to go inside and speak to the managers "JOSHUA" or "CW" and see if they could help me out. I've been out of work since March. My car needs so much work and I am so far behind on everything I didn't have any hope and definitely didn't have any money. I went in anyways. I got blessed. Immensely blessed. "CW" was able to get me 4 brand new tires at a very steep discount. I had a family member who could help me with the much smaller cost of the tires. (I am actively interviewing with two work from home companies for decent paying jobs so I'll be able to pay them back) I left to get to an interview and came back for the tires afterwards. I left with four brand new tires but knowing (because they showed them to me) that I also had four bent wheels and needed to replace them asap but we all thought replacing just the tires would be ok for now. I left at 5:50 pm, 10 minutes before they closed. 30 minutes later, I was on the side of FM 1113 with a BLOWN right rear tire. "JOSHUA" and one of his coworkers came and brought me a full size spare and changed it out for me. This was from 6:20-6:55 pm. On my way home from the one errand, the FRONT right tire BLEW. It was 7:34 pm. Discount tire had been closed for over an hour and a half. I texted JOSHUA and told him what had happened. I was a mile from home. I did NOT expect anything except maybe help fixing that tire too the next day. Instead, he called his employees and found "BRIAN" and he came and save me. At 8:00 PM! I am now at discount, they are replacing the tires. They feel awful and I don't think they should but they are insisting on refunding the money for the tires I paid yesterday. I asked them if they could instead apply that money to the cost of new wheels for me. They did and then waived the rest of the cost. The wheels will be here from Dallas by Friday at the latest. I will have four new wheels and four new tires and the amount I paid is a pittance compared to how much they actually should have cost me. And they feel bad about me paying for them and leaving and getting two blown tires. Y'all. It ain't their fault. It's mine for being a broke b$&$. The idea that a company is going so above and beyond for me? They have a customer for life. I will send them as many people as possible. In a small town like this it is so amazing to see that although they are a nationwide company, they have small town care. I love my discount tire location. Go see them!!! read more

Service is friendly and employees make an effort to be quick. That is why this is not a zero. The downside: customer service folks frequently attempt to upsell their customers with products they do not need. Often products that aren't easily detected are done wrong - selling the wrong size spare is the most recent experience. I've had to have lugs drilled out by another garage because these were overtorqued and broken off. This is not a professional business nor is it a quality business. read more

Had a nail right on ther border side of my 4 month old tire from here. Stopped at FAST EDDIES on Veterans Hwy and they told me $35.00 to patch it.. That's WAY TO HIGH for a flat repair. I went to Discount tire, where I actually bought the tires on my truck to get it repaired. They looked at it said they Could patch it but Sense I had got Hazard Protection on it Instead of patching it they actually Gave me a NEW TIRE exactly like the one which had the Nail right at the BORDERLINE of the side wall. I had been a Fast Eddy Customer for about 5 years BUT AFTER their HIGH PRICE GOUGING and the " I DONT CARE ATTITUDE" of the woman which was working there I Will Never go there again NOR will I refer anyone to them. You want great service from people who want your business.. GO To Discount Tire next to Home Depot in Killeen. They also do free tire repair to earn your business. So I pretty much need 4 tires every year. Pedro asks if I need the road hazard warranty which is impractical for my situation. I say no thanks and he doesn't push. Pedro doesn't try to price gouge me. I made an appointment yesterday morning to get my tires at 8:00am this morning. I arrived about 15 minutes early. At 8 o'clock they opened the doors and pulled my truck in. While they were replacing my tires I paid my bill of a little less than $1,400, about the same as it was last year. At 8:17am I was pulling out of the driveway. They got my truck done in 17 minutes including the time it takes to pull it into the service bay and pull it back out! Had an appt at 4pm, got hung up at work and wasnt able to show up until 430pm. I hear a lot of horror stories when it comes to discount tire, was a little nervous having them install brand new wheels. the guy at the front was very professional, gave me a time it'd be done and it was done exactly when they said it'd be done. Mark, Jacobs and one other person(didn't catch his name) worked on installing the wheels like true professionals. Went to dinner and came out to truck and tire was low, went home and overnight it went completely flat. I couldn't find anything, so made an appointment to get it looked at, they got me in ahead of my appt time and found a screw in the tire, repaired it and I was out the door within anout 45 minutes from when I arrived. I made this review because they were very busy and it's well over 100 degrees and I appreciate them and their hard work. I've had several bad experiences with this particular store. First they try to over charge you on prices for tires. And that was just the start of my problems with this store. Second was when we bought 4 new tires and they damaged our car and required a body shop to fix the damages. And the last straw was I had a tire that I had purchased there on our other vehicle that the weights fell off of and the sales person refused to balance it unless I purchased two new tires. If I could give zero stars I would. I have done business with Discount Tire stores from coast to coast for years and they have always been my 1st choice, but no more. The Cooperas Cove, TX store has cost their entire franchise my future business. Today I came by with a screw in the front tire of my my 2015 RAM Dually. The sales person checked all the tires then entered them into the computer. Then he tells me that my tires are too wide for my wheels. He says my tires require a 6.5" wide wheel and mine are only 6" wide. I said "well that may be but this store has rotated these tires on these wheels on this truck more than once and has road force balanced them as well." He then verifies what I told him in the computer. I said "are you going to fix my tire!" He said, "No, it's a safety issue." So told them, "That's cool, I'll go somewhere else, but I'll never bring another one of my vehicles to another Discount Tire Store again." I had a tire fixed at the Pflugerville location and the service and people were horrible (Alfonso) I end up taking the tire with me because I was so frustrated. Two days later I come to the Copperas Cove location and am greeted with a smile and excellent customer service. I highly recommend the Cove location, they are alway top notch. I'm still sort of at a loss (in a good way) I discovered my valve stem was damaged at the base so I gave them a call through a friends suggestion and a guy named "Jamie" told me to just bring it in it would cost me nothing. I was super confused, when I got there Jamie was busy but a guy named Lopez was able to help me just fine. He went and accessed the situation and started to gather my info and start a bill up. I thought to myself "ah ok, here is the bill" and this guy goes "ok its on the house". I'm confused because nothing is free, but sure enough 45 mins later I'm driving away with a new valve stem and my tire on the car for nothing they just handed me the keys and told me to have a great day. I love the Copperas Cove location of Discount Tires. They always took very good care of me and both cars I had, while living in the area. They never looked to oversell. They air check for free. When my tires were low, I'd always go there, because they'd check for a reason rather than just topping me off and letting me go on my way. Just before I moved, I stopped in because I had low pressure in one of my tires. I thought I'd caught another nail - which I've done a lot of there, especially after the hail storms caused a lot of roofing projects. Turns out, my tread was dangerously low. I needed two new tires and the other two weren't far behind. My biggest problem? I was literally about to move out of state - cats and kid in the car, packed up, about to hit the road sort of moving. We talked about tires, especially as I was moving to a wet climate and traveling through potentially snowy country, picked out a moderately priced set of 4 and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. It's not really how I expected that visit to go, but I'm glad he was insistent on doing a full inspection of my tires because being stuck in the middle of nowhere, on a cross country drive, with a car packed full of stuff and cats, wouldn't have been my idea of a good time. read more
