Not doing business here again. We went in yesterday to see if my truck tire could get patched. They took a look and said, "yes, we can patch it. I'll set you an appointment for tomorrow at 11:30." Great! We get there a few minutes before 11:30 and check in, hand over the keys... And we waited until 12:20 before we asked when our truck was even going to get pulled in. We are really busy this weekend, and did not expect to wait almost an hour for anything to even get started. They said, "sorry about that, we will pull it in when the next bay is available." Great. 10 minutes later they pull it in, and the tech comes out and says, "we can't service your tire. The hole in the tire is too large because you tried to temporarily patch it yourself." We said, "no. They said they could patch it yesterday. Plus, we temporarily patched it so that we could take it to the nearest service place." They said, "okay, we can't Service your tire." And sent us on our way. We took a look at the hole, and it is TINY. Not only that, but they left greasy fingerprints all over the side of our newly washed truck. So. We made an appointment, waited an hour to be seen (who knows how much longer if we didn't say something), they didn't fix what they originally said they could, and got our truck dirty to tie it all together. read more

Made an appointment for a tire rotation only to find out that two of my tires were in really bad shape and needed to be replaced. I was already tight on cash but the prices here are so reasonable I was able to find something I could afford. Plus, the tire rotation itself was free. I'm used to waiting way too long for my car to be finished but my appointment was right on time and I was in and out of here in less than 30 minutes. I recently needed some "commuter" tires for my Audi Quattro V8, and after an internet search, found what I was looking for at Discount Tire on W 92nd, close to my work. I dropped my car off at lunch, and spoke with Asst Mgr Chris W, who hooked me up with a great deal on four Riken Raptor radials. The entire transaction took about 5 minutes, and was courteous and professional. I picked my car up after work, and it was ready to go - inflation pressures were correct, and the lug nuts were torqued to factory specs. Discount uses a state of the art touchless tire mounting system, so there were no scratches on my shiny alloy wheels. I've brought three different cars to this location over several years, from an 18-year-old hatchback on its last legs, to a brand new coupe. I've always been treated to great customer service and respect. I remember Jeremy and John S in particular being helpful, but everybody's great. For the simple jobs, in, out, no problems. It can get busy on Saturday, but they'll tell you how busy if you call ahead. Even if it's busy, they work carefully but fast; I've been in and out in 45 minutes on a moderately busy Saturday. When I needed odd-sized snow tires, they ran through about every possible permutation of wheels and tires with me until I got just what I wanted. They shipped two sets of tires to the store very quickly, even though (silly me) I waited until just after the first snowstorm and availability was very low. One was just what I asked for (Blizzak), and another was a recommendation from Jeremy that I take a look at (Nokian Hakkapiletta). Jeremy was right on, I went with the Nokians and was very pleased, but I never felt any pressure. read more

The service here is top notch and these guys just saved me a LOT of money. My mechanic had done some work on my car and pointed out that I was BADLY in need of new tires. After spending beaucoup bucks to address an engine issue I was not in a position to afford four new tires, so I settled to get two replaced this week, and replace the others next week. Jeremy went above and beyond to find me four great quality barely-used tires at a very reasonable and definitely doable price, so I wouldn't have to wait to replace two of my bad tires. There are very few places where you absolutely know you will have a good experience. This discount tire is one of those places. Keep in mind that other people are aware of this too, so there's probably gonna be a line, especially on weekends. Their tire selection is solid, with affordable options that don't suck. Their website is really helpful when it comes to buying new tires or making appointments. One thing I always notice is how courteous the employees are. They open the door for you, they're polite and never pushy or salesy. My only minor complaint is that I've had flats repaired (for free) and they didn't call to let me know it was done. That's not enough of a demerit to make them lose the five start rating they deserve. The work done in the shop is top notch, the customer service is above and beyond and their website is the icing on the cake. They have locations all over the country (at least where I've lived) and they honor their warranties through and through. Very happy to have gotten tires for all of my vehicles with these guys. read more

