Update: Ed the manager called me shortly after I left this review. (He was also very pleasant and got my car to me when I left. I didn't realize there was a manager to escalate to) he offered to refund the money. So I'm giving 5 stars because as I mention below the staff is almost always helpful and friendly. The employees are relatively friendly and timely. The reason for the decrease in stars? I've slowly been replacing my tires. A. It's a lease so I'm only going to have this car another 9 months. B. I'm an admin assistant with low income and a new baby. Dylan kindly took installation fees off for me because of reason A. I went in to finish up the new tire installations today and the clerk Jesse refused to match previous pricing. Not very customer friendly. Walmart matches prices from other stores but you won't match the prices of your own store? Bad customer experience my friends. Luckily, I won't be back. read more

I made an appointment online after hearing about a friend's previous wait time. I came in 20 minutes early because the parking lot was full & so was the lobby. It was 10 minutes after my appointment when I was finally seen. Of course I was there after work & slightly frustrated... but the employee helping me was so kind, he truly alleviated my frustrations with his personality. He inspected my tires & recommended & compared various options & even saved me some money in my decision making. I believe his name was Zach-he's blonde, worked 12-10-21. My service was expected to take an hour & a half, it took about 50 minutes. Someone else handed me my keys & was also so kind. I thought maybe it was so busy because of all of the hiring/shipment issues going on but I feel now that it's because of the great service they offer! read more

The short: These guys rock The longer: I went in to get one tire replaced due to regular wear. I was told my tires were directional and they'll rotate them/face them the correct way, no charge, no problem. Great. They take my tires off and find one (which I THOUGHT had been replaced due to an accident about 6mo. ago) is bald on the inside. Not just worn, but unsafely BALD. Not cool. Also find out their inventory on-line was incorrect and they do not have the tires I came in for. Not so cool. But they're willing to give me compareable quality from the same manufacturer for the same price I would have paid for the others. (would have been slightly more) So, I ended up spending twice what I anticipated, but they were great with customer service and didn't talk to me like I'm an idiot just because I'm female. I am incredibly appreciative of that. Also, this isn't an isolated deal. I've been coming to Discount for my tire needs since I started driving and to this specific one off and on. (off due to moving) They've been professional, quick, thourough, and awesome throughout. Thanks, fellas. read more

Worked with Roy, he told me that I would get a call about my vehicle when it was ready to get picked up and I would receive a text. I only received the text, informing me my vehicle was ready. Spent 20$ on Lyfts to and from the discount tire to retrieve my vehicle. When I got there, my tire was completely removed from the rim, with only the rim left in the back of my vehicle, asked the person working the front, "has it been repaired" to which he replied yes. Got to my vehicle and I still had the donut on without being told anything. Probably will not be going back to get my tires replace there, which sucks because they already had me put a 25$ deposit on it. When the kid who I was speaking with double checked with Roy, Roy told the kid I knew about it. Though we had, had a discussion about the topic informing me the tire was repaired as opposed to telling me "the donut is still on your car, and we completely removed the tire from your rim, so you can't even have it looked at anywhere else," is a very different story. They also told me the size of tire, was not in stock due to its "unusual size," went to Pep boys down the road, and they had 2 different kinds of the "unusual size," called Costco, and Walmart, and even though they were both too busy to take my vehicle same day unlike the pep boys, they also had it in stock making me think it's not that unusual of a size. read more

I've been going to Discount Tire as long as could drive a car. This one I've been going to for 10 years. So far I've always been treated well with speedy service. Today was no exception In and Out in less than 30 minutes. They also took the screw out that's been in my tire for over a year free of charge. These guys are good. read more

This store is always packed. The people are very friendly and polite. They are always busy plan on dropping it off. They told me an hour and a half for 2 tires not a big deal but I come back in a hour and a half and the van is still sitting we're I left it. I have used this location a few times before just keep in mind if they tell u a hour to figure two. Prices are reasonable just remember the +++ Plus this plus that a 50 dollar tire will cost u a hundred. The benefit is they have locations everywhere should u have a problem. I dropped it off at 11:00 and the just pulled it in at 1:11 I would guess I'll be on the road by 2:00 read more

Love these guys! I started at some corny place on Federal called 5280 Wheels and ended up trying these guys. I'm just darn glad I ended up here. I spent several thousand dollars on wheels and tires and was happy doing so for all of my cars! This place is a nightmare to get help at. Had a tire that needed to be replaced and was told that my other three tires were needing to be replaced as well when I had them checked on. This was all at 9 AM and I asked them how long it would take and they said worst case scenario the car would be done by 11:45 AM. I agree and wait, it is then 12 PM and my car still hasn't even been taken into the shop and they tell me that appointments came in and bumped my car back. I understand appointments come first but why is it that I wasn't told about these appointments in the first hand told that my car would be finished by 11:45? It makes no sense and made me late to work which was another thing I did not need to deal with. This place needs to get better at giving accurate wait times and pick up times if that is the case. read more

