The customer service here was outstanding. Greg was a delight. It was like talking to an uncle or dad. He was sweet and polite, gave me all my options and his overall demeanor was just welcoming and pleasant. I followed up ever week to get an update snd was told they kept ordering the wrong size tire. I understand mounting and balancing requires the wheel to be compressed and have a tire lever or have the machine break the tire off, but holy moly, I've never had my wheels this scratched from a tire shop! I came to your store on Thursday with an appointment time of 10:45. My check in went smoothly. I was then recommended to get 4 new tires as it was reported to me that my tread was low. I have an Honda Accord 2018 and you all didn't have the Honda recommended tires but you did offer a second option which I chose. I was quoted a finished time of 12:15. I received a text at 11:28 that my vehicle was ready and I was pleasantly surprised. I paid for my services. I was told that my vehicle was out back in the parking lot and given all of my paperwork. I had my 7 week old baby with me in the stroller and we went through the back parking lot and I couldn't find my car. I went to an associate to make sure I was in the "over flow" parking lot and they pointed us back to that direction. I went back and still couldn't find it. I then went to the front and pressed my panic button and my car was sitting in the front this whole time. I saw the employee who told me it was in the back and he apologized and said that is what was on the paper. As I left I see that my "tire pressure low" was indicator was still on. I called the store and the associate who answered the phone said I can meet him up front and he would reset it, which he did. I left to go home and get gas and I see that I don't have any tire caps on 2 of the brand new tires that I almost spent $1,000 on. I then went back to the store and at first I was told they were out of caps. I said I just paid almost $1,000 on my tires I need the chrome plated tire caps that are on two of my tires all to Match. After the associate going back and forth a few times looking she finally found them and put them on my tires. I have drove my car about 100 miles and my tire pressure light is back on after 2 days. I check my tires and none of my tires are reading the same pressure. It ranges from 34-37. So now I have to come back to the store on Monday to get this resolved. This is extremely frustrating because it should have been checked before. This has been my experience at this store and it makes me not to want to do business here again. read more

CAUTION: If you have had a tire patched somewhere else, and the Low Tire Pressure light comes on, let them add air. But, DO NOT let Discount Tire to check the repaired tire. Well, since my low tire pressure warning light came on again, after having it patched (not from here), I decided to have DT check it out. Upon walking in, customer service was prompt on getting me checked in. Now, it's a waiting game. Well, they checked the tire, and couldn't find a leak. So, I thought that was that, and I'd be on my way. Ha!! Was I WRONG! Their policy is not to put a "potentially bad tire" back in service. And, the Sales Rep failed So, in order to get mysel back on the road, I had to buy a new tire (bought 2 because I think that's better). Was I ticked off? Oh, yeah. Then, why a decent rating and review. The manager gave me a very nice discount, a certificate for a $50.00 pre-paid MasterCard and 6 months Same as Cash. I went to Discount Tire to purchase a set of tires for my 1958 Corvette but sense I was there anyway I figured I would buy a tire for my 2011 Dodge Ram and get three Tire Pressure Sensors (TPI's) replaced. One TPI worked perfect, one TPI did not work at all and the other two TPI's only worked for about 15 minutes after starting the truck. I talked to a salesman by the name of Gregg who told me he had a set of General Grabber Tires that only had 3K miles and that he would sell them to me for less than half of what they would run brand new, and he would replace all four TPI's at $240.00. I specifically asked Gregg if the tires had any plugs in them and he replied, "they are just like brand new with no plugs with less than 3K miles on them". When driving to work the next day, two of the brand new TPI's that were working stopped working after 15 minutes just like they did before they were replaced. Of course, the TPI that was working still was and the TPI that was not working at all, was working. When I got to work, I looked at one of the tires and noticed a plug in one of the tires. (I only looked at one tire.) I don't see how two brand new TPI's would failed after 15 minutes just like the old ones did unless they did not replace them and only replaced the one bad TPI. As far as the plug, Gregg either lied to me, was incompetent or both. read more

I have bigger Michelin privacy MXM4 235/45R18 tires. They had 19k miles and the tread on all four are great. I took my vehicles to a different wheel shop to see if I had a nail in my tire from rapidly losing pressure prior to going to discount. They checked and saw I had a nail but did not have the tire in stock. They stated all my other tires were in great condition. I called several places and received quotes on tires. Ended up going to Discount since they would price match and had the tire I needed in stock. Once I arrived they stated I needed four new tires because my tread was shot, all ALL FOUR. They gave me a difficult time with the price matching because it didn't explicitly state Michelin, but it had the abbreviation (MCH) and part number. After some banter he accepted the price match but could tell he was annoyed with me rejecting four tires and arguing about the quote. Took 2.5 hours to replace. Once I got home I noticed they did not screw on the caps for my tire properly and fell off in transit. Overall a horrible experience, I would recommend going to a different discount or different tire shop. read more

