Hahaha bruh you missed out. I joked to her about you not wanting her help and she laughed about it. She was awesome to work with and was knowledgeable. 4 years with discount and even with her nails she lifted the flat tire out of the back and got her hands dirty. 5 stars for customer service. I watched her get this lady's wheelchair out of the back of her car set it up and help her into it. Then wheeled her into the store and you would have thought this was her grandmother the way they were laughing and how she took care of her. 100% recommend her service if you're in need of some tires or repairs. Brought in a flat tire with a giant screw stuck in it. Got a text from the shop with a link to track the repair. No wondering when it'll be done. Could watch in real time. Sure enough, ding!, service completed notice two minutes before the projected completion time. I was shocked when I picked it up that there was no charge. Apparently plugging flats is a service they perform for free. I had no idea! It makes sense to do that if they sold me the tires, but this was a tire from a new car. I brought both my car and boat trailer to the Discount Tire on Happy Valley Rd & Lake Pleasant Pkwy and spent over $2,400 for new tires all around -- four for my car, four for the trailer, and a spare. For that kind of money, I expected competent service. What I got was anything but. First, the tires on my car were returned covered in greasy mounting paste, and the wheels still had sticky gunk left over from old counterweights. While watching the work being done, I saw the techs using a torque gun carelessly with no regard for protecting the finish on my wheels. Zero attention to detail. Then came the boat trailer. As I walked up to pick it up, I noticed the spare tire mounting nuts lying on the ground -- they hadn't even been installed. It was obvious that nobody double-checked their work. What made things worse was the atmosphere. The employees were joking around, laughing loudly, and not taking their jobs seriously. I even overheard two guys at the front desk openly mocking a customer who had just left. Completely unprofessional. If you care about your vehicle, your time, or your money, I'd avoid this location. Yesterday I parked on the street downtown and when I returned to my vehicle, my tire was flat. This morning I drove over to Discount on the donut I installed yesterday and arrived just after opening at 8am. Without even having an appointment, I was taken care of immediately. My tire had a hole in the sidewall, an automatic replacement. Thankfully with the warranty I had on the tire, the replacement was free. And my service tech, Fernando, seeing I was a repeat customer and had purchased all my tires at Discount in the past and had them all warrantied, waived any kind of service fee for me. Within the hour my tire was replaced, my donut had been returned to my trunk, all the other tires were aired-up, and I was on my way to accomplish my other errands for the day. They left a foot long scratch on my car. I went back to talk to an employee about it and he argued with me that it wasn't them. Apparently I'm a liar. Was told there are no cameras to check, sure. And this is after taking my truck in and them forgetting to put a lug nut back on. If this isnt a picture of a scratch from dragging a tire too close to my car idk what it could possibly be. There's a clear tire rub mark running directly above the 12-14 inch scratch that cuts down to bare metal. read more

I had an issue with a tire that was patched, then replaced when the patch did not hold and within a few days the new tire went flat again. I had some assumptions and was not very pleased and was a bit angry with the service my wife received. However, when I went in and spoke to Jason the manager he went out inspected the tires, figured out what occurred (a simple mistake) and took care of everything in a timely and extremely fair manner. I know nothing is perfect in business or service, but customer service like this goes a very long way for me. Thank you Jason for your character, integrity, and customer service. Discount Tire used to be a great tire source. But like most good things, that changed. Too many of their "technicians" think they are too good to follow proper procedure when working on customer vehicles. Any good mechanic knows that when you reinstall the wheel nuts (lug nuts), you MUST finger start them to ensure proper engagement, before applying a power tool. Their own internal instruction is to start the nut and turn it 3 x with fingers. But these days, too many of their technicians ignore that. The result is that wheel nuts can get cross-threaded (damaged). Then you may not be able to get the wheel off next time it has to be removed. Another of their locations did that to my car and I did not know until a couple months later when I needed to remove wheels for other work. it was cross-threaed so badly, I had to use a big breaker bar and extension pipe to break the stud off. I spent a day off repairing my car because the Discount technician was too lazy to just properly finger start the nuts before putting a power tool on them. I have turned wrenches for 50 years, so I know he felt that as he jammed it down with an impact wrench. And he was content to just say,oh well, not my problem. Fast