I'm really impressed with the service I received at Big O. I called to schedule an AC check up and happened to mention an issue I was having with a shimmy when I break at high speeds. Bruce got me in the same day, test drove my vehicle, and confirmed the problem was warped rotors. A previous mechanic charged me $100 to tell me it was likely bad tires. They drove me home while they re-worked the rotors, checked the A/C, and at my request also tested the battery's integrity. In a few hours I was back on my way. This is how service is supposed to work, people: going the extra mile for the customer, no up charges, no unnecessary fees nor excessive pricing. I took my vehicle in because I was referred by a local body shop. they definitely set me up for failure and i felt discriminated against. when i arrived they seemed helpful until they took my car back. all i asked for was a simple estimate regarding an alignment and power steering issues from a car accident. the manager had some hidden agenda and decided not to help me. they also took my car for a drive without my permission not once but twice after i simply asked for an estimate considering I already knew what i was hearing from my own driving. My mother went in to get two tires...these rip offs charged her 507.21$ for two Cambodian tires plus all their add ons..49.50 for wheel balance 40.00$ tire protection plan 149.95 for wheel alignment 3.00 a pop for wheel weights 14.95 for shop supplies??...what the holy h*ll!!! What do those wheel weights cost? A quarter?..her left front tire was off 400 of a % and they charged her 50.00 for wheel balance????...I'm spitting fire!!! I've been going to big O for many many years to get things taken care when I'm in need for services or wheels an tires. Just recently was referred to this location from the surprise location due to surprise not wanting to mess up my new rims by installing with their wheel machine. Which was nice to know that they were not just going to do it an then not say anything at all... but when I did show up here these guys were on it. I had a blowout on my way back from seeing a patient (I'm a home health nurse). I had to be towed and I had the AAA tow take me to Big O Tires. They could not have been nicer. It was late in the day so thy said they would have a look first thing in the morning. They then provided me with a ride home. They called me the next morning as promised. The parts they had to order came in late that day but they promised to get it done as soon as they could. Sure enough they called about mid morning and sent a car to pick me up. I just had work done on my 2018 Honda CRV after if crossed the 30K mile marker. Not what you would usually think of with Big O Tires but I needed fluid exchange for brakes and transmission. They were great. We were able to get shuttle service to go home while work was done and the price was comparable to the dealer. They also pointed out issue with a/c which we didn't notice at first as we don't like it too cold, but when we got home and called to say that it was running warm they came and picked up the vehicle, kept it overnight and had job done early next morning and delivered to our home. Downhill slide. Bait and switch....flat out lies of what you need. Came on for oil change. Told I need air filter and 3 tires. Looked at tires two were borderline so I OK I will take two to be placed in front. Oil filter made sense as I had been in wildfire area and it took a beating in the smoke. Also told I needed a new battery!? Questioned this and was told it had reached its nonormal shelf life. Really? No thanks, it's fine. Then told they have to get the second tire overnighted. OK. Quoted a price and agreed. They said they would call me when tire arrived....no, I had to call them. Get here and low and behold price went up $40!? I question the increase to a rude if you listen I will explain. Huh? Ultimately I noted he had automatically added road hazard. I had declined it the day before. What? Considering this place is outside of a senior community I beg them to rethink how they do business. Adding things on, saying one thing and meaning another, is basically taking advantage of elderly folks. While waiting watched same dude talk over an older couple (getting oil changed )after him saying they needed an alignment ASAP....saying if it were him work would be done immediately as it was "unsafe" to drive (as opposed to their let me think it over and get second opinion as to cost). Oh yes he gave me $42.48 credit on each tire then charged more for the new tires. I had a bunch of work done on my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and I dealt with the manager named Mitch. He was great!! He went over with me everything I asked for and gave me the price. The nice thing was the price never went up 6 hours later like many repair shops try to do. Sometimes they get into a repair and find more problems that is normal but it can really make some people pissed!! I liked the service and they dropped me at home and picked me up when close to completion. Nice flat screen tv in lobby. However they did forget to adjust my steering wheel to center after alignment. I reached out to them and waiting for response to complete. It only takes 3-4 mins to adjust my steering wheel so I don't see a problem.... Well I was wrong to trust an Auto Repair Business!!! I gave them 4 Stars and I would have given them 5 Stars if they did the alignment right the first time. I emailed the location May 10, 2014. I really expected the Manager to respond back and I was fair by giving them 1 WEEK!!! I NEVER heard back!! It was all over a 3 minute steering wheel adjustment. I'm a member of Jeep Forum and I put my story on their website and was told/showed how to adjust my steering wheel. And YES, I was done in 3-4 minutes!! I just have to say that I have been coming to Big O Tires in Sun City....Bruce and his staff are amazing rock stars in my book!!! Every time I have an issue either with my jeep or tires..Bruce says bring it down let us take a look at it. If you need a ride home just let us know...so today I had my check engine light along with the low tire light. I give them a call. Instead of waiting for them to look at my jeep, I requested a ride home...Josh who dropped me off and picked me up was very kind, professional, great attitude! I have a lady friend of mine who has been going here since APR11 for tires. She told me she needed two tires and wondered if I could take a look. I