Today I got a flat tire on the way to an apt. I brought it to the closest discount tire since I have the warranty. I dropped my car off at 11:30 explaining that I had a 12:45 apt to be to. They said this shouldn't be a problem. I got the message that the car was done at 1:32. When I arrived it was not finished. It didn't finish until 2 pm. We had 1 screw in one tire. I don't think it was unreasonable to expect the repair to have finished sooner. People arrived after us that were seen before us. We were the last vehicle still there. To date I haven't had to wait for one tire repair this long at any other location. It really messed up our entire schedule. read more

Came in to fix leaky tires that drove me crazy for weeks (bmw). Bret was helping a customer when I walked in and as soon as he was finished, he got right with me. He doesn't typically work in the garage but he took the time to fully diagnose my tires and was even able to plug the worst one for free (even included new tpms sensor). In addition he also thoroughly and honestly explained my tire conditions and quoted me on new tires for a good price that I thought were going to break the bank. Thank you Bret! We had been loyal Discount customers for decades! We needed valve extenders on the tires of our brand new RV. We called, described the RV and what we needed and they said they could do it. Made appointment, drove about 20 miles up there and they informed me they didn't have a lift big enough and didn't that type of work! They turned me away! Not only did they lie about being able to do it, the bad experience got worse! Backed out of the non-RV friendly driveway that ended up having a very steep slope going out. Ended up wrecking the undercarriage and lower left rear side. I have been driving RVs for more than 10 years and can usually spot a hazard but this one was a horrible surprise! Be careful if you have larger vehicle. Don't ever want to go back! read more

First of all, I would like to say discount tire always comes through (On Clutch) when you need help you can always depend on them, but this day in particular, which was last weekend I had a complete blowout. Luckily, I had an air compressor to put a little bit of air in my tire to make it to the discount tire, which was closed, but they still had a few cars in the bay, Domingo came right to my rescue after the store was already closed. He changed my entire tire. It pays to get the warranty on your tires. He did not have to do that since the store was already closed, but he went over and beyond and for that, I am so grateful because I needed it. If anyone should make employee of the month, it should be Domingo. Over all discount counter tire is top notch, but employee Domingo is the top notch employee! Don't hate celebrate. I have been using Discount Tire for longer than I can remember. I started in CA many years ago. I have been in Texas for almost 10 years and my experience at 4 different stores has been great. I would not consider buying tires anywhere else. We are currently camping in our large 5th wheel in Galveston. We had a blowout on the way down. It was easy to drop off the blown tire for replacement. We bought one new tire here and arranged to get three more at the dealer near our home. Very easy since all their records are shared by all the stores. I am a forever fan! read more

Bought 4 Michelins for my BMW X3. They were not cheap because they are run flats. Didn't notice until I got home-25 miles away with gas at $4.59 a gallon, that right front tire was installed backwards, as these are what are called directionals. Had to drive all the way back, another two hour ordeal round trip and wait time, to have them remount tire. I mentioned to the manager that my wife's Infiniti also needed tires and had to be run flats as well. I asked if he would give me a courtesy for my trouble when I buy those tires. Not only did he not answer my question but never even quoted those tires! Value repeat business? Evidently not at Discount Tire!! Didn't even offer me a cup of coffee for my trouble. You guys need lessons on how to run a business and treat people right!! read more

This is how you earn a customer for life. My tire had a nail and I drive a Rivian R1S. I tried NTB and they were honest and nice, but they didn't have the tools and training to handle an EV. Luckily the Discount Tire team got it done. It was their first Rivian but they had the tools for it and they took the time to do it right. To top it off, my nail repair was free of charge. These guys are horrible, they chipped off the powder coating on my wheels, all four of them! When I noticed and said something about it to them dude lied to my face and said the wheels were like that when I came in. The also removed or destroyed 2 of the 4 tire sensors and I know they were working when I came in because I needed air just days before and the air was replaced in the same tires that suddenly required new sensors after I left. I will NEVER darken their doorstep!!!!!!!!!! I don't like shabby workmanship, I hate people who will lie and try to say they didn't mess it up! read more

Went in today to put 2 new tires on my truck. I was in and out in a reasonable time. But when I checked the tire pressure on one of the new tires, it was 46 psi, and the door jam sticker says 35 psi. I would give 5 stars if they didn't over inflate the tire. Also not relevant to this review, don't listen to the 4/32 replacement recommendation, that's just a sales pitch to get you to buy more tires. read more

This place is a great place for your tire needs. I called one afternoon to see if they had the tires I needed. They did not have them in stock but said they could order them and they would be there in a couple days. The next day they called and they were there already. That was fast! I drove up from the island an hour and a half before they closed. It was a Friday afternoon and I was afraid they were going to be busy and I would not be able to get in on time. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to get in right away. They were quick and I was able to get in and out within a half hour. The price was right and seemed lower than what I have paid for tires before. I highly recommend this place. The service is super friendly, the price is right, and it's fast. read more

I brought four new tires. First they left off the valve steam cover. Second they did not align the valve steam with the yellow dot on the tire. Brought this to the attention of the employee when I had to go back to get my tires installed correctly and his response was that how we mount tires? Also received a mail in rebate for $75 so all in all I paid $600 for 4 new heavy duty truck tires on my f250. Alan took care of me and my truck as if it was his own.
