Went there with a nail in a tire with a slow leak . They were absolutely as nice as as pleasant as possible . Ultimately the nail was too close to the sidewalk to patch so I had to have them replace the tire. They were fast and VERY REASONABLE. Friendly staff, huge amount of inventory judging from the height and aisle of tires behind the work bays. Prices are fair with excellent road hazard plan, must read up on it. Very pleased with the service received. Initially, the tech forgot to mount new TPMS and we had to park it (didn't leave the lot). No problem, they took care of it right away, they even cleaned the glove prints and shined the tires afterwards; that was a pleasant surprise and definitely is a step above their competition. This is the type of tire store that every other one out there should look up to. I have always read good things about DT, so I ordered some tires and rims from them, brought them over for installation/tpms/balancing, and even though I arrived 15 prior to them closing, they were friendly and courteous. Small details like the staff holding the door open for customers for example is a sign of customer attention. Prices were as explained over the phone, and no surprises were found when being rung up for the total. A clean and bright customer area has a window looking into the bays where the work is done on cars. All the staff looked educated, clean and I never worried about what was being done to my car. I never had the urge to hover around them to remind them not to over torque the lug nuts with an air gun for example...things that most places I've been to, don't care about, and mess up even simple tasks. Overall, a great experience (even though we are talking about tires), will only recommend DT to people looking for tires/rims, and the great things I've heard lived up and exceeded my expectation. I've been coming to this DT for the last five years - I've bought several sets of rims and tires from them for our vehicles and will only purchase them from these guys. They are experts on tires and wheels and will give good advise but don't try to upcharge. Very good selection and prices. The facility is clean, and the employees take good care of your vehicle. The waiting area has a big window to the garage bay so you can watch your vehicle being worked on. There are a lot of customers, so it is best to make a reservation. read more

I had intended to buy 4 tires at Tire Kingdom in a buy 2 get 2 "sale" but after realizing I would have to pay $170 for a "value package," and that the price would be more than full retail price, I went to this Discount Tire store on SR 16 near I-95. I had been here before to have them check my air, and they were always great. I knew the tires I wanted, Discount Tires ordered them that day and I had an appointment for 4:00 PM on a Monday. The place was very busy and they did not start on my car until 4:40. I do not think they have enough people working there, but EVERYONE was professional, courteous, answered all my questions. They have clean restrooms. They were totally awesome. I was there about 90 minutes, which is why I debated rating them 4 stars, but everyone was working their tails off and people just kept coming in, even though there was no sale on. They close at 6, a lady came in at 5:45 and they said they would stay over and get her tires done that evening. They broke off a piece of plastic on my plastic wheel cover so the cover would not stay on. Now mind you, the thing is plastic and 12 years old, so I imagine it was pretty brittle. The tech brought it in and apologized that it had broken. He said another wheel cover was missing. I believe the other wheel cover was still there that morning and I said so. It might have fallen off that day, I honestly don't know. But here is why I rated them 5 stars: Louis at the desk said he would order 2 wheel covers for me at no charge and call me when they came in. Now THAT is outstanding customer service! I might also add that my total was $50 less than the "sale" price at Tire Kingdom for the same 4 tires, and I am getting a $75 rebate Visa card, meaning I am saving $125 over Tire Kingdom's "sale" price. I have bought four sets of tires this year from the Saint Augustine Discount Tire outlet. Installation was fine for all four sets. For the most recent set, I was told on Saturday to come in Monday morning - they had no installations lined up. I went in, waited nearly an hour to be told it might be another hour (two more appointments were put in front of me before they could get to me) before they could even start. I had other plans for the time, so had to leave - 2-1/2 hours wasted plus a 25 mile round trip. They told me they had to service their appointments! Since there was no mention of an appointment when I spoke with them Saturday, I simply had to wait - or come back. I went back the Tuesday and spent a reasonable time waiting for the installation - this time I had an appointment. When I said I was not satisfied, their desk person asked me if I was upset because they were busy! Might as well have spit on me while he was saying it. Needless to say, not going back. read more

Not only did they fix my tire but they did not charge me. Please note I DID NOT purchase my tires from them (my car is brand new). Went in this location to get pricing on 4 tires. Only 2 others in the lobby at the time. No one was available to address our needs, so after waiting about 20 minutes, we walked out. Door shut behind us and the Tech actually came RUNNING out asking how he could help us. Then, he suggested a payment plan, which I thought was weird, and started talking about what kind of tires he thought we should purchase. We had the cash in hand, but after learning the tires WE wanted weren't in stock, decided against ordering them. Husband decided he'd look elsewhere because the wait just to speak with someone that day, when they weren't even busy, was unacceptable. Two days later, nail in my car tire. Benefit of the doubt, I went back to this same store. Again with the waiting...about 15 minutes this time, until a young kid finally asked me how he could help. He said it'd be an hour wait, which would have been 6pm before they could even get the car in for review. They close @ 6. Guy said it wasn't leaking too bad & scheduled my appointment for the following morning @ 10:15. I had to work, so my husband took the car in, which he wasn't too happy about in the first place, but it was close to my home, so I chose to use this store only out of convenience. He arrived on time for the give appointment time. Almost 11am before they FINALLY pulled the car into the bay. Now, it's after 11 and my husband is still waiting. Store is understaffed and, they've proven to both of us, they do not respect, or appreciate, a customer's time and/or money. Not only did they lose a pretty good sale, almost 2k in tires, they lost any future business from us.
