Had a unique experience: had to return to this location multiple times after a complete set of tires failed to be balanced properly. I purchased a mid-range set of tires, not knowing at the time that they would be a problem, but after trying them at high speeds, found out quickly. I called and Branden, Asst. Mgr., said to bring my car right back in and they'd rebalance for me. I arranged to do so, and the problem got better, but not perfect. I called a 2nd time and reached Jaz, the Store Mgr. He apologized, asked me to come in and made an appointment. Jaz made sure I was coming in on a day he was there, to make sure I eww as satisfied. I did, left happy, and then had the problem again, but at an even higher speed (I'm a speed demon LOL). I called, left him a vm, explained that this was getting exhausting. He commiserated, started talking about switching out my tires for the higher-priced models. I offered to pay the difference, and he said it wasn't necessary. He said with all of my inconvenience, I shouldn't have to do so (I live pretty far, but made the first appointment at Cooper & Warner cuz it was available the same day LOL). He then made an appointment for a day he was there. When I picked up my car, he met me outside where I was being dropped off with my keys. He had one of the shop guys bring up my car and apologized profusely. He said that he felt that the top-of-the-line tires would solve all of my problems. He was right--apparently my car is as boujie as I am LOL. I really think Branden and Jaz went above and beyond! Both of them knew me by name and while I would have rather never had this problem, they treated me like family while they helped me through it. Took my friend's car in for a new tire and had a great experience! In the past I've had great experiences at other locations, but this was amazing! Roger was super nice when I dropped off her car and looked at the tires and said he didn't see an issue but would have it put on the lift. When it was up there they said that they really didn't see a need for a new tire so they didn't want her spending her money if it's not needed. I loved how honest they were because they could have put a new tire on and charged her. Will go back with my car in the future! read more

I had an appointment but patiently waited behind a beautiful beamer which the tire salesman was very interested with...not a big deal but immediately set me behind 15 minutes . however, i needed two new tires which I communicated at the onset...same tires would be great which was relayed to sales guy...he wanted to sell me four super premium tires, and then the two super premium, and then didn't know about advertised deals and was super salesman/sketchy...maybe because I'm female...I don't know. I left, and will just purchase from my local mechanic. They quoted me $50-ish dollars less than discount tire for the same tire. read more

Called Saturday morning and was notified that all appointments were full but they could work me in if a I dropped of my car, which they asked to provide my phone number to identify the transaction if I decided to show up. I've been using Discount Tire exclusively for over 30 years and I had my first raw deal with them recently. Josh sold me a pair of tires that didn't fit. They rubbed significantly against the anti sway bar after he told me they rubbed a little against the bumper which could be cut down. Thing is, he expressed concern about the fitment at the onset but lied to me about what was rubbing because I said I wouldn't take the tires if they rubbed in a manner that couldn't be fixed. Word of advice, these employees are only there to sell tires. Know what you need and what will fit before you go. read more

I mistakenly schedule a tire rotation and balance at this location. This is much farther than other locations. However, I was provided way better service at this location. After being treated poorly at the other location i went to by mistake, Brian took the time to show me how to reset the maintenance light on my dash for this service and got me taken care of. He even empathize with me when i was complaining about the lack of service I received at the other location. Working in customer service can be stressful mostly because of the people you have to deal with but Brian made sure I left happy and was extremely nice through the entire process of balancing my tires. Even the guys working the bays were extremely nice. I will drive all the way out of my way to this location any day over the one on Dobson and Chandler. read more

They have consistent, knowledgeable, friendly & as their name states... discounted service. I have tried other places for my son's car but nothing compares to their bang for the buck. Not sure what to think of these guys. I can't agree with the other reviewer who said they are never pushy, they were so with me. I went in clearly knowing what I wanted and they wanted to sell me more than what I asked. I said no several times, and the guy started acting like he was taking it personally that I was refusing his offer and that he was just trying to help me out - you know, like what every salesman wants to do for their customer! I bought 4 tires on the DISCOUNT TIRE website. When they arrived at my house, I was anxious to get them installed. I called up and asked how much the tires would cost to mount them. They quoted me $110 just to mount tires I bought from their own website! When I asked why it was so expensive to mount the tires from tires I bought from their very own website, they explained to me that if i had bought the tires at their store it would be half the price, but since I didn't, I had to suffer the consequences. I was a little apprehensive about buying tires by myself. As a woman, going into Auto shops for anything I always feel like I'm going to be taken advantage of. However, that being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the care and genuine honesty of Josh at this Discount Tire. I went in to purchase 2 new tires, I knew I needed one more, but my budget didn't allow for a third one this month. After talking with him (Josh), he explained the condition of the 3rd tire and quite honestly the 4th tire. He showed them to me and he was right! I do need two more tires. The pricing was VERY reasonable and he was spot on with the length of time to put them on. I will go back for my other two tires in a week or so and I hope that Josh is there again. Josh and Conor were amazing. I had a nail in my tire and they took care of the tire quickly and saved me from needing a new tire. The nail was close to the edge and I was ready to put a new tire if it couldn't be fixed and they fixed it and didn't just replace it. Saved me a ton of money. Andrew B Fort was amazing. That man knows customer service & I know customer service oriented people when I see them & deal with them. Of course, DTC has always been the only go-to place for tires my whole life. Starting from when I first bought a car to now on my eighth car. These guys, anywhere you go in the nation, are top notch. But Andrew left a lasting impression on me, especially when I came from getting an oil change at a mom & pop place in Mesa & the manager was so freaking rude to me. I've never been bullied at a mom & pop place, but this was the first & the last as I'm never trusting a locally owned place again. Then I go to Discount Tire & immediately I could feel the difference in the store atmosphere & the employees & even customers attitudes. Andrew was very professional. He also made me an offer I could not refuse, so I went ahead & bought two tires instead of just one like I originally went in for. I am thoroughly impressed with the time it took to mount / balance / rotate them. I didn't even get a chance to finish reading the Motor Trend magazine article from the lobby! Fast! I can sleep well at night knowing I went to DTC & that Andrew didn't bully me or try to pull a fast one with more issues than I went in for. Can you please give kudos to the man. I woke up this morning to low tire pressure so I took my car to a Discount Tire in Mesa. An employee filled my tires with air and while doing so found a nail in one of the tires. I work in Chandler so I decided to drive my car to the Cooper location, hitch a ride to work with a friend, and leave my car to have the tire fixed. I didn't even make it to the door before Matt came out, introduced himself and asked how he could help out. Matt was friendly, polite, and treated our interaction as more than a simple business transaction. In no time at all I was leaving my car to be attended to and within an hour it was ready to go. I head up the customer service department for the company I work with and we always strive to offer the best service possible.
