Excellent service. My rear right tire was extremely low compared to all my other tires when I went to discount tire to get air out in free. Because it was so low compared to the others, the attendant recommended I take it in for a free tire inspection. Next morning; I got up to to take it into the shop soon as it opened. I was shocked that it was already packed by the line moved quickly and all of the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The guy walked with me to my car, examined all of my tires, thoroughly explained everything along with my option. Got two tires replaced and will be back in a couple of weeks for them to take care of the other two. Excellent customer service. read more

I always have a good experience at Discount Tire & today was no different. The manager Juan at the 51st Ave & Baseline store was patient & nice when going over prices on four new tires. They got my car done in an hour & even offer alignments at this location. David was so nice when he gave me the keys to my car. He double checked to make sure my spare tire was full. When he saw wiper blades in my trunk still in the box, he offered to put them on for me. He was a master at putting them on fast. It was such a nice touch & surprise. At a really bad time I decided to stop at this location, almost 5 hours just to patch a tire--first and last time I come to this place.

8/4/25: I went to discount tire this morning since I had a messed up tire that was almost dragging on the rim. I scheduled an appointment at 8:15 am and they got me out of there by 9:20 am. I ended up getting three new tires (because the tread on my front two were no good) for a really good price and will be heading back there again for the fourth and to replace my spare soon. Scheduled appointment for 4:30, was told my car could take 45-60 minutes to complete a tire balance and rotation! The young man explained that this was quicker than a walk in and the website indicates the apt time is 30% quicker and outlines the wait time with an apt. I could not locate any information noting this. Even doctors offices which are dealing with humans, don't overbook to have patients wait up to 45 minutes, restaurants, hair services, ect. . I left work early for this Scheduled appointment. What's the point to just sit here. Also, your employees or customer should be able to find the information about wait times for a Scheduled appoinment. Think about a customers time, not booking so many vehicles to make a customer wait! Do better DT, Scheduled times should be just that, just like all Scheduled services. read more

Took my car in for an inspection at a nearby shop and was told that I have a nail in my tire that would be unrepairable, thus needing a new tire, actually not 1, but 2 new tires for "proper balance". I was quoted roughly $300 for 2 tires. Skeptical, because the tires are relatively new, I decided to schedule an appointment with Discount Tire for the following day. The time I needed was available and I went ahead and purchased 1 tire ahead of my visit to ensure it would be in stock and to avoid any delays. Arrived at my appointment time and was told it would be about an hour. An hour later, I received a text that the car was ready to go. The best part about all this was the service, they took the time to check the tire and repaired what was needed - no extra cost, no tires needed. Went to the Chandler facility on 1/13/25 for a tire rotation, was told they needed to do an inspection, which I never had before with a rotation, so OK inspect. They came back and said my wiper blades needed to be replaced, funny thing, they were replaced by Costco 3 days prior, so when I called them out on being dishonest, they didn't know what to say. I filled out a complaint and was told someone would contact me naturally no one did because they know they got caught. My only complaint was how the associate at the Camelback and 20th street location tried to treat me like an idiot. I told him I did not need the tire replacement program because I already had one through the dealership. He ignored me, added it anyway thinking I wasn't going to notice then when I called him on it he was speechless and was like oh OK I'll take it off. Why did you add it in the first place? That was very, very unethical and I will not go back there because if they cannot respect my wishes, I don't feel like I should be spending money with them. I understand times are hard but that does not make it OK for you to cheat your customers out of money for services that they do not need. I've always used DT since moving here over 20 years ago. where ever i moved, i would go the the nearby DT for my car needs. This is the first time I have felt duped and disrespected. I procrastinated on fixing my tire for weeks and eventually I made an appointment. Coming to discount tire made me regret not doing it faster after seeing how easy the whole process was. I made the appointment online, parked, checked in and then proceeded to wait inside. I was greeted shortly afterwards and I was amazed at how good the service was. Communication was great and I got updates via text. My tire repair was free but I can guarantee they've earned a future costumer and when the time comes to change my tires I will be returning here. My house is currently under a small remodel. As I drove away this morning I had a notification from my car that I had low tire pressure. Turns out, there is a nail in the tire. Thankfully we were close to Discount tire. We called and they said we could bring it in at 3:45pm. Instead we drove in at 12:45 and went to a nearby restaurant. The tire was fixed by 2:30. We cut our happy hour short, called a "cab" and showed up. It was a shocking surprise that they do free tire rotations and plugged our nail puncture. Free. Obviously the value was priceless and the discount was very unexpected. They provided a great service and we will return to them in the future. read more