I would like to thank Jesse the store manager in Westminster Co. We have been shopping with Discount Tire for years. I had purchased tires last year and felt they over tracked based on the tread pattern. I had come in once before to review but stated they would wear in but they did not. My wife did not like driving the car because it was hard to control. Awful service and staff. I ordered over $2k of rims and tires on 11/23/19 didn't hear anything from them after a week, called them and the manager Ed pretended he didn't remember me! Only until I had to go there in person and another employee came over and brought up my order( that they never filled out). After a reorder I was told it would get there by Friday the latest. I had to call Friday (of course) and Ed starts going on about how he never said that, he wasn't there, he was in a meeting, he was on vacation, pure excuses. He told me by Monday the LATEST! Horrible experience from start to finish. My daughter had a flat tire and was worried she would get cheated. As a father of 3 girls, I always get involved to ease their worries. I called the shop and spoke to Dan. I explained to him I did NOT want a Goodyear tire to replace the flat tire that could not be repaired. My daughter's car was purchased with original tires and only has 30,000 miles on it. I already replaced 1 tire last year, about 10,000 miles ago. We decided on a Pirelli. However, when my daughter got there, Dan was "busy" and another associate named Alex sold my daughter a Goodyear... told her she should replace the other back tire (which only had 10,000 miles on it with 80% of the original tread left) sold her the lifetime replacement warranty without asking her...AND... did not enter the mileage of the car on the receipt so therefore the warranty is not very valid. What a joke. You take advantage of young women even after I called and asked speciafically that you take care of my daughter. Shame on you. If I were not 8,000 miles away, I would go there myself. You will never get my family's business again. You failed. read more

My car is front wheel drive and last time they took the already almost worn down tires from the back and moved them to the front. Obviously this wore down quick and they won't replace them or anything. They're ass hole and just want your money. You can do better. read more

Very impressed with the high level of customer service. I pulled up and Jordan met me outside, asking if he could help me. I explained the problem and he gave me his opinion as well as a couple of solutions. He wasn't pushy and very polite. When I mentioned I might want to wait, he did show a sence of urgency, again not in a pushy way. I mentioned price being an issue, and he worked with me the best he could. They also found a screw in my back tire, and apologized for it taking longer, that they were just fixing it. All the staff members seemed very friendly and work well as a team. Every time I come here, it's excellent service all around. I have never had a poor experience. Everyone is friendly, and willing to help you out. I've come here with a nail in my tire, and didn't have money to replace it, and they hooked it up with a gently used tire for free! Today I brought my car in to get my tires balanced, expecting to pay a fee that most tire and vehicle shops charge, and again he waved the fee. I dealt with James today, and he was absolutely wonderful and ready to help. I believe he even took my car back himself and took care of it. I recommend this place highly to anyone. read more

I have used Discount Tires for years, and had a flat yesterday. I went in, and Dan Sanders took good care of me, he understood that I was unable to buy a tire yesterday, fitted a loaner tire until next Friday when I will have the budget for new tires. It could have been a bad day, instead they had me in and out in less than a half hour, which is appreciated having a toddler with me. I had a tire with a chronic psi leak that persisted for 6 months. I was tired of having to top off the air pressure and called these people to repair it. They said it would be "free." The first guy was setting me up to buy a new set of tires without looking at the tire with the actual problem then he's prompting me that if there's a screw on the shoulder they can't repair it. A couple of hours later I get a call from them saying guess what..... there's a screw in the tire near the edge, I was highly suspicious because this has been going on for 6 months. A screw embedded in the tire would leave it completely flat. When I picked up the car the second guy tells me (guess what) he understands there's a tire order to which I replied absolutely not. How many "free" tire repairs result in replacing tires that are repairable. The screw was in a notorious visible location that I had examined before taking the car to these people. The screw was a shiny brand new screw which isn't plausible that it's been there 6 months especially when this problem first began I took it to a Toyota dealer who said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Caveat emptor in Latin "Let the buyer beware" I offer this review to help others avoid these charlatans who turn "free" repairs into a $1000 sale. After having a bait and switch happen with me at another shop, Discount Tire really saved me today. Their customer service is top notch. Other tire places just threw quotes at me with tires they chose and didn't give me any kind of an indication as to why I needed that specific tire. This morning when I arrived at Discount, the sales rep took the time to look at my current tires, explain to me what was going on with them, asked me about the kind of driving I do to find the best tire for my car and then gave me several options. He went through each option with me and explained about each tire, what made that tire good and/or bad and then let me choose. He wasn't pushy at all, but extremely informative. They are slightly pricier than other places I had gotten quotes from, but I know now that you're paying for the much better service. read more

Got four new tires today. Was helped immediately by Dylan. Him, along with Dan, Moses, Anthony and Ethan, all promptly got me going three minutes after my scheduled appointment. I had some issues with my spare, which I have to fix on my own just mainly because of the age of my truck, not their fault, but I have to replace the spare jack assembly. Either way, they tried to get the spare to come down but with no success. The point is that they tried. All in all, as always, I had great service with these guys.
