I have been a faithful Tires Plus customer for over 10 years. My vehicle was serviced in July for a thermostat issue. I took it back in April for the same issue. They looked at it for two days, said it was fine, and the rest of the vehicle was in good order. A few days later, I took it on the highway and in two hours I was on the side of the road with a blown head gasket. My Jeep has been sitting at a Firestone (same company) undrivable, for over a month and despite daily calls to customer service and several higher-ups- NO ONE has ever called me back to discuss my vehicle. I have never experienced such an unprofessional response to a situation. The Local TP manager Kat, was actually responsive, friendly, and tried to help but as soon as it was passed off to corporate people-I cease to exist. read more

My wife had gotten her tires replaced here, so I decided to call them to inquire about replacing the tire pressure sensors on one of her tires. They quoted $85 per tire to replace the sensor, which is about average. However, they wanted $120 to spend 5 minutes reprogramming the sensor with their scan tool. Absolutely outrageous. No other company I contacted charged for reprogramming the sensors. In fact, Walmart says they will do it for free based on their website. If they try to gouge you for something like this, I'm not sure how kosher their other business practices are. read more

Above and beyond service every time I make a visit. I called maybe an hour before closing and was squeezed in when I randomly encountered a flat tire. They told me that if I got there an hour before closing, that they'd make time for me to replace the tire. Bait and switch experience. I went on line and used Tires Plus alignment service cost calculator. I then made an appointment for service after given a price. Just before doing the service, they told me that there would be an additional 20 dollar up charge for all teslas. I was confused why that was not listed on the calculated cost. When I went to pick up the car I noticed they also added another 21 dollars for shop fees. What a rip off. I can't recommend a company that uses a bait and switch for their pricing. After purchasing four new Pirelli tires from here, I experienced severe vibration and handling issues with the vehicle. I took the car to the dealership, Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta Northeast to assess the problem. Upon examination, they concluded that I was sold defective tires that had to be replaced. All four tires were out of round and testing indicated more than 100lbs of road force. They noted the tires could not be properly balanced because they were defective and should be replaced to avoid further damage to the vehicle. It has been nearly 3 months since I raised the issue with Tires Plus and they have not taken any accountability. Each call with the store simply results in an empty promise to look into it. A large part of the problem is the store is terribly understaffed and the employees do not have adequate time for customer service. The management does not appear to provide their employees with sufficient resources to really provide customer service. Explains the poor BBB rating. Meanwhile my car continues to have safety issues. read more

I have received very poor and disappointing service the last few times I have gone to this shop. Manager was very dismissive when I politely expressed concerns with my vehicle. I have been a long time customer while driving a 100+ mile a day paper route. Now I am retired living on Social Security. My low tire pressure light was on and I put air in the tires and it didn't go off. I started adding up the cost of repair, 2 new tires oil change and tire pressure fix. Knew I could pay over a 6 month no interest on my Tires Plus. So I went to see them. It took 5 min for them to check my tires, sensors, and put air in my tires. The light is off and it cost me nothing. It's nice to go to a auto repair that is honest and did not dry to clean me out. Tonight I received above and beyond service. As they were closing my battery died while in the parking lot at Walgreens. I was grabbing milk before picking up my daughter from practice and was in a situation. AAA was called but were going to be more than an hour. I realized that they were still there and they agreed to help and tear and then change my battery in the lot for me. Andy the tech did a great job and so did the service manager! All too often we like to tell everyone the bad things that happen but it's good to also share the good things that come out of a bad situation. read more

We called 11 stores for a 21 inch tire for a Range Rover that hit a road hazard and stopped our drive to FLorida. None none could deliver. We also called 3 Land Rover dealerships who had no stock and would not accommodate an emergency service visit. Tires Plus was responsive and said they would have a tire ready in 90 minutes. They promised to call when the tire was delivered to their store. Promptly within 90 minutes I received a call. When I arrived at the store they recognized the car model I had called about and immediately pulled it in to mount and balance the tire. If this wasn't enough they had the best price for a new tire and of course the only one to deliver same day. We were in and out in much less than 30 minutes with a stellar service experience. read more