forward to October 30 2025, I took another vehicle instead to this location on Happy Valley Rd. for new tires. I took my own tools along, as I am not leaving their parking lot until I personally check that my car is not damaged. When they turned the car back over to me, I checked all 20 wheel nuts there in the parking lot, and found 2 of them had been started cross-thread, which damaged the outer thread or two, before he repositioned his impact wrench, and then drove it down properly engaged. But when I removed those 2, they could not be re-started with fingers due to the outer threads now being damaged. At least this time, they had not been cross-threaded all the way down the stud. I showed the mgr, and he said their procedure is to start them with fingers at least 3 turns. That did not happen on my car, or the two would not have been damaged to the point they could not be put back on. Apparently Discount Tire does not make sure their techs are doing it properly every time. So I drove it home with only 3 nuts on that wheel. When I got home, I was able to clean up the threads on one stud with a thread chaser, but had to go to hardware store to buy a die to fix the second one, because is was too damaged for the thread chaseer to handle. This has also happened to my brother's vehicle. Apparently it is now a crap-shoot if your vehicle is going to get damaged when you buy tires at Discount Tire. Here is a clue how much Discount Tire cares......a day or so after I bought these most recent tires, they sent me an email asking for a review on how they did. So I filled it out and sent it back, tellng the same story I told here. Can you guess if they bothered to respond back to me? Nope, complete silence. Like I said earlier, Discount Tire used to be great. You never had to worry if they would do the work properly. I wonder how many vehicles leave their stores with wheel stud damage and the customer has no idea...at least not until they have a flat or otherwise need to remove a wheel and can't. The only reason I found out is because I am a DIY mechanic who works on my vehicles. Edit: So your response at Discount Tire is to give a link to a survey form. The entire parking lot and walking areas are riddled with metal debris that absolutely can puncture tires and is just hazardous in general. When I mentioned it to and asked the gentlemen (Camden) why they don't take care of it, he just acted like they didn't give a crap and said "yeah, it's a constant issue". This place has incredible service! I took my Porsche in before they opened and called to let them know I had a flat tire. A few hours later they called me and let me know they found some metal pieces in the tire and also a screw in another tire. They fixed both tires at no cost and also rotated my tires (previous tire company put them on backwards) I paid a total of $22 with no hidden costs. The only issue is that they are ALWAYS busy. So an emergency is hard to take care of without a wait for an appointment. However, once you have an appointment, they are speedy, fast check-in, clean waiting area, super awesome customer service, like "Dutch Bros happiness in a tire service" kind of feel. Full tire service, fix a flat, rotations, air top off, type of deal. Not all Discount Tires are like this one on Happy Valley. Recently, I had a nail in my tire and needed a same day appointment, went to the Thunderbird location and noticed the difference. Slow service, one person checking everyone in, waiting room felt dirty, & the guy taking my car back rimmed my tire on the curb while backing out. Wow! Incredible service, workmanship, value, trustworthiness...I truly cannot say enough good things about this discount tire! My husbands expensive lifted tire got a nail in it due to his manly hobbies and the tire slowly started leaking. We didn't notice for a while and when we did we weren't sure if it was fixable or needed a new one. We took the car down the street to discount and were immediately greeted in the most enthusiastic way by Awsten who knew exactly how to help us. He was engaging, informative, helpful, and good at his job. He took our info and said he would see if the tire could be repaired and would call us when it was done. Fingers crossed we wandered down the street to kill time and a couple hours later he called and said they were able to fix it and come pick it up. I was sure it would still be pricey, but turns out they fix tires for free!?! What?! Mind blown! Maybe that's just me not knowing the tire repair industry, but I was pleasantly surprised. Starting a few months ago one of my tires kept losing air pressure and I would come here to get it filled up for free. I love that they provide this service. You just pull around and they have a spot for you to pull up and they will check your tires and fill them for free. Every time I've gone there is usually some sort of a line, but it usually moves pretty fast. Well, after the fourth time of my tire losing air in a few months I decided to make an appointment and have them take a closer look. It was a few Saturdays ago and I walked in without an appointment ahead of time and they took my car. A couple hours later it was ready. They have a text system that notifies you when your car is being worked on and when it is done. When I went to get my car they had fixed a small hole/nail that was in my tire for FREE! I don't know of any other car place that fixes that for free. They only ask that when you do need new tires that you come to them. I will for sure! This is for this store only, not Discount Tire as a whole. I made an appointment for a rotation (tires we purchased at this store). We were not able to stay with the car. Last time I did this I got the feeling they didn't rotate the tires so this time I marked a wheel. Less than 30 minutes later we got the text that the car was done. My wife brought it home. I went out and checked and the marked wheel was still where I marked it. The fact they did not rotate the tires as promised really isn't the worst part. How I was treated next is really sad. