My wife's car had a "low tire pressure" notice. My friends recommended going through the drive-through service to get air (which is free and took no time at all). Only one tire was low, the rest had ideal pressure, and so I had them take a look in case there was a leak or a tear. They looked at it in the timeline they promised and it turned out a screw had lodged in the tire, creating a hole. Instead of trying to sell me a new tire, Jasper patched it and told me it was good as new - no need to replace. The bill for all of this was zero. After my 5th visit in 8 days, I cannot recommend anyone go to this location. I hate to say it because the staff up front are nice, but the techs are so, so bad. I don't think they have any idea what they're doing and they all need to be fired. They messed up patching my $350 tire so the tire went flat in my garage. I then had to get my car towed to their shop because of their mistake. They offered to buy me a new tire which is good, but somehow, and I genuinely do not understand how this possible, and it's difficult to explain, they put the new tire on the WRONG side. They replaced a totally fine tire that was only a month old. How can the techs be stupid? It doesn't make sense. The other side wasn't flat. The flat tire is clearly visible. Then the tech fill up the flat tire and called it good. I don't understand the logic behind the techs actions. How can someone be so stupid? Fire your techs. I will NEVER go back to location. Discount Tire has lost my business and I will buy $1400 tires from someone else next time. read more

This location is awesome! Came here initially to replace a tire after I ran over a bolt (darn you Phoenix construction) and had it changed quickly. There was a warranty for the life of the tire, whether flat or whatever! If that isn't great, I don't know what is. I always come here for my regular tire pressure check. The workers here are fast and efficient. They do rotations and pressure checks for free. Discount Tire ensures me to feel safe with the tires on my car and keep their maintenance up to date. The prices are also low as they also do price matching. Overall great! Getting into the location is a bit painful especially during rush hour on Camelback. read more

A less than acceptable encounter at the store on Thomas lead me to coming into this location to fix what Chip did wrong at the Thomas store. This location actually has organized parking and friendly staff. Kalvin did a great job of processing the road hazard warranty for a damaged tire and fixing the incorrect charges for a different manufacturer tire that I had no other option other than to purchase in order to get my car out of the Thomas location. Service was quick, and typical of most discount tire locations, this is why we have exclusively used them for 25+ years and in the last 2 years spent $6K+ on tires for all of our cars. Thomas location needs some training from good locations on how to take care of customers. read more

