Took my girlfriend here for date night and the ambiance was great -- live music really set the mood. We each got a wine flight and split a charcuterie board that paired perfectly with the wines. Service was quick and our waitress was attentive. Solid date night spot.

Husband & I came back for a date night this past Saturday evening since we're wine members & had to pick up our monthly wine anyway. We sat outside bc the entire place was reserved for a big party. The weather was a bit chilly outside but it was tolerable & our server turned on the heater for us which was nice. We ordered the charcuterie plate again bc that's a must to pair with wine & the Caprese salad. The caprese salad was nothing extravagant but it was a light & flavorful. As for wine, we decided to try a bottle instead of the wine flight this time & the wine did not disappoint. It was solid & we finished the entire bottle. Service was attentive & great just like last time considering they were busy throughout the night. We'll be back again soon!

This has been my go to place to bring friends or just treat myself. I recently visited for the 15yr anniversary celebration and as always it was a delight to see Angela and to have a moment to catch up with her. There was a live performer and I loved her renditions of popular R&B songs. I caught myself grooving and singing along. I took advantage of the anniversary specials for drinks and food and loved that my favorites are still on the menu I absolutely recommend the citrus olives and the meat lovers flatbread. This a woman owned business and I love being to support my girls and local spots. So be sure to stop by show some love to this very cute spot of mine.

Cool vibe! Lounging on the couches and enjoying happy hour Monday!

Since they changed ownership they've given the interior a little refresher which is such a great ambiance. Our favorite server Mabel is always on point! Next time I'll take pics

What a cozy neighborhood wine bar. We were invited to come out for a small event and what a great choice. Enjoyed a glass of sangria which wasn't too sweet with diced fresh fruit and the raspberry beret which was champagne with a scoop of raspberry sorbet was excellent!!! Sliders come as a pair with a side salad. Good choice of brisket and not saucy which I prefer. Lettuce cups with mushroom was interesting and something I've never had before. Good to have on days when you just want to abstain from meat. A good choice for vegans. Again, this is a cozy place to catch up with friends or even a small event. Service is good with a friendly staff. Recommend.

My parents were in town and we needed a chill place that was parent friendly. District wine was the perfect place! Made a reservation for 4pm, but I was mega late. Luckily, my parents were well taken care of and had already gotten themselves started with a bottle of Pinot (delicious). The food was good too! We started with brisket flatbread and also had the curry mac and cheese. My favorite out of the two was the flatbread. Im a sucker for great customer service, our waitress was kind, friendly, and added to the comfortable atmosphere! This was such a great place! It was a relaxed environment and Ill definitely meet my parents here again!

Five of us checked out District Wine for their Happy Hour which runs 4-6 Wednesday - Friday; 2-5 pm on Saturdays. Closed Monday & Tuesday. I had a great glass(es) of Chardonnay for a great price - $6. We ordered the Shishito Peppers which were grilled to perfection and have an amazing sweet sauce. Great starter. The Charcuterie and Cheese Plate was plentiful albeit I prefer more bread than crackers. A friend ordered a Margherita Flatbread. I was not impressed. As a final order I got the Gorgonzola Honey Crostini which was FABULOUS. I'll be back for more of that and the Peppers! The place has areas to relax with friends but also a few large tables where you might mingle with someone new! Glad this place is downtown!

A friend and I stopped by to burn some time while waiting for traffic to die down. Service was great, tapas tasty and wine options were outstanding. The owner stopped by our table and had a nice convo. Definitely worth going back again, again and again.

This is a wine bar with a small plate selection as well as a wide variety of seats that aren't uniform design. Our party of three decided on a flight of 4 wines (which you can either customize or pick from one of the set options). As we are not wine connoisseurs, we had immense help from the waitress. Note that this place doesn't have as much sweet red wine but there's sweet white wine to choose from. We enjoyed the sparkling white wine so much that we got a bottle to go. Note that you get a discount if you decide to take a bottle of wine home. As for the small plates, we got brisket sliders, curry mac n cheese, and Italian meat flatbread. Small plates is really just a synonym for appetizers since they cost as much as a normal meal ($14-$17), but you get less food. The brisket sliders are only two sliders and the Italian meat flatbread looked like 4 very small slices of pizza. The food itself was above average, but with no bang for your buck. The overall check for 3 of us was $101.75 (includes tax and tip).