I've been coming to this location for 20+ years and have never been disappointed! The service is always excellent and timely. Unfortunately, I've had to get 5 new tires )on separate occasions) in the past 3 months. My tires are not a tire that is stocked here BUT, each time, it's always just a matter of hours before they get them here and I'm in and out despite them being packed with other customers! The lobby is cool, clean and comfortable with plenty of seating. There have been times that I show up on a weekend an hour before they open and there's still a line outside yet, they manage to address each and every customer as if they're the only one there. HUGE shout out to PRESTON who helped me this visit. He had been helping me yesterday evening, ordered my tire for me just before closing and called me this morning as soon as it arrived. When I arrived, he was not available so, I had someone else help me yet, as soon as he saw me, he was attentive and made sure that things were flowing and saw the transaction through. I mention this because sometimes a customer can feel left behind in such a busy environment but this has never been my experience here. Got my last set of tires here. Called to make an appointment... always so pleasant on the phone. Set up an appointment time of 4:30 pm. Showed up on time and gave my info and was told to sit inside and wait to be called. At 4:55pm I was called... had my tires pre ordered and I paid for everything. Said I'll be next door for some food. He said about :45 mins. I kept looking at the progress on my phone. Knowing they close at 6 pm... I came back over 5:50pm. Sat and waited. I finally went up and asked... oh.. it's just being pulled into the bin. Geez.. really? I understand you guys are extremely busy... you have a great product. But why give me a 4:30 appointment... if you honestly know my car won't be touched until 6. Once it was in there.. it only took 10 mins to put 4 tires on. Fantastic. I had scheduled an appointment the day before at 9am and I arrived early and my car was in around that time (it helps to arrive a bit early) Staff is fully aware of the people standing around outside and very courteous. There are also plenty of seats inside and outside and the only thing that's not happening is The seats are not being sanitize between people and when they are looking for someone, they only announce the name out indoors and don't really look for the people that are waiting outside. Other than that, they are doing an excellent job. There was a closer discount tire on Camelback right off the I-17hwy, but I drove the distance to 18th St. and camelback. They are most friendly. If you have to wait awhile, you can walk across the street to the mall which has FIVE BELOW fave store. Bed bath and beyond, Marshall's, Lens Crafters, Floor & Decor, The vitamin Shoppe and Cafe Zupas... Having all four tires changed; under an hour. Great Work! I just also want to point out that if you have asthma and there's someone outside smoking, Arizona smoke-free act requires them to be 20 feet from not just the door, but from the building and when I inform them of the smoker I had to take it upon myself to ask the guy smoking to smoke somewhere else because it was effecting my ability to breathe. We are still in a global pandemic and there's been studies that say if someone is possibly asymptomatic that it is possible that someone breathing in the second hand smoke could get sick and no face mask is going to protect someone from that. read more

Definitely NOT dedicated to driver safety. I've been a customer for many years and have bought all of my tires with DT for as far back that I can remember. That apparently means nothing to them. In Summer 2021 I had a flat tire and at that time, DT agreed to replace 3 of my tires under the existing shop warranty because the tread was worn down abnormally early for some reason. However, they wouldn't agree to replace (i.e. pay for) the fourth tire to be replaced. Instead they told me that I could drive on 3 new Continentals and 1old remaining Pirelli. They wouldn't replace that last Pirelli because it hadn't worn down quite enough yet for them. I asked them: "are you sure it's safe?" I was assured by the then manager that it was perfectly safe. Well... guess what? Uh-uh. A year later and 2-3 courtesy tire rotations (all by Discount Tire) later (where not ONE DT employee suggested I replace that last Pirelli), I have a blow out on the freeway. I heard the pop. It was like a very loud balloon popping. I was "only" on a tall overpass, maybe 3 stories high going about 65mph on the freeway, what could go wrong? Well... lucky for Discount Tires, nothing bad happened, because if it had, I'd have sued them. Blowouts are nothing to play with. And, yes, it was that Pirelli tire that popped on me. Later when I call them to get some answers, I get a giant corporate whitewash spiel about how they're "dedicated to safety." What a jerk off and a joke. They let me drive around with different tires on the car, and also rotated those tires multiple times never once suggesting it might be unsafe, then I have a blow out on the freeway. As far as I'm concerned, I'll never trust this company again when it comes to safety. (They also frequently leave your car unlocked in their lot after working on it and you have to remind them EVERY time to lock your car -- the idiocy of it is beyond me.) The most important thing I'll always remember is that they let me drive with an unsafe car for about a year to save themselves a few bucks. read more