I recently bought new tires and had one replaced under warranty at this location. I originally booked online with a different Tires Plus. When I called to confirm the day of my appointment if they had my tires in stock I found out they did not. They searched in their system and found that this location had them. I was only given the address. Unfortunately my gps thought the address was in Buford and not Duluth. After going out the way 20 minutes, I arrived for my appointment 35 minutes late. The front desk staff apologized for the calling around earlier in the day I had to do, plus the other location not giving me better direction than an address. I was on tight schedule so they fixed the warranty tire and rescheduled my appointment. The next day I arrived for my appointment. The staff was ready for me and immediately checked me in and took my car to the back. They kept me informed of the process and time frame. I use to frequent Tires Plus years ago, but stopped because there is not one near my home. After my experience here I will go out of my way to use them again. read more

I was here on a Monday afternoon, business started out slow but they gradually got busier. I usually change my oil myself but I decided on having someone else do it this time. I also needed two tires and the last time I got brand new tires was several years ago at a Kauffman Tire store, so I thought I'd try somewhere different. I had a great experience. The staff is helpful and not too pushy with trying to upsell you and the technicians are clearly skilled and definitely time efficient. Their prices are fairly competitive as well. Andy at the front desk is a sweetheart and make sure to ask for Chris to perform any needed (major) services because he's the greatest! read more

I always trust Tires Plus with my vehicle, I've been going there for almost 2 years. The service every time has been phenomenal, the staff is always very kind and understanding. If I ever have a question and need to call, they are very informative and helpful. If you ever need anything? I fully trust this location. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and straightforward. The dealership identified a couple of small issues with my car after their multi-point inspection, so I went to Tires Plus and they told me that my particular car doesn't need these services at this time...and when they do, it's about $100 cheaper than at the dealership. They don't BS anyone around and they're very straightforward about what your car needs. I've been a member of tires for years, so I have visited several of their locations. It wasn't til my most recent experience, that I knew I just had to post a review. I needed tire for a trip the next day, so needless to say, I waited til the 11th hour to call the Buford Highway location. Jason answered and was very accommodating from start to finish. I dropped my car off and within a short period of time, it was ready for the road. He test drove it with me to ensure that I was completing satisfied and all my concerns were addressed. Very unprofessional customer service. My mom brought her car there for an oil change. My mom got a call from Lindsay who stated that her brakes needed service and her brake fluid needed to be change. She was quoted $300+ for the brake service and $95 for the brake fluid. My mom authorized the brake fluid but not the brake service. Two hours later we hadn't heard about our car so we went to go find out what was going on. Once we got there we found out that our bill was $500 because they had gone ahead with the brake service that we had not authorized. We stated we had not approved that service to be performed. To clear up the confusion Lindsay was brought out. She immediately started to yell at my mom, screaming that my mom was wrong. We where in shock by how rudely she responded. The most ironic part is the brakes squealed and sounded worse when we left. My mom has cancer and she was violently ill for the rest of the day due to the stress that Lindsay caused with her rude and childish outburst. I feel like this place saw my mom as a small, weak woman and they decided to take advantage of her. I don't appreciate businesses that prey on people. This place is disgusting for allowing someone so unprofessional and volatile to represent their business. I will never return and I will be telling everyone I know to stay far away from Tires Plus. read more

I had my tires replaced here recently and although I cannot remember the associates name, wish I could, she was amazing at service. Knowledgeable and honestly just funny. She helped us make a solid and not expensive choice. Well, not the most expensive anyway. The repair was done quickly and they even offered to give me a ride home if I needed one, which I didn't. I only live like a mile away so that may have been why they offered, not sure. It was a good experience and I would definitely use Tires Plus again. read more

