If I could give -1 Stars, I would. The big (morbidly obese) guy in the red shirt is a LIAR!! Huge waste of time. I called ahead of time before I went to check if they can install my tires on my rims and they said they can and even gave me a detailed price for the rim/tire size. When I got there the large fella then said they can't work on my wheels bc they don't sell that brand. WHICH IS POINTLESS!! How hard is it for a tire shop to put tires on rims? That's a very simple job for such a company. Wouldn't recommend getting any kind of services here the big guy is very rude, and ruined my day. Not to mention they overprice EVERYTHING! They tried to sell me tires in my size for $288 a piece and I found the same tires online for $73 ended up paying $346 online for all 4 tires, tax and shipping included! Copperas cove discount lost screws to my caps and the others were rattling, then I was told tires wheels were discontinued and he had nothing else to add, then told me to go to Leander and get it done. What have you done with the place? All I remember is long lines, waits and shitty service. Ok, I felt bad walking in on a Sat morning when the place was crowded, knowing my "slow leak" was a free repair. I was treated like I had just purchased $2500 worth of rubber. The customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! Jacob, who checked my Jeep Trailhawk in for me was great, I may have felt bad but he sure didn't. The guys were great the low review is really because I made a 9am apt and I know they have to get everyone in but my car didn't get started till almost 930 an on top of that I only needed a new tire covered by my certificate and a rotation and it took a hour to do tha it was after 10 brfore i got out of there and i also got there 15 minutes early. If I was alone no big deal but I had a 1 year old with me as well as in Temple it is next to a mall where I can take my son to play if it takes longer in Copperas Cove they are by nothing that you can go to entertain next time I will find someone to drop my car off and take me back later or just go to Temple. We have used discount tires for years now, and always had good experiences until today. My nephew purchased tires for my car and when he went to pick up the car he noticed the tires they had put on werent the ones we paid for but the cheapest ones they have. He questioned them about it and they apologized and said it was a mistake. Sure glad he went to pick up the car as I would have never known the difference in tires. They have put the wrong size tire multiple times on my vehicle. Never once told me that my rims on my car have issues such as bent and one welded. Feel that information should have been said especially knowing this car was new to me but used. Rude customer service. Not very helpful or polite. read more

I have been using Discount Tires for over 30 years, but I will never use the Copperas Cove location again. They offer free tire rotation for your tires. I have purchased all 4 of my current tires from the Cove location. Today I called the store and asked if I needed an appointment to come in and get my tires rotated. I was told, "No, you don't need an appointment, just come on in and we'll tke care of you." I drove to the store and was told I would have an hour and ten minute wait, just park your car and someone will be with you. I then waited 10 minutes for assistance. Meanwhile, another car drove in and parked beside me and was waited on first. When I was helped, I was told it would be over 2 hours before I could be helped. I then asked why they didn't make appointments and was told they do, just not same day appointments. I left and told them I wouldn't be back and I not only will not return, I will tell everyone I know to never use the Copperas Cove Discount Tire Store. read more

I went to get my tire balanced and rotated. Made me pay a one time fee for my current tires of 64$ for a lifetime service. Then they tell me i needed new tires and that they will not put my old tires on the damn car! So i thought fine i'll buy new tires. I bought new tires and had to pay the exact same 64$ for it. Umm... So why did i pay the 64$ on my first set if they're gone?! Then they refused go let me take my old tires home cuz they're "unsafe". When i think about it. I could have still used them till they actually broke!! These people are sales talker and will try and sell you anything!!! Don't fall for it!! After i bought the tires he tried to sell me rims when mine was totally fine. Then told me i needed new bolt kits or something for the tires cuz the ones i had were too old? Ohhh!! When i think about them i get so mad!!! Never go here! They make you think they're taking care of you. Try other places and you'll see that it's all a show. read more

I called this store and asked about fixing my tire that had a nail in it. The man on the phone was very nice and told me to bring it up there and they would repair it for free. Awesome! When I got there, they were very busy. I was greeted when I walked in the door, and reassured more than once that someone would be with me shortly. When it was my turn, the man who helped me was named J (on my receipt it says Jose J Burgos-Vargas). He was very nice, and extremely helpful. He told me that I didn't have a simple fix, and that I would have to replace the tire. He explained everything to me in detail, and helped me choose a tire that would be fitting. The tire had to be ordered, and would be in the next day. J was off that day, but the other guys that were in there were just as friendly and helpful as he was. The wait was extremely long the first day I went in, due to them fitting me in. The wait for them to actually put on the new tire the next day was lengthy as well. All in all, I'm glad that I took my truck here. I will be back in the future if need be. Awesome customer service...the wait for repairs is just longer than I would have liked. read more

Went to Discount tire Copperas Cove Texas,Bought two tires for my SUV wanted four but they only had two, no problem get the two other tires later.Went back a little over a month later they said they were still out of them would have some coming in on a truck later that week and would call me when they came in a week went by no call.I went down to the store and they checked and said well a customer came in and needed all four and they sold them to them but would have some coming in Wednesday and would call me .Thursday came no call.I went back down to the store and they said oh i guess they didn't come in.The guy checked and said they had some in Killeen and Harker Heights that they would go get them and have them there around 1:00 and would call me 3:00 came no call.I called the store and they said couldn't get them because the other stores had sold them and were out of that tire.I then called the Killeen and Harker Height store and they said they had the tires i was asking for.I then drove over to Harker Heights and purchased the tires and had them put on.Cove store treats customers like #### they don't want to mess with you if they don't have the tires you want in stock.They just want to make the sale then and want call you back.Need a Management change and better staff training. Won't go there again. read more