I made a mistake. I usually buy tires from Discount, have for years. Recently my BMW was at Chapman for service and they recommended replacing tires. So they did: at a significant price. Well, last week I had a slow leak in one tire, went to Chapman, they said we don't fix tires, even if we sold them to you. Your only choice is to buy a new tire. I left and drove down to DISCOUNT where they found a nail in my tire and fixed it NO CHARGE!!! That's real customer service, playing the long game so to speak. I came in to the E Camelback store to get air in my tires (which I bought this year from them). I walked into the store about 4:40 PM on June 12. I was the only customer waiting to be served by the 4 people behind the counter. Not a single person raised their head to acknowledge me. I got no eye contact or smile. No one bothered to say I'll be right with you. It was as though I was invisible. They just stood there plunking away on a computer with their heads down. So I stood there for several more minutes and then walked up the counter and asked if I was in the right place, the person grumbled instructions to get behind the line. I waited longer. When someone finally did help me, I was treated as though I was a pain in the neck. What happened to Discount tire? It was an unpleasant experience and I think I'll be going to Costco in the future. read more

Sadly having an appointment doesn't mean much. In my experience it will still take 45 minutes to get your car in to be serviced. And having to leave after waiting for 45 minutes to get nothing done, because it wasn't communicated that you would have to wait longer than an hour for your car to be done is not just frustrating, it's just bad service. read more

The place was trashed, and under construction. lots of people waiting for there tires to get installed and it was hot in there. The guy at the register that assisted me was rude and not very helpfull, also did not have any tires in stock. I ended up calling AAA to have my car that was in there parking lot towed to my mazda dealership, and having there great customer service install 4 new tires. This discount tire is a scam and rude for someone that just lost a tire. and to think I thought this was a good place to go to get a tire.. silly me. just goto your dealership. much better service. read more

I've been here three times, twice with high-value vehicles. Everything went as it should have. I don't care much for the lobby wait. I had to wait in a walk-in line during a prior visit and then watched awalk-in customers being called in front of me when I had an appointment. That should be fixed. I'm good to wait in the walk-in line behind appointment traffic, but that needs to be consistent. I like this location compared to Indian School because the tire check line doesn't trap you in the parking lot for 20 minutes. Overall, very friendly staff, great work and zero damage to my cars. Everything started well until it was time to pick my car up. I had a tire inspection appointment and Jonathon was great helping us out. When it came to pick up it went down hill. I got in line to wait as the employees were all busy. But then when some weren't busy one I believe I saw the name Justin on his shirt was dropping F bombs about one of his coworkers. He was explaining not quietly to the other guy also not with a customer about his "beef" with his coworker. So after about 4 minutes I had been in there about 10, I finally get acknowledged. I tell him I'm here to pick my car up. The guy who I believe was Justin hands me my keys, the receipt, and proceeds to tell me if my car isn't in the lot then it over two lots down. He picks up the phone and starts talking to someone about his "beef". I didn't get a chance to ask him what they found as the receipt didn't tell me much. Finding my car was a nightmare as no one gave any real directions. I finally find my car and they had left my tailgate open. It was down but open. I did a quick check and nothing seemed to be missing. But will not be going back to this discount tire. Do not recommend as their customer service was trash. read more

Left an appt and someone flagged me stating that my tire looked flat. I drove immediately to discount and was greeted right away and the gentleman in the outdoor air pump lane stated that the tire was too low and had a nail in it. They took the time to find a tire for my 2006 Toyota (knowing I don't drive it often and wasn't looking for a crazy expensive set). They were efficient, friendly, and took time to listen to my concerns. I love this company and what it stands for. Each customer matters to them and it shows as you watch them work! I don't think I've ever left a review before but I have came to this location around 10 times and every time they take care of me.

I have been a Firestone customer for years and I never knew what customer service was until coming to this Discount Tire. I came to get some air in my tire and was advised there was a nail in it but should be repairable. I called 5 different Firestones to use my warranty and only one location was willing to help but it required me to drive quite a distance. I had no idea Discount Tire repaired tires for free. They encouraged me to come back and they would have me driving safely in no time. They were fast and thorough. They told me it would be about 85 minutes and it took 40. When my car was ready, one of the Assistant Managers, Alex Martin, assured me I was safe, explained their repair process AND what separates them from Firestone. Needless to say, he and the whole crew made a new fan out of me. I'll be using them going forward. read more