Extremely impressed. Brought a tire in with a slow leak. Was told the hole was too close to the sidewall and would be unsafe to repair. I thought maybe it could be plugged and took it elsewhere. Got a call from one of the managers the next morning and was told he would like to replace our tire at no charge. He said it's more important that they always do the right thing and to show that he was offering the tire. Our safety is more important. So... free tire. We always buy at Discount anyway bu this was really cool. Shout out to Nick who was the man of integrity we worked with. read more

I've had a nail in my tire three times now, and I always come here because I know it will be free and fast. I arrived at the store four minutes before close. They changed all four of my ball tires and 30 minutes one of them completely flat. I was driving on a doughnut in 19° freezing rain at night. I HATE going into car shops... I'm a female and I always feel like the guys at these places think they can pull a fast one on me and get me to spend more than I need to. This was not the case at the Discount Tire on 92nd. I did spend more than I intended too, but I felt it was well worth it to get very good tires and honestly, it was worth the price I paid. The tires are awesome and noise free. Customer service was top notch and the guys here knew everything about the tires, even gave me some ideas for upgraded wheels for the future and fixed a malfunctioning light on my dash for free! I go to Discount for the majority of my tire needs. I stopped in Friday morning to get my tires rotated. I arrived right when they opened and even though there were 3 other folks already waiting they were able to get my car in & out in under 15 minutes. I think that must've been record time! Even better that when you've bought your tires from them, rotation is free. The other big plus to Discount is if you get a flat tire, they'll fix it for free even if you did not buy the tire there (assuming that there isn't serious damage to the sidwall). Professional, courteous staff and a very clean wait area for customers. read more

I've been clicking back and forth on the rating stars for about five minutes. I have a really difficult time rating ANY car maintenance shops above 3 stars because they're inherently out to make money and you're inherently grumpy about having to spend money on your car. At least on something as mundane as tires. If you were having your car fitted for a faux leather corset or something, that would be considerably more worthwhile. But this Discount does a fine job. They're adequately nice, moderately slow (I never spend less than an hour an a half in any tire shop -- this one is no exception), they give you price breaks on one thing while charging you ridiculous prices on mounting and balancing $15 a wheel, really?). If you need to come in and complain about something going wrong, they'll likely remedy the situation for you. Their tire prices are more competitive with online retailers, such as Tire Rack, which is also appreciated. But in the end, the whole experience is just sort of "meh." It's ALWAYS "meh." I charge you, Discount, to actually attempt to make the process not suck. See what you can do. read more

If they tell you 45 minutes, expect two hours. They have more people to get you in and get you paid than people working the shop. They do have good prices, I get all my tires here, just be ready to get extremely aggravated! read more

I've bought 2 sets of tired from this store and each time they worked with me to make sure I have decent tires that I could afford. Before replacing all my tires they made sure I couldn't just replace 1 or 2. Even though they offer financing, they didn't try to upsell me and just put it on their credit card. I ordered michelin premier a/s for my '16 subaru forester xt touring. Then I drove them to Mccadden Cadillac in Boulder for nitrogen (I wish discount tire did this ). Wonderful shop, btw, check out the '49 Buick in the showroom. I love these tires. They're quiet, improve ride and handling. And I get one extra mile per gallon in mileage. I went here a few weeks ago to have a nail removed from my tire. Turns out they removed it, but I only found this out by going to another discount tire. I found out they didn't do a damn thing other than remove it and didn't reset the tpms. Won't go here again. read more

I've been coming to these guys for years and have always been provided fantastic service and the best prices. I dropped in here this morning at 8, because I was in dire need of two new tires that I had been putting off. I was worried that I would have to leave the car and take the bus down to work, however, by 8:26am they called my name, let me know that I'm all set, and sent me on my way. Their original quoted time of completion? 30-45 minutes. I wanted to match the new tires to my other two, and the price ended up being a bit more that I would have liked- so they went out of their way to get that number down to something that I deemed more appropriate without having to give up the same quality. You guys really are on top of your game and I cannot possibly express to you how much I appreciate it. I recommend these guys to everyone. read more

I have come to this place a few times for changing tires. They are simply the best! Tyler and Brandon are very professional in their dealings and are truly an asset for this company/store. The prices are really fair as well. Last time I was there, I was told it would take about 45 minutes. Always go to discount tire! Way better then big o tires. Got a guy at a place that hooks you up, NOPE! No more go to discount. Great price, service, clean, free WiFi, free coffee, free repairs.