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I was told by the person on the phone (Austin?) that the manager was not available. He asked what the problem was and I told him. No real apology, his answer was to bring it back and they would rotate them. Apparently this wasn't the first time as he asked if I had marked a wheel and I told him I had. Silence. Never got to speak to a manager. I called corporate and explained what transpired. The gentleman apologized profusely and assured me the store manager, Tom Standish, would contact me within 48 hours. 5 days later and no call from Tom. I did get a voicemail at about 4:30 that afternoon from a Chris which I immediately called back. I asked to speak to Chris and was put on hold. I waited as long as I could and he never picked up the call. The fact that some young person blew off his job didn't bother me as bad as the lack of follow up or even apology from the store. I've been a customer for 36 years with Discount. If you choose to use Discount I would steer clear from this store. Apparently they don't have the integrity to do the job right unless someone is watching them because their managers certainly are not. read more

I have been a customer of Discount Tire for many years. I've always trusted their service--until now. This is my first time doing business at this location. My daughter was in need of two front tires. I bought them online and scheduled the appointment. My daughter had her tires changed on the 5th. She was an appointment during the last hour of the day. Luckily, she works from home so hasn't had to drive too much, but she has driven around, and with my three grandchildren. She noticed her car acting strange and thought it was the brakes. Her friend came to change the brakes today and asked us who put on her tires. He said all the bolts were loose, and had she been traveling longer or at a particular speed, the tires could have come off. He was able to remove them with his hands. I called to speak with the manager this evening, and he told me to take the car in, after the work that should have been done was fixed so that would have been useless. He then offered a fake-sounding apology. When I told him his people put lives in danger and I needed something more than that, he proceeded to raise his voice and yell, "What do you want me to do ma'am!" What I want you to do is explain how this can happen and how you can ensure this doesn't happen again. Your people put my daughter and three grandchildren in danger. Imagine your family being put in that situation. I don't know what is going on in Peoria, but you have a serious issue. I never had these issues with the same businesses in east Mesa or Texas. Brought vehicle in due to slow leak from staple in tire. Dropped off and told employee what was going on and response was " we won't be able to repair that" without even looking at tire. He took keys and said it would be about 20 min before they get to it. I left expecting a call with update on tire, but got a call that it was ready. Arrived to pick up vehicle and tire was repaired. I needed a tire repaired after picking up a nail somewhere. I arrived here just as they were opening and it was crazy busy with a line of people waiting to get checked in so I wasn't too optimistic about getting much help. I got to the counter and spoke to the guy working there. He told me 1-1.5 hours to get it done with the amount of people ahead of me. I had a seat and was quite shocked that the job was done within the promised time. Better still there was no charge for repairing the tire even though I didn't buy it there. All in all I was very impressed with everything and everyone here, especially their ability to handle the volume of work I saw going on that day. Woke up this morning to the unfortunate site of a flat tire on my commuter car. Thankfully I was able to use AAA and get it towed to my local Discount Tire. Omar greeted me and quickly got to work investigating the situation. A lovely bolt in the flat led to me getting all 4 tires replaced including the addition of a spare that was missing from the car. I arrived 15 minutes before opening (7:45am) without an appointment, as I knew they would be busy. They took my name and put me on their list. Within a few minutes of opening their doors I was called upon. I just needed a single tire replaced as it was low and weather cracked and looked unsafe. They notated that one of my tires was slightly oversized however I wasn't too concerned but appreciated the info. I was messaged to pick up my car well before 9am !
