I've always found Discount Tire to be a reliable company with great customer service. I've tried a couple other places in the past when I was in a pinch and now refuse to go anywhere else. Been to this specific location twice in past few months to replace tires (unfortunately) & it's probably one of the best in terms of friendliness and speed (granted it was middle of the week, so not sure if that's true for weekends). By far the best, most welcoming tire place I have been to since moving to Arizona! I had a horrible day dealing with rude people after getting a flat tire on the freeway, but the moment I walked through the doors here I felt a huge sense of relief. The staff was insanely friendly, offered me something to drink, and did not waste any time getting me in and out considering how busy they were and I did not have an appointment. They have great service and a phenomenal attitude. My time here is always short and sweet because of the quick service they do. I have some pretty weird sizes for my tires so they aren't the easiest to find. I was quoted $250 a tire at a firestone that is close to my work but I got quoted $107 a tire by discount which makes the decision easy. Came in just after 8:30am to see about my driver side rear tire. Before I could approach the counter I was greeted by Justin. He took his time and explained to me about the tread on my current tires and how much more time I have to drive with them in there current condition. Justin even showed my 2 year old how to check the tire pressure being she was so concerned with what he was doing to our car lol (he didn't have to take the time out to do this as to why I mention it in this review but that was super awesome of him.) Thank you Ricky for giving me yet another great breakdown as to what the tires should look like. You guys really take care of your customers. Thus far the service here has been great, all staff are helpful, friendly and fast. I enjoy the fact that you are greeted right as you walk in the door and offered a bottle of water. Stopped in with a slow leak on the right rear on my Cadillac. Cyris Parker, the Assistant Manager was great, determining that I had a nail in the sidewall and was non-repairable...Had to purchase two Michelin 245/55/18 Pilot Sport AS3's. They only had one in stock, so they put my spare on while they located the other tire. $550 later, and the next day, I was back on the road. The only negative in the whole experience was the Discount Tire team members did not put my spare back where it belonged in the spare tire wheel well in my trunk...they just threw it in the trunk and threw all the lock down screws on top and shut the trunk---half ass job. it is rattling around back there and is not bolted down whatsoever...reach out to me to finish the job and I will give you your missing star...you only earned 4...want to earn your 5th star??...Update: they reached out to me and They squared away my spare in my trunk---5th star earned!...Thank you Cyris Parker and Discount Tire for completing the job. read more

Customer service at its finest! Nobody likes to have to put on a set of new tires, but when it has to be done this is the place to go. All the guys that work here are so friendly. They will find you the best value for your money. My car broke down while I was here, the young man helped me and was trying to jump start my car in even trying to do mechanical repairs on my car in the parking lot! Caught a nail in my tire and dropped in to have it plugged. Didn't remember that I had bought two tires from the same company in a different state a few years ago. I had purchased the lifetime warranty for a few bucks more so Nick informed me that they would plug it for free - or if that wasn't safe, a new tire would be free because of the warranty. They ended up replacing with a new tire in about an hour. Great service and professionalism. Get the lifetime warranty! read more

I was on my way to work when my low tire pressure light came on. It was 7 in the morning, and discount tire was not open until 8 a.m. I waited in the check air spot and John arrived to work at 7:30. as he walked in to work he stopped to ask me what I needed today. He brought me up to get my tire pressure checked 30 minutes before they even opened so I could be on my way to work. that is a good example of superb customer service! thank you so much! read more

We love Discount Tire...never been disappointed so I wasn't surprised when we recently had another great experience. Chris was so compassionate and genuinely worried when I called to see if they had a certain tire because we were stuck on the side of the road with our rv. He asked if everyone was okay and was relieved when I said we were fine. What a nice man who seemed to be genuinely concerned. I called this location which was further away from where we were but we still went there after speaking to Chris. They had us back on the road within an hour with three new tires on a very busy evening. We'll always be Discount Tire patrons because of their service. read more

Let me begin by saying nothing worse than car issues. Had a flat tire. Filled the tire. Tire went flat. Borrowed my sons car. The clutch went out. Head back to my car, had it towed over to Discount. The entire team was kind and considerate and BUSY! That place was hopping. They still were kind and appreciative of my time and situation. Drew especially went out of his way to make things work for me. My tire was not able to be fixed. They didn't have any used tires in stock but were kind enough to call other locations for me to see if they would have any. Score, another location down the street did. However, when they went to air my tire so I could get to the other location they noticed that there was a crack on the sidewall and they couldn't let me drive on it. They put a new tire on in order to get me to the other location =D and they called the other location so that they would know I was coming and would have the tire ready! 150% saved my day. Were kind courteous and respectful. Customer for life. Much better experience than I had with another BIG tire store....to be un named ;) read more

