    I Called Firestone St. Augustine on 57 San Marco Ave on October 5th to inquire about tire prices. The Man told the last tires I purchased two years ago were 700.00 but now they are 900.00! I told him thats too much and my budget was 5 to 600.00. He started looking and told me he'd call back. He didn't! Tires 900.00 last 2 year's? Ha! I purchased tires elsewhere 80.00 a tire great ratings. 327. For 4. I called Firestone back and made an install appointment for the 10th of October at 11am. I showed up for my appointment a nice gentleman with a mustache asked me to please make another appointment for Friday and they'll get it done in 1.5 hours and he'd give me a discount for my trouble. Ok 9am appointment Friday. Friday at 8: 45. I walk in a another guy is there. Big 6'5 6'6 not friendly at told him my situation and what the other gentleman told me. He "A discount!" I don't know about that! Then said he'd call me when my vehicle was done. I responded I was told 1.5 hours. He didn't respond. 1st Rude hap. I went for a walk and came back at 10:22. Mr rude sees me and says there's still 2 ticks ahead of you what do you want to do? What a question a? Don't you already know I think to myself, I said my tires installed and why are you trying to get rid of me? No response again. 2nd rude. The rest below is the appalling outcome! And all I have received from Firestone and Bridgestone support i generic responses! Please read and enjoy! This happened on Friday the 14th of October a disgrace to the St Augustine business community. My experience at Firestone St Augustine today: Hello in brief because the St Augustine, San Marco store wasted 5.5 hours of my time today then I was called a b__ch by some ignorant goof in an old navy shirt that was sitting behind the counter taking with the crew. On Tuesday I had an appointment at said location when I arrived and checked in I was told to come back Friday because workers called in sick and I would receive a discount. I just returned home after a 5 hour wait at a 845am appointment. the vehicle was finished I paid and when I started my vehicle the air light was on. After So I stopped and started the vehicle several times to see if it would resolve but it didn't. After this extra long wait I was a bit annoyed so I went back in and told them and said "its ok though I'll do it myself to avoid another 5 hour wait. So I was then pursued by 2 people the rude manager and the jerk with the old navy shirt. The manager ran up to my moving vehicle and was pounding on my windows. When I got a chance to roll it down I told him to get the f away from me, he then returned to the driver window and told me to never return to this facility again. The jerk on the passenger side with the old navy shirt on told me the same "never come back here" with a very insane look on his face. Now one each side of my vehicle standing close intimidating me I couldn't move.. I kept telling them to get out of my face but they would not. So I said b__ch get out of my face figured that might do it. That did it they backed off. That's when the idiot in the old navy shirt called me a b__ch. Wow! A worker and a manager calling customers a b__ch and intimidating me.. By the way I was told 1.5 to 2 hours to get tires mounted. I was there from 8:45am till 2: 20pm. At 10 I was told I was 2 tickets away from being done , I sat and watched 5 tickets completed and it took another 4 hours to be completed all because I didn't buy my tires there. Talked to other customers while waiting that came in after me who's jobs were completed before mine 12 o'clock appointment. Thanks Firestone for your friendly experience and your representative calling me a b__ch. By the way not once did anyone say sorry for your wait. But the workers did stand around and talk to customers for 20 minutes at a time. No wonder why no work gets done. By the way tell the ugly goof ball in the old navy shirt that called me a b__ch that the light didn't go out and yes I finished their job in 5 min. This old navy sheep dog called me a bitch twice. Little men trying to intimidate a 65 year old dude because of their unprofessionalism. This is the end of 30 years of my wife and my firey firestone business. We'll tell oh alot of people about this one! Thanks ugly old navy dude! Wasted words on these idiots parts. I wouldn't ever return Anyway, would you? Not part of their idiot club! What should have been done in a real business: Call customer immediately apologize for their wait. (Don't run after them and beat on their vehicle) Tell them their light should go out in a mile or two. Tell them we value your business and please come back, Situation resolved and defused. But no I guarantee you this manager has a routine of being stupid! They like bait people so they get out then they call the Police. Plus the light didn't go out the right front time had 32 pounds instead of 36 I finished it at home.. The good reviews below are staff added

    I found out that I had a flat tire at 5am this morning. Had to bring family to Tampa and decided to…read morebe at Mavis at 7.30 am. They open up at 8. The "manager" was there and after explaining it was a bit of an emergency he said, my guys will be here at 8". No problem, I will wait. They took my car on the lift at 8.05 and started working on the flat tire. So I thought. At 8.45 I look in the workshop and the hood is open. A mechanic is checking the front brakes etc etc. I ask why the hood is open for a flat tire? "We always do a multi point inspection sir!" So I asked if I gave them permission to do this as my car just had a full service of 800$ at my dealer one week ago. The front desk told me that this is State regulation. What???????? There is only one person that gives you permission to open up the hood for an inspection and that's me! What a bullsh!t nonsense. When I said you only do this to upsell me things I don't need they became angry. Well so did I......... very angry. I told you I was in a hurry and you just wasted 45 minutes without telling me. Another customer came in and he was told they would do the inspection. The guy laughed and said, no way (as well) When I (once again) spoke to the front desk guy and told him I was not pleased he pissed the payslip under my nose and did not want to talk to me anymore. That made me even more angrier so the manager threw me out! I went to Mavis with 3 of my cars since they opened up in St Augustine. They never did this in the beginning. They lost a good customer for ever!!!!!!!!! By the way their hourly rate for a mechanic is 158$ per hour. You better realize this! This is close to what a consultant charges per hour! I HAVE to give one star, but none would the best here. UPDATE: I FOUND OUT 3 HOURS LATER THAT THE TIRE IS STILL LEAKING. My advice, avoid the place at any time! LAST UPDATE (I promise) I called Discount Tire on the 16 in St Augustine. I could come bevrucht away. Arrived and was shocked. Min 50 customers, full workshop. Iff course...... they are next to the I95 on the Saturday after Christmas! I thought, this will cost me the rest of the day. Very, very friendly staff. And honest. Within 20 min the technician called my name. He's ready. Huh? Yep, there was a hole in the center of the tire. Easy repair. So Mavis screwed this one up completely! I got ready to pay and thanked him for the quick service. No need.... It's free. Excuse me? No not charge for this. Unbelievable. So I tipped the guy 20$ and left as a happy bloke. Guess who will do my tire stuff from now and won't? Exactly!

    Made an appointment to have my oil changed at Mavis. I left my car and told them to call me when…read moreready. They called me an hour later. I missed the call so I returned to them thinking they were calling to tell me my car was ready. Wow was I wrong!! I returned to find my car on the lift w/all 4 tires off!! They told me they did an inspection (which I never asked for) and said, based on the manufacturer's recommendations, suggested I do a whole host of things from struts, shocks, to radiator flush's and much more, totaling $2300!! At this point the oil change still wasn't done! Fortunately I know something about cars. This is how you take advantage of seniors and those who are not knowledgeable with cars. Be careful when going there, you might get more recommendations$$ than you want. Never again will I come here!