I have to say this is by far the most trustworthy, dedicated, and efficient tires plus I have been to. I had an issue with my tire and I had to go in three different times about it. Every single time I had to go back (which was not their fault I just had a shitty tire) they treated my car and my tire as if it was the first time that they looked at it. Finally it came to a point where I decided to just replace the entire tire. Already knowing that I was probably due for a brake repair, I was told my back brakes needed fixing sometime in the near future. It wasn't "you need to get them done today so we can get more money" it was "Hey just letting you know your brakes should get fixed soon." Without even asking, at the time of checkout for my tire, I was given a separate piece of paper with a quote of how much they'd charge for my back brakes. A couple weeks later I got them done. The entire time from my tire issues to my brakes, I talked with a guy named Jason.....which come to find out he is the store manager and let me tell you....Jason is the best! He grows relationships with his clients and makes them feel right at home. He looked at other minor concerns with no questions asked and even took it upon himself to stay one step ahead. I was in there today for about 2 hours for my brakes and in that time I was listening to him talk amongst his team and his clients and you can tell he isn't just there to collect a paycheck. He listens, stays optimistic, and has his clients best interests at heart. He's willing to make sure whatever needs to happen is best for you and then takes it from there. He's honest, friendly, and a true representation of a leader. He doesn't just stay in the front while his team works in the heat but instead is inside with the customers and right back out in the bay helping his team and working with them. I usually don't write reviews, but to be honest with all of the help from Jason and his team...a review is deserved! If they see this, THANK YOU. I'm not sure where to begin. We have nothing but great things to say about Tires Plus, and are so thrilled that they are right down the road from us. The most recent incident was the nail in the coffin of no longer patronizing the dealership we utilized for our (free) oil changes, etc. We had bought a booklet of coupons when we first purchased our vehicle. Along with the coupons, we were offered a handful of free oil changes. We have a few more visits left, but will not use the freebies. We'd rather pay for oil changes at Tires plus than to give our business to a dealership service center that would rather use deception to turn a profit and fill the pockets of the higher ups. Back to why we are so thankful for Tires Plus. 100% of the service technicians are honest, helpful, informative, and did I mention honest? They seem to know the secret of how to create rapport with customers and make them loyal to their shop. Very recently, we took our vehicle into our dealership to get a steering fluid flush. Apparently these flushes are done only at dealerships. The result of that was the service person telling me that there was a leak in the rack and pinion. The cost was high. But, if something needs fixing or replacing, cost takes second place. I understand this concept well. I asked him if this was something that I could take to my local mechanic to replace. His response was that mechanic shops will use after market parts (made it sound like a really bad thing) and that to often the mechanics will force fit parts, etc. I immediately went to Tires Plus, told them of what I was told. Made an appointment for the next day to have TP do an assessment. What the Honda guy told me wasn't sitting pretty with me. After the assessment, TP tech told us that there was no leak and that he wouldn't have us spend a lot of money replacing something that he didn't think needed replacing just to have the problem persist. My jaw dropped when he was telling me this over the phone because TP would have been in the perfect position to confirm what the dealership told me and just underbid the estimate. But no..they were HONEST with their customer and made recommendations of topping off the steering wheel fluid. The technician even took my car for a test drive to see if he could hear what I was hearing. That is beyond someone who is in the business of fixing vehicles. That is someone who cares about the well being of the people who drive and ride in those vehicles. He topped off the fluid at no charge. In fact, he didn't charge us anything for the entire experience. This was not the first time we were given excellent and honest service. We will not be returning to Honda service center (again, not even to use our freebie oil changes). Thank you to everyone at Tires Plus! My wife had gone to this shop for tires for her car and we were very happy with the service, so I thought I would take my Toyota Highlander in for an oil change and tire balancing and rotation. The tire work was done as expected with no surprises. While I was waiting for my vehicle I saw the technician talking to the service manager and they were both looking at the glove box where the cabin air filter is. What I found out the next time I went to open the glove box was that they had damaged it, and while they knew they had done the damage, they obviously chose not to disclose this to me. Also, when I went to leave I noted that there was grease on the inside and outside of the driver's door, on the leather steering wheel, and the seat. To top it all off, the prices for the oil change were higher than the dealers prices. I had hoped and expected a much better experience than this and would not go back to this location.
