The saddest Reuben I have ever eaten in my life. A few slices of corned beef, a couple drops of thousand island, ZERO sauerkraut (idk how you miss this one), all served on a greasy piece of wheat bread (not rye). Yum. The service wasn't bad but the bartender was just meh. Couldn't even tell you his name, don't think he gave it to us. Cheap drinks though, I guess that's always a plus. Hopefully they get their menu down, hire some cooks who actually care about the product they send out, or completely remove the Reuben, because that sandwich was straight disrespectful lmao read more

We actually travel extra far past many other bars (sorry Elixir, you sucked) to go to this place because of how friendly they are. Went to Distill while waiting for my car to be serviced at an adjacent repair shop. I was greeted and seated by a very pleasant and attentive server, Sabrina. After going through the extensive drink and food menus, I settled on a Blue Moon draft and the Jalapeño Popper Burger with sweet potato fries. The beer was appropriately cold and full and the burger was rich, delicious and prepared at the temperature that I requested; medium. My only complaint, and the reason for the 4, not 5 star review is the condition of the table where I sat, which was at one of the 4 chair low tables away from the bar. The table top was sticky from dirt that was visible at the center of the table. That REALLY needs to be addressed. Other than that, I enjoyed my visit. Wow. Work in a government building just down the street. Finally made it here. Being a government type worker my lunch is timed to the minute. 1 hour and not a minute more. Lucked out - I just about the only customer (not sitting at the bar). "Should have plenty of time" I thought. Well, I thought wrong. After getting a quick glass of water, 20 minutes went by without an order taken or a visit of any kind. At the 21 minute mark I had to abandon ship and skedaddle. Not overly pleasant and slow service. She didn't bother to tell me about the rewards I could get by signing up for their card and acted like she was doing me a favor by serving me. The second visit...I think her name is Stephanie, awesome. Great vibe, friendly and helpful. Third time...Jill again. Fourth and last time..Jill. Now I imagine the guys in a certain age range may have a different opinion and since the salesman at the dealership like to come in at lunchtime and get their buzz on, that's where all her attention is. It's Christmas and distill was open, we felt bad they even had to work Christmas Day, but Autumn was so happy to take care of us. She was very attentive and not super overbearing at the same time. Unfriendly bartender, breakfast shots were horrible and did not want to fix. Very upsetting.

Went for happy hour and had 3 drinks and was charged $37. My friend had one happy hour drink and one non and as charged for 4 drinks. Yes I was little tipsy and had to get to my Uber and didn't catch this until the next day so it can't be fixed. Lesson learned. read more

We were long time patrons of Remedy Wagon wheel as we we residents in the area. We have recently bought in the cadence community. During our shopping trips we have driven by Distill and said to each other, we need to check it out. Well today was the day. Very good decision. Very different from the "dark" remedy's atmosphere. Much more visible and inviting. We noticed they had the same menu which was perfect'. Animal Burgers for both of us as they are the best! As we always order them when Jeannie was our server. We sat over at the tables by the (should be working poker machines, thanks Sisolack) (loser) And out came the animal burgers. My girlfriend was sitting across from me and "holy cow"! I said what's up, and she said those burgers are huge! They truly looked big and awesome. We just thought we would drop a line to let you know that this location is great. This Place is my escape, especially in the pandemic, the food is great and the bartenders and cooks really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. My favorites are the ahi poke stack, the brisket sliders as well as the western burger and its awesome to enjoy such a laid back atmosphere late at night and being very cared for even at peak hours when it is busy. Jeannie was my bar tender tonight and It was a relieving feeling to have a bar tender that was so attentive. I consider this my local var over parkway tavern or anywhere in sunset station. So I'm officially a regular at The Distill on Stephanie and American Pacific. I was hesitant at first when reading the reviews claiming an abundance of smoke. But I must say after my first couple of visits I didn't really notice a recurring cigarette smell, and this most recent visit I was even sitting next to a smoking patron. The ceilings are high enough, aside from the well ventilated building to where you wouldn't notice it. Spencer has always been great in serving us, and Jeannie is such a gem. If you're looking for a local bar with a chill atmosphere, look no further. Fun, chill, and always a good time when you come with a good friend.