These guys do not care about what they are doing every discount tire I have been to do a great job. But this place takes the cake with poor work my truck had a flat in the parking lot so they got in my truck and drove it while flat until the tires came off the rim then drove into the bay on the rim they didn't even bother to protect it from damage. The last time I had this situation discount took the tire off on the parking lot and fixed it then put it on the truck then took into the bay. I really cannot believe what I had just saw. These guys have absolutely written the book on Customer Service. Not only did they help me reduce my price and provide me with very quick service, But I overheard another rep helping a man who could only afford one tire, yet he needed two to safely drive off... These guys put a temporary "used" tire on the other side at no charge... If only other businesses would operate and inspire loyalty this way. read more

So my father ordered brand new Michelin sport pilots on October 12, 2020. Tires with warranty come out to $1,300 cool no problem. Tires come in and the tire date codes are from early 2019? Ok we ordered brand new tires and you guys are trying to push these year old tires on us. So we argue our point and they say they will get 2020 date code tires. Fast forward to this week today October 27, 2020 and again they installed a pair of 2019 date code tires and 2020 in the rear. I'm fed up with this running around bs and customer service. The manager John thinks we as customers will take that and talks over us with no respect. I tell him I'll be down in five minutes and reinstall our old tires because I can take our money to Tires2go in Mesa. They'll treat us right and not have this problem. Come to find out Discount has been ordering their to older Michelin sport pilot for us and not the new generation tires that Michelin just came out with this year of 2020. So in short Discount tired to install older discontinued tires on my fathers car. On top of it they said they couldn't put back on the rears because liability on the age of the date codes. So they go ahead and put some Chinese off brand free of charge? Trying to make it seem like they are rectify the situation with free tires.. excuse me but no one asked for free tires and give me a paper to sign for liability putting my old tires back on. Come to find out they put on one of the out dated tires back on the front with a good date code tire. So we still left with a very unsafe care. So now we have random off Chinese brand tires unbalanced and they aren't even run flats? Safety is not a concern here with discount and because we know cars they thing they can Hussle average joe Americans and rip us off? I'm sorry but discount has lost their integrity for customers safety. For anyone looking for tires and a shop that actually cares for your safety. Hit up Tires2go in Mesa, it's a smaller mom and pop shop but in this day and age. We need to give our hard earned money to the shops that care. read more

I will never buy tires anywhere else. Stay with me here, this is long, but it's worth the read. I came in for a tire rotation, and was told by one employee after an inspection that they couldn't do that for me because the tires were in too bad of shape to be serviced. I was super irritated, and came back in for my keys. I was lucky enough that when I walked in the door, Jordan was the employee available to help me. I have 4 kids and spend the majority of my days driving them around. The idea that my tires weren't safe (and I saw them, I knew they were dangerous) was a big problem. Jordan wouldn't let me go until he could find a solution for me I could afford- which wasn't much. The fact that I left there with 3 new tires for the price that I did just blows me away. He's not just an amazing employee and an asset to this company and location, but he's just an all around wonderful person, like the kind of person that restores your faith in humanity. While I waited for my car to be finished, I watched him help another customer- an elderly man who came in super pissed off as well, wanting to return a full set of tires someone else sold him that was the wrong size. Jordan solved his issue, got him into the right size tires, made him smile, and by the time I left the dude seemed totally satisfied with a completely different attitude AND even bought a new set of rims! I was already a pretty loyal Discount customer before mostly because their location is convenient for me, but after my experience today I will never go anywhere else. Trust that. Ask for Jordan. Staff was super friendly, and had my tire taken care of pretty quick (about an hour) considering it was pretty steadily busy. Free of charge for the tire repair (screw stuck in it!) and a balance. Couldn't be happier and will recommend all family and friends to this particular location! read more

The personnel at this store need some serious customer service lessons. Their "take it or leave it" and "I'm doing you a favor" attitudes dont set well when I'm spending over a thousand dollars. i was offered no options, no one discussed price or warranty with me before they ordered in new tires and one of the tires that I was originally told would be covered under the "replacement" policy by the first salesman the second salesman refused to honor. I recommend to never come to this discount tire I bring in my BMW to get a new tire and I went home and found out they bent my rim on my BMW, I went back in and the guy tells me it was bent when I bring it in.
