I called them in the morning and a very pleasant guy answered the phone. I asked if they do free air pressure check and he told me very nicely that they do and gave me clear directions on where to go, to the back of the building. He even warned me that there would be a line. I did what was told and the wait was short as the attendant was super efficient. Mind you, it was a very cold day and I felt back for him. I had just left Stonebriar Chevrolet after being brushed off because they were ready to wrap up at 3:30 pm with no one in front of me. Came in for left front tire thinking I saw a screw but it was actually only a nail and had not punctured the tire. They ended up checking all of the other tires while it was up on the racks and found an actual screw in the back right tire. They were able to fix it at no charge since we had purchased the tires there. If you are in the market for a new set of tires or need a tire repair, I highly recommend Discount Tire on 121/Custer. I first contacted this store location to confirm my tire replacement appointment. It was disappointed to learned that only 2 of the 4 tires in my web order made it to the store but I was not notified. Had I not called the store, I would have arrived at my original appointment to find out the problem. I talked to Zach and expressed my surprise and frustration. He took action quickly and order the 2 missing tires and scheduled my appointment a few days later. Zach was extremely helpful and he happened to be the one greeting me when I arrived the store. Discount Tire has been my go-to tire store for over almost 20 years now. This location at the southwest corner of SH 121 and Custer is closest to my home, and is probably what I'd call "medium" in size, but is meticulously clean on the inside and provides both standard seating and a bar overlooking the service bay with stools if you want to bring your laptop or lunch (as I did). They provide complimentary bottled water while you wait. One downside to the entire chain is that wifi service is not offered; it seems that this would be an ideal place for it, as the waits are often an hour or more. Still, Discount Tire will get you fixed up in a professional manner every time. read more

I came to this store at 9:50 AM and they are not done until 12:40 PM just replacing 2 front tires. They had my tires in stock and did not have to go to other stores to get them. Went on a Saturday and of course I thought I'd be there ALL DAY, but I wasn't. I was immediately checked in upon arrival, sold 2 new tires (boooo) and was on my way within 45 mins. I noticed all staff were nice and attentive to everyone even if there was a small line in the lobby, and I also appreciated that they guaranteed my car would be fixed the same day (over the phone) as long as I brought it in before 5. I've used this location a couple times since moving into the area. This particular store gets busy very fast on weekends. I once got here 5 minutes after opening and was already 15th in line to be helped. I have had off the vehicle flat repairs done here and I had them install new tpms sensors on my car for a reasonable fee. I brought in my own sensors that I had purchased online and they installed them. The bad.. it's a busy location so be prepared to wait or have a ride available (I usually just take a Lyft back home). When they did my TPMS sensors they left the valve stem cap off one of the tires.. odd. So I had to drive back to the store but they did give me a bunch of replacements. read more

This is my favorite discount tire in the area. I have since moved about 30 minutes away but I will still drive back to this specific store because they've always been nice, offered great deals and had all around great customer service. I've been to other discounts who told me I needed 4 new tires to come here and have them tell me "no you have a good year or two left". Got my tire rotation here and stop by occasionally to get my tire air checked. Generally they get the job done with no problems. The tire rotation itself takes like 15-20 minutes but of course you have to wait in line so you'll end up waiting over an hour. There's free water and some magazines inside. I had a very bad experience at this location today. Normally, the service was very good, but this time, it was not. My appointment was at 9am, but the staff did nothing with my car until 9:20. They took my car and i checked back to see at 9:35 and someone was rummaging around in my trunk! They also went through all of the compartments inside my car and left it all jumbled up! I knew this because i went to check on my car after that. Everything was out of place- including some of the masks i had. I thought that something was strange, so I waited until he came back inside to ask when my car will be finished with a tire rotation. He told me not too long. The service finished in about 10 minutes. I waited since 9:00am for this and i got a poor quality service with my car searched through. They quoted me the tire and said they would confirm a price on the rim and get back to me. 5 days later I call the store and the person said yes we order the tire and rim for you. Call you when it arrives. 3 days later I call again and get the manager. He tells me they can't get a rim they are not a distributor of that rim. We did order a tire. I always go to Discount Tire for any of my tire needs. They have the best selection of tires at great prices. If the tires are not available the same day, they usually have them available within a couple of days. I used to go to Costco a lot for tires, but lately they haven't had as good of a tire selection for me. Their website is easy to navigate and shows a lot of details for each tire they carry, so you can easily compare speed ratings and UTQG numbers for each tire. The on-line reservation system is pain-free and convenient. I scheduled an appointment two days in advance, and I was taken care of promptly upon arrival. In addition to the lifetime balancing/rotating, they will also repair tires for FREE on other cars you own that haven't been to Discount Tire. Always had great service here. Others have pointed out long lines and people having to answer the phone - that's part of why they're so cheap, they run a very minimal staff. Their website even lets you check inventory status on tires at each store, which is helpful when you know exactly what tire you want. This location, along with the one on Ohio, are general go-to; this one is close to home: the Ohio location is on my way to/from work. In over 15 years of using various Discount locations, I've only had one bad experience (wrong tires installed) - and it was handed immediately by management. They quoted me for a set of tires this morning and made an appointment as well, but when l get there they stated l was quoted an amount for a different size in which my understanding was zero because you pulled me up in the system for the same car previously.
