To me, this interaction felt untrustworthy. He also used jargon unnecessarily to make it sound more complicated than it is, something any reputable mechanic shop should avoid. The labor to replace the sensor is typically 5-10 minutes, and the part can be purchased OEM (Nissan factory) for ~$230-$250. My advice: get a second opinion or buy the part yourself to save hundreds of dollars.

My service advisor Sonya recommended Ford's Garage restaurant for Lunch & I was able to walk the short distance there. By the time I finished my lunch, I received a call that my truck was ready. I was back on the road in less than an hour. I believe that they washed the truck too. Full Synthetic (7 quarts) was $106. Great service & Sonya was knowledgeable & friendly.