Took my wifes 2021 chevy traverse to get flat tire repairs. Multiple tires were going low. Next day I noticed my rims were scratched bad. No one has touched my wheels but them. Took my car in and they inspected it. They sent my issue to some third party insurance who was the most disrespectful company that I have ever spoke to. They refuse to repair or replace my rims and are hiding behind this insurance company. If you take black rims I would highly recommend to take pictures of them before you allow them to take your wheels off. They will deny any damage to your wheels. Before this they lost my locks on my other vehicle and never told me. Hard lesson learned for me $1200!!! So sad that Discount would do this to anyone. So today I decided to spend $800 on 3 tires for my truck. Dropped it off at 10AM, they told me. 1 to 2 hours for pick up. No worries. It seemed kinda busy. I pack my 3 year old in the stroller and walked to Lowe's across the parking lot. Due to it being 115 degrees we walked around for a bit in their ac. We bought a couple things at Lowe's at 10:30 before we went to the next store while waiting still. At 12 I called discount tire to check how much longer it would be. They told me another hour. I asked why and the dude on the phone said it was because I was checked in at 11. Then argued with me on the fact that I was wrong on what time I dropped my truck off. Well I have my Lowe's receipt and it clearly showed the time of purchase which was 10:34AM. This is the second time I've had an issue with this discount tire location. I've spent thousands on rims and tires with discount tire only to be treated like shit once my vehicles are in their possession. They are nice when your inquiring on rims and tires. But once they have your keys. Your time and their promise on quick service is at their leisure. If it wasn't for me needing tires before my trip tomorrow and the fact I've waited now 3 hours. I would not give them my service. Also to mention i drove from Peoria to GoodYear to get these tires. Since the discount by my house wanted to charge me to have the tires brought to their shop lmaoo. Have always been a fan of discount tires but this experienced made me see them different. So I needed a set of tires for my BMW F30 went online found the ones I wanted made an appointment. Got called a few days later telling me they wouldn't have those in stock and gave me a alternative. Ok great I agreed with the alternative. Dropped the car off and I'm happy you will come outside due to covid-19 Came back couple hrs later. before going inside my dad told me to inspect my car.... I thought pssshhh I'm sure it's fine. I look it over and imminently notice there's light scratchs on the rear passenger tire well. I try wiping it off but it's in the paint. I look at it more carefully and it has the pattern of a tire..... So I'm guessing them taking the old tire off or new one on it must of rubbed up against the car pretty hard. I went inside and paid and left a little upset. I try to take care of my car and this happens. Just inspect your car after getting service is all I'm going to say. Update: The local manager Tony called me to get my feedback on my purchase. I told him everything that happened. And he offered to help by getting a detailer to take a look. Beware of shady experience at location. No trust, zero confidence. Brought car in to have a new TPM sensor replaced/installed paid $70. After installation, sensor needs a few miles to reset before functioning properly. Within a mile of leaving shop the sensor starts reading a PSI of zero. After a red light I continue on and realize tire is completely FLAT. Shop closed by time it took to put spare on and told to bring in next day. When I returned was told that there is damage to tire from driving on it flat..... Told tire is now unsafe and need to replace BOTH rears. Completely frustrated by the process, left location with spare still on car. Got home opened trunk and wheel minus the original tire was there. Now left with driving on spare, needing to buy a new tire. Was a long time customer, spanning numerous vehicles over decades. Only took one visit to destroy that trust and future business. read more

Hide or take your bags or important belongings with you when you drop off your vehicle. I had a mini backpack stolen from my vehicle when I was getting a tire patched up. This happened in July 2021 and thankfully all they got from that backpack was a gym band and some cable machine ankle cuffs. They must have a high turnover rate because this place is very busy. I can't imagine anyone doing this that honors and respects their job. And it really does show with how the customer service is. It's very unorganized and a lil chaotic. read more

David was a life saver and super helpful. I came into this location after I had gotten off the freeway and got a notification in my car that my tire was losing air. I got out and checked and noticed the nail was in the sidewall so they could not patch it. He had called the manufacturer and other locations and no one had one in stock and it would take at least a month to get one due to mine being discontinued. He went into the back and checked and found one that would fit my car so since mine is under warranty he's letting me use it as a loaner till mine comes in. My car doesn't have a spare tire so without him going above and beyond I would be in bad shape. Thanks again David and thanks for going above and beyond. Called for pricing for my mom and scheduled an appointment and asked that the quote and pricing be saved for when she arrives. On appointment date the person had not saved the quote this the person added extra fees and costs to the tires. What was supposed to be around $1,000 out the door became almost $1,300 and would not honor pricing as the person who quoted called off that day. Needless to say they missed this business and will be happy to give it elsewhere read more

Ordered 4 wheels and 4 tires for my car last week. Was told they would arrive the day before New Years. I rescheduled work and plans so I could make a 12pm appointment to get the wheels and tires mounted. They only shipped 3 wheels as they said ONE of them was on back order. The salesman never said a word and I never received a phone call telling me that only 3 had arrived. Now the wheel is not due to arrive until the 13th of January. My day is ruined. Scheduled and appointment for 3:15 and was asked to arrive at 3:00, I arrived at 2:45 and was told to hang out in my vehicle and a service adviser would see my shortly, which he did. Gave him my keys and sat and waited, all the while getting text messages that I am almost up. Service adviser came and told it was going to about 4:45 before I was done, I wasn't happy but I said ok. Went to eat and came back at 4:45 and vehicle had not been touched yet, now I'm not a happy camper. I told adviser I had a 3:15 appointment and why was this not done yet, his response was the appointments aren't really appointments just a timeline of when they should get to it but they were busy. I told him I would come back the next day and I got another 3:15 appointment or should I say "Timeline". I came in and saw the same adviser, like he asked me to, and my truck should be done shortly. They made me an appt and I show up on time and an hour later still sitting here without the courtesy of at least informing me they are backed up or an apology or offer to reschedule me. I got a screw into my tire about 8am. Pulled into the shop and they assessed the damage. It was obvious I needed a new tire. They always have great service and I can go to any dealership to get that service. Employee took the time to make a call about a tire before I drove over to the other discount tire. He saved me a drive. I left the car there and they had it ready by the evening. Also tire insurance offered is well worth the cost. read more

This discount tire has a check in system outside where they have a guy under a tent checking you in but you still have to wait at least 30 minutes to see if they can even help you out.
