These guys here are amazing!! Came in at 5pm to find out I had a nail in my tire just shortly after I picked it up from the car dealership there were slammed. Instead of them pushing me off they did everything they could to get this fixed for me within the hour due to them closing as well as having four other cars to take care of and they did!!! After having a stressful day and having this on top not knowing if I could get to work in the morning put an even bigger damper on it. Had a wonderful experience with Discount Tire today. I had a nail in my tire and went to them to fix it. Now I had purchased the car at a deal as it had been driven by a government worker in connection with his job. Great mileage and maintenance, though I should have asked about the tires. Anyway, Mike was the fellow who greeted me and helped me out with purchasing tires. Mike was sincerely friendly and genuinely interested in helping me. I wanted to buy two new tires for the back and he helped me find two great tires with warranty at a fantastic price. Now, I had dealt with a competitor previously and purchased tires for a different vehicle at a very high price with a warranty that the competitor found a way not to honor so I had used Discount for that car and went back today. I received a great price a Discount and a fast service and I do mean fast in and out in about 25 minutes. The remaining tires were inspected and the fellow walked into the waiting area from the shop to tell me the front two tire were good also very friendly and sincerely interested. Discount will have my business for all of my vehicles from now on. read more

I have done business with this particular location for 22 years. I have found that the price I am quoted over the phone is always wrong. About 6 months ago I called to get tires put on a Honda Fit, when I arrived at the store the price had risen by over $70. They were unwilling to charge what I had been told over the phone, so I left. Lucky for me because I discovered a place in Mesa called Kenny Speeds that put the same tires on for $160 less. I should have learned my lesson, but no. Today my Forester needed new tires and out of habit I once again phoned the Discount Tire on Baseline and Gilbert Rd in Mesa, AZ. I gave them my phone number and they looked up my Forester (it was in their system from a bad experience with a curb a year earlier) and they quoted me a price for 3 new tires. I asked if this was the, "out the door price" and the person on the phone said yes. You guessed it when I go there that price was unavailable. The salesperson told me that on the phone they don't know precisely what vehicle they are dealing with and my vehicle had to have the tire pressure sensors rebuilt which upped the quote by close to $30. I told him that they had pulled my car up on their computer so they were aware of the exact car I was requesting a quote on. Furthermore there isn't a Subaru made in the last 4 years that DOESN'T have tire pressure sensors. The salesperson just gave me a blank stare. I told him this was the second time in my last 3 trips to his store in the last year that this had happened and I had been buying tires from Discount for well over 20 years. I was met with the same blank stare. I left. Kenny Speeds will be installing 3 new tires tomorrow morning for $200 less, but granted this time they are a different brand, so not a fair comparison, however the sales person at Discount didn't even try to salvage the sale. In short, it is my personal opinion that Discount Tire has started to act like the large corporation they have become. It's a shame really. And if you don't shop around and question their prices they will provide great service. However they USED to provide great service and the best prices in town. Apparently now they have settled just on service. Have to wonder though how much longer before they abandon that principle as well. read more

This company is always prompt and courteous to me, This time I used their online scheduling and was pleased when it took them about 15 minutes to replace a tire that I had gouged when I hit a curb. As I left their shop, I noticed some vibration so I turned around and they promptly came out to see what was wrong. Another 15 minutes and they re-balanced all of my tires. After that, a smooth ride and I was off to work. Total time spent on replacing my tire and rebalancing about 30 minutes. I'm so thankful for their quick and professional service. read more

I had bought 5 New Cooper 37 inch Tires and 5 New rims for my 2009 Jeep Rubicon. I do not drive it all the time, so being a 2009, I have only 50K miles on it. I just put a six inch lift kit and the new tires and rims on it less than 6 months ago. I came into this Discount Tire, where I had spent approximately $3,700.00. I came in to see why my air sensor for my tires light came on. I had it checked, got my Jeep washed, and the light sensor was still on. I went back to Discount Tire, the first person said that I needed to drive it around and if the sensor still doesn't turn off, to then come back! The second person stated that he would check the sensors with a hand held device. Another person came by and took the sensor from the guy who was working with it for my Jeep and said he'd be right back! The employee apologized to me. Anyway as my Jeep was sitting in the parking lot for sometime, I had to ask if they were going to work on it (only because people coming in after waiting, received service right away), I was then told that I would be next. Finally, my Jeep went into a bay, and I was told that I had two bad sensors in the front. I could have sworn, that at the time, money was no problem and I stated to add all new sensors! Nevertheless, I was approached by a tech, and was told that I would get the two front sensors for free. Then, as soon as I got my Jeep back, the sensor light still appears, and then was told, if the sensor light stays on, to come back! "As if my time is not worth anything"!!! What a complete waste of my time and I'm totally disgusted with my service! I have been coming here for/and spent a lot of money between having four vehicles! I do not think that I will ever come back! I Will also tell everyone about my experience here today! The sad thing is, they have so much business, they could care less about my day! read more

i recently bought 4 new tires and they were all bad had them replaced and i get the car back and they tires have the same problem i have spent alot of money on thease tires and i would just really like my money back i now have to make more time off work to get this taken care of so its costing me more money i just want good quality tire witch i thought i was paying for in the first place i always have thought i would get good tires from discount but i would just like a refund and go some were eles and be done with it . read more