looked at all of her past paperwork & found some VERY interesting information. In 5 years she has had 3 alignments, one was a 4 wheel alignment. The tires they have been recommending don't come with a mileage warranty & cost $109 - $129 per tire for passenger rated tires that only last around 11,000 - 13,000 miles! The will cover road hazard & workmanship issues, but for $11.50 - $14.50 extra per tire! The tires are not installed for that price either! Oh no - an extra charge amounting to $40.00 or so. A lot of extra fees are added to EVERY ticket. When I looked at her tickets and then her truck holistically, I found something else extremely interesting! She had a couple of tires replaced a year & a half ago, one under warranty. Last summer she had another two tires replaced. Magically, the two tires, which were not worn out yet, were removed and the new tires installed. The tires that were on the rear & had over 20,000 miles were left on the truck. BTW, her spare tire has NEVER been touched, looked at, inspected for ANY issues since APR11. This is supposed to be a professional shop! All in all - the work they do appears to be safe, don't get me wrong. I have been a professional mechanic specializing in tires & emergency road service for over 30 years. The job of taking care of the entire truck and hence the customer, has been pushed to the background and replaced by the need to generate revenue! I asked for and dealt directly with a Bruce Ogilvie, who was reportedly the manager, and got my issues resolved for my friend. I would still not recommend going to this shop unless you are qualified to understand & observe the work they want to perform! read more

This place has been consistently disappointing. Came to get a tire replaced due to uneven wear. I always get warranty on my tires and never had any issues on tire replacements at other Big O Tires. Coming here, after waiting over 30 min just so someone can take the initial look at it to tell us, they can't do anything about it without further explanation is very upsetting. I am very disappointed with this store. I purchased 4 new tires with an alignment (approx. 1 month ago)... spending $700. The sales person sold me on the fact that this purchase was covered under warranty and if I had a flat they would repair or replace for free. Approx 1 month in with my new tires and I go to the store asking for them to keep there word - repair the tire or replace. That promise was not kept. Not only would they not repair, they would not replace. They stated I would need to purchase another new tire. Big O does NOT stand by their tires. Got new wheels and tires for my truck about a month ago. Bruce was VERY helpful in helping me pick tires to match the retro mag wheels I wanted. Then, about a month after they were installed, the tire pressure warning light came on. At first, everything pointed to it just being low tire pressure because of the change in temperature because we were entering the Fall season. Adam brought all the tires (including the spare!) up to the correct pressure, but after a week of driving, the dreaded tire pressure light was still on. I returned to Big O, and Bruce told me not to worry, that they would find the problem and fix it for me. Turned out they didn't put sensors in the new wheels, and to fix the problem, they installed all new sensors for me at no cost. Talk about your excellent customer service!! Awful. I brought my car in for a flat tire. They told me it could not be fixed and that I needed a new tire. They put a new tire on and I drove away. After three days that tire was flat. I took it to my regular mechanic and he said I had a bad valve and that I never needed a new tire, they were just trying to make money off me. My mom brought her car into Big O for an oil change and they overfilled her and she had blue smoke and leaking all over the driveway. We will never go back. Be careful. read more

I hesitated giving the shop even a one star. I had a flat tire and mistakingly brought my car there after being told by AAA the tire is repairable, big o tires said they could not repair it and I needed a new tire. After speaking with my husband within minutes I called back and told them do not do a new tire and put the donut back on and they told me it was too late I would have to pay for mounting either way because the tire was already on the car. When I picked my car up I had grease all along the door as well as all my engine lights were on and cannot be turned off. I had to leave the body shop and go to the dealership where they could fix my light and my sensors, which this shop was unable to do. It turns out they put too much tire pressure in my car and this is the reason why my sensors would not turn off. After explaining the reasoning why my lights would not turn off they advised they were having problems with their air pressure machine and this could be the reason why. I then went to Discount Tire to see if the tires could be repaired and they told me absolutely it can be repaired. After calling the shop in speaking with the Store manager at the location named and Bruce he scheduled an appointment for my husband to come in the following day to see him and only him and that he would take care of everything. When my husband got there he was not there and the guy there stated he was advised if we wanted our money back he would take the tire off the car and put the donut back on the car. No compensation for any of the trouble or problems that occurred with this shop. We did not have time at that moment to do this we already spent too much time just to get a tire fixed. We have went there for several years because they are close by as well as several friends in the community. I have made it my duty as well as my family to be a vocal advocate against this body shop. At all of the recreation centers in Sun City which my family is highly involved in. As well as a corporation that I am employed with, the treatment from the shop was unprofessional, careless, deceiving, and unloyal. We suggest if you want to be valued as a customer and treated with dignity and respect as well as having your car cared for do not go to this location. I have went as far as talking to my attorney in regards to this matter in determining my decision on which way I am going to proceed with this company. As my credit card company suggested to make sure we have pictures which we do . As well as several Discount Tire employees willing to speak up in regards to this matter .
