This store has been my "go-to" for both tires and oil changes for many years. -Every employee, from the phone to the front desk to the shop has been courteous and professional at communicating what is needed. -The few times I have called with a question, I have been given solid advice. -I trust the work that is done, and never felt I was paying for work that was not needed. -Bonus.... We have used them since moving here in 2019. At first we got dependable service for repairs, then just oil changes, tires and alignments. Well that has ended! We took our 2000 diesel truck in due to floating all over the road. We were told it was severly out of alignment. They aligned it, changed the oil and gave it back. We left the next morning no change in the issue. It floated all over the road and was dangerous to drive over 55 mph. We took it back they realigned it and said they thought the steering box might need replaced, due to the age of the truck. We were travelng between here and central Ca, again it got worse as we drove, again 55 mph. We came back our golf cart had a flat. I put a strap around the tire and got air in it. My husband drove it down to get the flat fixed and discuss the truck. He was told he need a new rim, he asked about a tube and was told they didn't do tubes. He drove home and ordered a tube. He is a member of the auto club in sun city and took the tire and the tube down to the shop to put it in. One of the other members, they are a pretty nosey and helpful group, came up and asked what he had going on. My husdand told him he looked at the wheel and tire and said the rim was so dirty it couldn't seal. He cleaned the rim and inflated the tire, no tube used. It is still holding air after 3 weeks. Based on these experiences we did not take the truck back there. Instead we called the shop that works on our diesel motorhome. They found the bearings were dry, we were sure we asked for those to be done at Big O with the last oil change and lube. The steering damper needed replaced and was the likely cause of our issue. Since we intend on never getting rid of the truck, we replaced the steering box as a preventative measure. A new alignment and truck drives like a dream. We will no longer use Big O for any repair and will discourage others. read more

I'm really impressed with the service I received at Big O. I called to schedule an AC check up and happened to mention an issue I was having with a shimmy when I break at high speeds. Bruce got me in the same day, test drove my vehicle, and confirmed the problem was warped rotors. A previous mechanic charged me $100 to tell me it was likely bad tires. They drove me home while they re-worked the rotors, checked the A/C, and at my request also tested the battery's integrity. In a few hours I was back on my way. This is how service is supposed to work, people: going the extra mile for the customer, no up charges, no unnecessary fees nor excessive pricing. If you have an elderly very independent mother do not let her go here alone!! My mother went in to get two tires...these rip offs charged her 507.21$ for two Cambodian tires plus all their add ons..49.50 for wheel balance 40.00$ tire protection plan 149.95 for wheel alignment 3.00 a pop for wheel weights 14.95 for shop supplies??...what the holy h*ll!!! What do those wheel weights cost? A quarter?..her left front tire was off 400 of a % and they charged her 50.00 for wheel balance????...I'm spitting fire!!! If I had known she was planning to go there I would have sent my husband with her...I stopped going there years ago because I took my car in to get the tires rotated..being a woman alone I marked my tires...they charged me but didn't do the job...they just kept my car all day!!...so I proved it to them!...ohhhhh this must have been an oversight!!....my A**!!!...do yourself a favor and skip this place of abuse!! read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. I took my vehicle in because I was referred by a local body shop. they definitely set me up for failure and i felt discriminated against. when i arrived they seemed helpful until they took my car back. all i asked for was a simple estimate regarding an alignment and power steering issues from a car accident. the manager had some hidden agenda and decided not to help me. they also took my car for a drive without my permission not once but twice after i simply asked for an estimate considering I already knew what i was hearing from my own driving. When I got my car back they scratched my cars interior and exterior. they lost potential money/business and now they gained a bad review. thanks for the "help" read more

