What an amazing experience! About to take a 7 hour round trip drive in the next two days and realized I had a tire showing thread. Knowing I've got tires that aren't the 'norm' (22's, short 305's) on my truck, I was panicked because I've usually got to order them in and schedule an install. Called Discount Tire on Beach St in Ft Worth and spoke with Cody. Explained the situation, and he told me if I was able to get there within the next 30 min he'd have TWO like-new tires for me that would work for my truck, and he could have them on the SAME day. He quoted me a great price for both, including rotate & balance. Turns out both tires on the driver's side were bad- so I was grateful he had two matching tires at a price that I could afford. Truthfully, I was expecting to get there and be "surprised" by a bunch of added fees & necessities, but that wasn't the case. What Cody quoted was exactly what I paid- and I was in and out in less than 20 min! Super happy with the service- all the staff was friendly and helpful. The guy who drove my truck around to me at the end confidently answered all the questions I was throwing his way... And I'll definitely be returning to this location with all of our families vehicles. Great service but this is twice on two cars they forced me to buy new tires. Last year I blew out a Michelin on a pothole. The other 3 tires looked like they had plenty of life in them. Guy said the sidewalls looked cracked and convinced me to spend 1k on new tires. Traded that car for another one and with only 29k the previous owner did not rotate the tires. All I wanted was a rotation and would buy new tires in 6 months or so. The backs were in goot shape Said they were "in the red." No they fuckin weren't and he advised to get two new tires but why would I want only 2 tires with a different brand? Another 1k for 4 new tires. These guys used to do what you asked now they only care about getting a sale. The service in the bay however was top notch and at 3pm on a Saturday got my new tires in a speedy fashion. read more

More than 8 years after my first review of this Discount Tire store. Nothing has changed, still 5 stars across the board! Service rep was very patient and helpful, the requested service was quick, special tires ordered and installed the next day. The value they offer is their expertise and quality service (with a friendly attitude). The high cost of tires these days, is much like everything else. Not much you can do about that, but if you are low on air, they will take care of you, even if you didn't get your tires from them. Best warranty in the business and well worth a bit more money, think of it like insurance for your tires. All and all, with all of the business changing or going under, etc. it is awesome to know that Discount Tire has remained consistent! This review is not a reflection of the whole store, but more a reflection of the sells team/members. When I first walked in no one greeted me and it looks like they were trying to decide which one was going to help me out. After standing there awkwardly in front of three of the salesman, I finally hear a low toned hello so low that I didn't even know which person it came from. I was looking around to see maybe a greeting face or a smile that indicated they were the one who said hello. I ended up just walking to one of the sales men and explained I needed a rotation rebalance. I was under the impression I would get this service for free since I've bought over 6-8 sets of tires at that store. And when I looked it up, it said that discount tire does free lifetime rotation rebalances for people who bought their tires from them. Then the salesman told me well if you didn't buy these specific tires for this vehicle here then I can't do the rebalance for free, but we can do the rotation. I was disappointed bc I needed them rebalanced as well... after three years of service that I gave discount tire working at that location and also thousands and thousands of dollars that I've spent there I couldn't get a simple rotation rebalance for free? Then when I get inside for the rotation, he says well I have to check the load limit on your tires at this point, I felt like he was just trying to be difficult and then he told me well, No, we can't even do the rotation because your load is not meeting the criteria for your truck. But if I were to have bought the rotation rebalance, he was just going to do it... that just seemed scammy! After he told me he could not service my truck because of the load limit he said well let me go ask my manager if we can do it... like why ask your manager if you're telling me you can't and if your manager says yes, why is the rule even in place?? Idk maybe that guy was having a bad day but I desperately needed my truck to be rotated and rebalanced, and I was unable to get that service done from discount tire... Ps. The buff black gentleman working the air check line is awesome he made me feel a lot better bc he had a great attitude and good customer service! Went to this location and had the front 2 tires on my 2017 Ford F-150 replaced. I had picked up a fast leak in my rear driver side tire and they said they fixed it. Well, I noticed the tire pressure was slightly dropping over the next two days, and then, it would drop 15 psi overnight. I have taken the tire off and put the spare on. It is possible they didn't seal it properly. Hopefully they will fix this. read more

Walked In, the lobby was packed and there was a line to get help. I felt guilty as heck but I couldn't wait till Monday. I like to people watch and I watched multiple salesman not only show extreme patience, and professionalism with a packed lobby, but seeing the salesman help customers get a tire or a set of tires that fit their needs not a sales goal was amazing to watch. It feels good knowing that this company puts the customer first they won't try to sale you a tire that you don't need. The value of a business that values its customers it's not seen much today. I've been coming here since I got my first car in 2012. That's 7 years of great service. They've always gone above and beyond to help me, and I can't recommend them enough. We purchase all of our tires here and opt for the warranty, because who wouldn't? For an extra $15 if you get a flat that they can't fix they'll replace the tire and you just have to pay $15 for a new warranty on the new tire. I repeat $15 for your NEW tire replacement. Having bought warrantied tires @ Discount Tire was a lifesaver. I found a nail in one in this torrid heat, tire replacement and rotation was fast despite a large crowd for service. I initially turned down Steve's offer for windshield wiper replacement thinking he was just selling up: he SAID "we have the least expensive ones". I'm thinking I could do it myself for less. Well Autozone prices had me right back in Steve's 'line' (saying goodbye to a customer). I didn't have to get out of the car, Jorge had the wipers on before Steve brought my receipt. Well up until today BEWARE. If you go in for a tire rotation and rebalance that u paid for I hope u don't have after market lugnutz. I was told in order to proceed I would need lugnutz purchased there at discount tires. If not they would not do the service. Something to do with the lugnutz not sitting right. Well I've had them for years and to their surprise they sold them to me. While I was there several other customers were going thru the same thing buying $52 dollar lugnutz. I finally ask the manager if this was a new policy he said no just a strong recommendation as of now. Straight BS and I have filed a complaint with the Region . Oh and get this they swapped my out for free with basic lugnutz no locks like I had. So again I refused the basic ones and they had to order some from the ford dealership. 3hrs and two trips back. Stay away from all discount tires especially the at 6609 N Beach St, Fort Worth, TX 76137. Dino will do everything he can to strong arming you into buying a tire. I took my truck in because 1 tire had a very small leak before the tire was even taken off and looked at Dino said I needed a new tire. Once the tire was pulled off the worker told Dino it was fixable and less than 2 minutes later Dino said it can't be repaired and you MUST buy a new tire. I said just put the old tire back on I'll deal with the slow leak and Dino had every excuse why he couldn't put my tire back on and why I had to buy a new tire. He didn't offer to sell me a used tire or even put my spare tire on so I wouldn't have to spend money. Dino was out to make a sale no matter what. Discount tire used to be about customer service but they are just like every other corporate America business they are out to screw you out of you're hard earn money. Dino is a crook and Discount Tire should be ashamed of their business model and policy. Their corporate office really needs to take a hard look at their policy and make some changes before they lose more customers. I will never return to this or any other Discount Tire location. Word of advice if you go into the Discount Tire on 6609 N Beach St, Fort Worth, TX 76137 and Dino is there ask for someone else to help you or you'll be spending money on a tire because he has no interest in helping you only racking up commission. read more