I went to discount tire shop to have my tire patched up. I told them how much is it and they said it's free service we offer. I was helped by Connor and very helpful guy. I told them if they can rotate my tires and how much. They said that is free service we offer too. I said my tire has a nail and to rotate my tires. It took about 45 minutes and I lit was done. I think this Discount Tire may be the busiest tire company ever - for good reason. Sometimes it's hard (impossible) to even park. However, their prices are great, and if you make an appointment in advance, you're usually in and out in under an hour. Without an appointment, you might be waiting awhile. Check online at least a week in advance to make sure you get an appointment! The staff are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I enjoy watching them do their thing when waiting for my car. I've gotten a new set of tires here for under $500, and they sent a reminder when it was time for a free rotate and balance. They provide free air checks in the parking lot. They've fixed leaks for me (for free) as well. The lounge is fairly basic - hard plastic chairs, magazines and music overhead. A flat tire is always a bummer, especially if you're like me and you are allergic to car maintenance...even putting gas in it. I have had my share of flat tires, being from the pothole riddled city of Detroit - then recently driving around the horribly warped streets of Jackson, MS. I feel like I know more than I'm comfortable with knowing about tire repair. I woke up this morning to a completely flat tire. Luckily this Discount Tire location is right up the street from me. I arrived about an hour before closing. There were several customers ahead of me, but these folks managed to fit me in. I enjoyed great customer service and light conversation with the gentleman who checked me in. The wait wasn't long at all. The best part of my experience was...they fixed my tire FREE OF CHARGE! I imagine all they did was bend the rim, fixing the gap and filled the tire with air. Probably something they do as often as I put on lipgloss. But, surely I expected to pay for the labor. Prior to considering Discount Tire, I had already had a great experience with them patching my tire for FREE. Despite being a new walk-in, I was able to get my tire evaluated/patched in a reasonable amount of time. What's nice is that they give you a conservative estimated time to completion so you can decide if you can commit the time to wait around. Jason also informed me that my tires were getting to the end of their tread (which I had already known from a previous service with a Toyota Dealership). Shopped around online, and got a few quotes from other local stores before settling on Discount Tire. Given my previous experience, their willingness to price match both local and online vendors, the number of locations they have in the valley and across the country, and their guarantee behind the the tires they sell, there was little reason to go with another store. Jason had originally helped me with single tire patch, and I'm thankful he was involved in working with me to find me a complete set of tires. He was professional, and I always felt like he was listening to my questions an concerns. I've been a loyal customer since 1999 at the Tatum and Bell location, and I've used the other locations. However, I've never varied from their tire centers. Over the past year, I have been extremely disappointed with the service.,i.e I have made two online appointments, upon arrival, to find out my appointment wasn't in the system. In addition, last month, I went in with a nail in my wifes Rav4 sidewall. The GM Richard said that I should replace the other front tire. Are you kidding me! The mileage on the tire was only a year old. So today, I had a scheduled appointment at 1 pm. for the tire that I ordered on Friday. The price was quoted, and I accepted it. The price was $462, okay It's a run flat tire for a corvette. When I went to pay for the service, it was now over $600,as they added on a $92 tire replacement fee. What happened to the old GM Ti? Quick backstory I went to Discount Tire on Camelback back in July thinking I needed a replacement tire due to a flat. Ended up my tire just needed a patch. They didn't even charge me! My day was saved. Discount Tire could have told me I needed a tire replacement and I would have believed them but they didn't. Wow! An honest & professional establishment. What a shocker. No upsells, no drama, no broken promises. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I really needed a tire replacement due to a rip in my tire beyond repair and it was a no-brainer to head back to Discount Tire on Camelback. My customer experience was flawless from the moment I walked in the door working w/Moe (Assistant Mgr) and Adam (Sr Assistant Mgr) until the end. It is freaking 115 degrees out there and they are just so pleasant to work with while they work so hard in this heat. So efficient. Everything started well until it was time to pick my car up. I had a tire inspection appointment and Jonathon was great helping us out. When it came to pick up it went down hill. I got in line to wait as the employees were all busy. But then when some weren't busy one I believe I saw the name Justin on his shirt was dropping F bombs about one of his coworkers. He was explaining not quietly to the other guy also not with a customer about his "beef" with his coworker. So after about 4 minutes I had been in there about 10, I finally get acknowledged. I tell him I'm here to pick my car up. The guy who I believe was Justin hands me my keys, the receipt, and proceeds to tell me if my car isn't in the lot then it over two lots down. He picks up the phone and starts talking to someone about his "beef". I didn't get a chance to ask him what they found as the receipt didn't tell me much. Finding my car was a nightmare as no one gave any real directions. I finally find my car and they had left my tailgate open. It was down but open. I did a quick check and nothing seemed to be missing. But will not be going back to this discount tire. Do not recommend as their customer service was trash. read more

I have been a customer of Discount for over 40 years. Lately, their service is horrible. I had an appointment for a rotation. Found out I couldn't make it, and had to reschedule. Was told I had no appointment and rescheduled. Got there 15 minutes early and was told about an hour wait. Told appointments are not when the work gets done, but the time you start waiting, behind everyone else including the walk-ins. I left and on the way out, they asked if I wanted another appointment. I said what for. An appointment to begin waiting? Called corporate customer service, and they defended to wait after arriving for an appointment. Asked if I wanted the store manager to call me, and I said yes. Well, as expected, silence from the store manager. Awhile ago I bought chrome wheels for my Mustang. When they were on, they hit the tie rods while turning. Obviously the wrong size. The salesman tried to claim that Ford built the brand new Mustang crooked. Yeah, right. Okay. Four stars is relative. Price great, turn around time phenomenal. I took my son's hooptie in for two tires. By the time I could walk down the street for something to drink, it was DONE! But that's only half the story: they have to work (quite a bit) on their customer interactions. When I walked in, three guys in red shirts were doing various tasks, but none of them greeted customers walking in the door. I stood alone in the line for several minutes before anyone even greeted me. As soon as I walked back, there was NO ONE in the lobby so another several minute wait for assistance.