Big O has always taken care of me. Nothing speaks better then people that really care what you want as the customer. I've been going to big O for many many years to get things taken care when I'm in need for services or wheels an tires. Just recently was referred to this location from the surprise location due to surprise not wanting to mess up my new rims by installing with their wheel machine. Which was nice to know that they were not just going to do it an then not say anything at all... but when I did show up here these guys were on it. Got exactly what wheels I wanted an went above an beyond to make sure I got my wishes for my truck. Not only did they make sure the wheels and tires we're fitted perfect but these guys did it quick. I believe the gentlemen's name was Josh who helped me out at the counter. He was awesome... he made sure I had a ride to an from home if needed an also was accurate on his timing for his estimation. Josh gave me a call mid day to tell me about a hiccup when installing the new tires an when I returned his call we decided what was best an he again went above an beyond to make sure I got my rims an wheels installed that day. I told him when I left this is what makes me come to Big O every time. Big o always make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. I had a blowout on my way back from seeing a patient (I'm a home health nurse). I had to be towed and I had the AAA tow take me to Big O Tires. They could not have been nicer. It was late in the day so thy said they would have a look first thing in the morning. They then provided me with a ride home. They called me the next morning as promised. The parts they had to order came in late that day but they promised to get it done as soon as they could. Sure enough they called about mid morning and sent a car to pick me up. I just had work done on my 2018 Honda CRV after if crossed the 30K mile marker. Not what you would usually think of with Big O Tires but I needed fluid exchange for brakes and transmission. They were great. We were able to get shuttle service to go home while work was done and the price was comparable to the dealer. They also pointed out issue with a/c which we didn't notice at first as we don't like it too cold, but when we got home and called to say that it was running warm they came and picked up the vehicle, kept it overnight and had job done early next morning and delivered to our home. What wonderful service. Thanks to Bruce O and Jasmine our courtesy driver. We highly recommend Big O Tires. Think out of the box--they are not just for tires. Downhill slide. Bait and switch....flat out lies of what you need. Came on for oil change. Told I need air filter and 3 tires. Looked at tires two were borderline so I OK I will take two to be placed in front. Oil filter made sense as I had been in wildfire area and it took a beating in the smoke. Also told I needed a new battery!? Questioned this and was told it had reached its nonormal shelf life. Really? No thanks, it's fine. Then told they have to get the second tire overnighted. OK. Quoted a price and agreed. They said they would call me when tire arrived....no, I had to call them. Get here and low and behold price went up $40!? I question the increase to a rude if you listen I will explain. Huh? Ultimately I noted he had automatically added road hazard. I had declined it the day before. What? Considering this place is outside of a senior community I beg them to rethink how they do business. Adding things on, saying one thing and meaning another, is basically taking advantage of elderly folks. While waiting watched same dude talk over an older couple (getting oil changed )after him saying they needed an alignment ASAP....saying if it were him work would be done immediately as it was "unsafe" to drive (as opposed to their let me think it over and get second opinion as to cost). 1 star is the lowest rating i can give. Do yourself a favor and go to discount tire or amother service company. They damaged my car and refused to take responsibility or even reimburse me for damages. The tires were warranted for 60,000 miles. The tires now have about 30,000 miles on them and they are bald in some places. Actually dangerous to drive on. This did not make any difference to this owner. Today he put the car up on the rack measured the tread. Then tried to sell me more tires. Oh yes he gave me $42.48 credit on each tire then charged more for the new tires. I had a bunch of work done on my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and I dealt with the manager named Mitch. He was great!! He went over with me everything I asked for and gave me the price. The nice thing was the price never went up 6 hours later like many repair shops try to do. Sometimes they get into a repair and find more problems that is normal but it can really make some people pissed!! I liked the service and they dropped me at home and picked me up when close to completion. Nice flat screen tv in lobby. However they did forget to adjust my steering wheel to center after alignment. I reached out to them and waiting for response to complete. It only takes 3-4 mins to adjust my steering wheel so I don't see a problem.... Well I was wrong to trust an Auto Repair Business!!! I gave them 4 Stars and I would have given them 5 Stars if they did the alignment right the first time. I emailed the location May 10, 2014. I really expected the Manager to respond back and I was fair by giving them 1 WEEK!!! I NEVER heard back!! It was all over a 3 minute steering wheel adjustment. I'm a member of Jeep Forum and I put my story on their website and was told/showed how to adjust my steering wheel. And YES, I was done in 3-4 minutes!! I just have to say that I have been coming to Big O Tires in Sun City....Bruce and his staff are amazing rock stars in my book!!! Every time I have an issue either with my jeep or tires..Bruce says bring it down let us take a look at it. If you need a ride home just let us know...so today I had my check engine light along with the low tire light. I give them a call. Instead of waiting for them to look at my jeep, I requested a ride home...Josh who dropped me off and picked me up was very kind, professional, great attitude! I have a lady friend of mine who has been going here since APR11 for tires. She told me she needed two tires and wondered if I could take a look. I looked at all of her past paperwork & found some VERY interesting information. In 5 years she has had 3 alignments, one was a 4 wheel alignment. The tires they have been recommending don't come with a mileage warranty & cost $109 - $129 per tire for passenger rated tires that only last around 11,000 - 13,000 miles! The will cover road hazard & workmanship issues, but for $11.50 - $14.50 extra per tire! The tires are not installed for that price either! Oh no - an extra charge amounting to $40.00 or so. A lot of extra fees are added to EVERY ticket. When I looked at her tickets and then her truck holistically, I found something else extremely interesting! She had a couple of tires replaced a year & a half ago, one under warranty. Last summer she had another two tires replaced. Magically, the two tires, which were not worn out yet, were removed and the new tires installed. The tires that were on the rear & had over 20,000 miles were left on the truck. BTW, her spare tire has NEVER been touched, looked at, inspected for ANY issues since APR11. This is supposed to be a professional shop! All in all - the work they do appears to be safe, don't get me wrong. I have been a professional mechanic specializing in tires & emergency road service for over 30 years. The job of taking care of the entire truck and hence the customer, has been pushed to the background and replaced by the need to generate revenue! I asked for and dealt directly with a Bruce Ogilvie, who was reportedly the manager, and got my issues resolved for my friend. I would still not recommend going to this shop unless you are qualified to understand & observe the work they want to perform! read more

This place has been consistently disappointing. Came to get a tire replaced due to uneven wear. I always get warranty on my tires and never had any issues on tire replacements at other Big O Tires. Coming here, after waiting over 30 min just so someone can take the initial look at it to tell us, they can't do anything about it without further explanation is very upsetting. I am very disappointed with this store. I purchased 4 new tires with an alignment (approx. 1 month ago)... spending $700. The sales person sold me on the fact that this purchase was covered under warranty and if I had a flat they would repair or replace for free. Approx 1 month in with my new tires and I go to the store asking for them to keep there word - repair the tire or replace. That promise was not kept. Not only would they not repair, they would not replace. They stated I would need to purchase another new tire. Big O does NOT stand by their tires. I would not recommend this store to anyone. read more
