So I'm officially a regular at The Distill on Stephanie and American Pacific. I was hesitant at first when reading the reviews claiming an abundance of smoke. But I must say after my first couple of visits I didn't really notice a recurring cigarette smell, and this most recent visit I was even sitting next to a smoking patron. The ceilings are high enough, aside from the well ventilated building to where you wouldn't notice it. Spencer has always been great in serving us, and Jeannie is such a gem. If you're looking for a local bar with a chill atmosphere, look no further. Fun, chill, and always a good time when you come with a good friend. Do yourself a favor and stop by, the happy hour is great at $3 wells along with the great customer service makes this a great local watering hole. read more

Blehhh....stopped here for the first time. Ordered two omelets from 24/7 breakfast menu. Hubby's came out....bartender says mine will be right out. 15 minutes later....hubby done eating...finally mine comes out. Food was just ok. This is a one and done. And cigarette smell....yuck. read more

Very cozy place to chill! Food is great and to top it of with their fried oreo is the bomb! This my first time to eat fried oreo and I can say I will definitely eat it again! Infact it become one of my top list now for dessert. Server oh my is one of the coolest and nicest server I ever met in vegas! Her name is Sydney she is very nice and accommodating. Billiards and table game is available inside the bar. Let me not forget to mention that they have a bunch of choices in their menu! Went in on a slow Saturday during Labor day weekend, maybe 10 people in the whole place. All the waitress did was complain about how it isnt as busy as last night, take 35 mins to get chicken figers out, and then refill drinks once during an hour visit. Wonder why it isnt as busy? Pictures of food looked great on Yelp so tried it out on a Sunday. The avocado rolls where "extremely small" for $9 and the dipping sauce thin as water with a not so great flavor. Go to Cheese Cake Factory, they'll show you how to do avocado rolls. Second, the crispy brussel sprouts would have probably been really good had they been freshly baked and not just reheated from earlier in the day. This made them a mushy in the sauce. Also ordered Hawaiian sliders. Only okay and would probably be better if rolls were at least toasted a little. Sauce is a bit overwhelming as well. Not a very lively place for football Sunday and may not ever be. Maybe local residents but I wont go out of my way again. The food has got to be spot on or you lose me. So disappointing. We were excited to try this bar/restaurant. The menu looked great and they offer a good happy hour. The decor is stylish but that's where it ended. To begin with, the staff looks miserable. No one had a smile and the bartenders seemed put out to wait on us. We began with a couple of happy hour cocktails that were extremely weak. This was my first time coming in this location after they redid everything. Right away I was greeted by a server named Victoria. I ordered the chicken fingers and French fries. They were some of the best chicken/fries I've ever had at a bar! I was really excited when she came back to check on us and offered desert! I have a HUGE sweet tooth and usually most bar/restaurant employees never offer desert. So it really made my night! She recommended the bread pudding and promised us it would be delicious. Not a huge bread pudding fan but she was absolutely right! It was seriously soo good!! I was there on Nov 4, 2020. Excellent service. Good menu selection. I tried the Cuban sandwich. The best cuban I've ever had. The au jus is spicy Cajun which I like as well. The tomato bisque was wonderful. I'm looking forward to returning to try something else on their menu. read more

Stumbled upon this place a week ago. Spencer was hilarious. Right off the bat he made us feel like we were regulars and that we were important on his exciting Thursday night! We had such an enjoyable time that we stayed through shift change and got to meet Kevin. He surely didn't disappoint. Great attitude, very personable, and kinda funny ( but don't tell him that.. my jokes are way better) Needless to say we have been here several times since discerning this bar.. and it's not just because I enjoy drinking beer! Everything I had tasted amazing! I probably will only order takeout from here on out simply because of the smoke. It's been hard for me to not go out for bar food because of this! I ordered the buffalo chicken dip on the happy hour menu. The dip is pretty good, but I was a huge fan of the thick fried homemade tortillas. The jalapeno popper burger was awesome. It's stuffed with jalapeno cream cheese and topped with spicy fried onions so I was a pretty big fan. Also get the fried oreos!! I don't always agree with house restaurants fry their oreos, but Distill has it down. They use a pancake batter so the oreo is surrounded by fluffy delicious pancake with sprinkles. Man. This place is killer. Especially since I have never been here during swing. The grave staff is absolutely amazing. Chris and Alex never fail to impress. I am a picky eater and I've been in the service industry for years so I know what a pain I am. But they always accommodate me. I absolutely love the grilled salmon but I only like salmon cooked med rare and Chris always hits it on the nose! Alex is a consummate gentleman and always manages to make sure everyone at the bar has his full attention whenever he is speaking with them. This place kept popping up in my Postmates suggestions so I figured I'd give it a shot. Since it was a delivery I can't speak to the service in the restaurant or anything, but the food was delicious. My order had some customizations, which places sometimes don't get right or flat out ignore but my lunch was perfect. Price was reasonable. My husband and I had a windshield appointment at safelite across the way from the Distill.... It was a long appointment and the manager at safelite suggested we go to breakfast across the way .....we have to say that was one of the best breakfast we have had here in the Vegas area in a very very long time !! the service was perfect Jill was our bartender and she helped us so much also Amanda was a perfect server they were courteous and they made us feel like home we just wish you had this in Boulder City where we live we have nothing like this.... This place is a joke it is racist me and my girlfriend were at the bar having drinks and just having fun with friends and when we left she was before me and an off duty bartender stopped her outside and asked why she didn't have a mask on the whole time she replied she didn't have to have one when she was drinking and he said you have to have one on when you leave. Yummy in my tummy !!! Okay so I've received 2 different types of customer service here hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The first experience I had here is very pleasant. Me and my girlfriend came here for an early lunch. The waitress was attending to the bar and was also serving anyone ordering food at the tables. This waitress did an amazing job ! She was very attentive all tho she was very busy. She had a great sense of humor and was very kind. We ordered the chicken fried steak sliders, the Texas brisket sliders and the thanksgiving ball appitizer. Everything had great flavor and you were able to taste each and every different aspect of it. All if the dishes were also beautifully plated. We also played some pool while we waited for our food which was fun and great pass time for our hugrey bellies. The customer service,atmosphere and food was amazing during this visit!Now for the negative experience. I ordered some for pick up and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived and went to the bar and the guy finally approached me after about 10 minutes of waiting. When he came up to me he asked how he could help me and I said I put in an order for pick up. He then returned after about 5 minutes and said there was no food that was ordered for pick up and if I was sure I called the right location. I said yes I was sure but if I could just place an order now because they didn't have my order. He went back and fourth with me saying I need you to check the phone number you called and would not let me put in a new order. He was very rude and combative and did not have any good customer service skills. I eneded up leaving empty handed, angry and hungrey. Well Distill is the best...went for some drinks & video poker and found the initial greeting upon arrival from the bartenders welcoming and attentive.