Very nice evening spent here. Ambiance chill, service wonderful. A great date night or quiet convo destination. We enjoyed an assortment of their menu items: the BBQ Brisket Sliders, Sweet Blues Flatbread, Butternut Squash Soup, and Smoked Shrimp Ceviche. All excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Louis LaPierre Reserve Brut - two glasses. Dessert was also quite nice: Apple Crisp à la mode, and Ginger Creme Brûlée. As mentioned, but certainly worth mentioning again, service was wonderful. Another bonus: did a check-in on Yelp and got a discount. Nice. Would definitely like to go back and try some of their other offerings ... with another glass (or two) of that Brut.

This place has a great feel. It's so relaxing and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I sat outside and made our way through a few of their small bite on their appetizer menu. Our waitress explained everything we ordered and gave several recommendations. The outdoor seating was nice, they had a couple little couches facing the walk so we could people watch with our pup who they welcomed as well. I don't know why it took us so long to try this place out, we only live across the way, but im so glad we did. Definitely a place to go to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and fun atmosphere

This is THE perfect date night spot! The ambiance is so beautiful, with all of the natural lighting and a cozy atmosphere. The wine is superb, especially the flights if you want to try out different blends. I'm a white wine girlie, but enjoyed the semi-sweet red wine in my flight. The food is exquisitely prepared and picturesque. I absolutely loved the charcuterie set up and was surprised by the Shishito Peppers with lemon squeezed on top. Don't forget to end the night with dessert. Staff is so friendly and welcoming and I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you!

Great experience as a first timer, tapas were good. We had great energy & wine with my girlfriends night out. We even had the festivities of Christmas joy with the neighbors all around us. I would recommend you come give this cute & great energy place a try.

At first we were a little unsure, but the food quickly won us over. Buvons feels more like a cozy wine bar than a traditional restaurant, but that's part of its charm. We could smell the curry broth coming from the kitchen before they arrived and immediately knew we had made the right choice. Served with frites for dipping, it was one of those simple, satisfying dishes that you keep thinking about afterward They were also streaming the Korea match and thoughtfully seated us near the projector, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's a small, charming spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Just a heads up- there's no indoor seating, so everything is outdoors with a small patio setup. Located off the fun Retro Row on Fourth St. with the last Friday event happening, we noticed a good amount of people walking in and there was a security guard out front. The crowd was lively so it must be good. First off, I was totally surprised about this place. It's a pretty nice spot. There's the main bar right along one wall that offered both wine and beer. There was also a corner that hosted a live band. When we arrived, no one was playing yet. The crowd seemed to be more of the younger hipster vibe. A completely different crowd from the LA scenes. Getting a drink wasn't that bad even though it was busy. I happened to get lucky when someone moved from the bar stool for me to approach. I was a little surprised when the wine I ordered was in a box...lol... I mean, it was whatever. Some options were for a glass only or for both a glass or bottle. But when it came to checking out, tipping options went from 20 25 percent to 30 percent. Wasn't used to that as an option as it's not like you're dinning in. Anyway, the surprise was when we walked out and seen that they had a massive back patio. It was hard finding a seat as it was packed. There was also a food trunk on deck but wasn't sure what they were serving. We noticed people with hotdogs and someone with a box of pizza. Not sure if it's from the vendor or if you're allowed outside food in. The vibe was fun, the crowd was lively and everyone there for a good time. It's more of a younger scene. Definitely worth it! The vibes are unmatched. It's a unique blend of "top notch cocktail crafting" and "beer and a hot pretzel after work." Incredible knowledge and ingredients but not snooty patootie. Super inclusive and fun, with cool popups and events happening all the time. It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.

Forgot to write my review but I came here 02-01-26. Caught a good deal on Groupon which lead me…read morehere. First time at a wine bar and I enjoyed the experience. It's a nice spot located in Belmont shore. It's very clean and spacious on the inside with couch seating along with tables and chairs. It isn't loud but they did have some music playing. It's a good spot to chill at with family and or friends for a few glasses of wine. It's also a cool spot for a nice intimate date. Had the pleasure of tasting 4 different wines; 2 whites and 2 reds. I enjoyed the wines. You can bring your own snacks and charcuterie board. The hostess was very knowledgeable of the wines, sharing backstories of where and how they were produced. It was a good learning experience also.

I bought a Groupon for a tasting and checked out the food menu ahead of time. I was so happy to…read morefind GF options as I have celiac disease and wanted to spend a nice Sunday afternoon with my son having lunch and wine. When we arrived we were told there was no chef so only a few items could be made from the menu. I chose a flatbread but was then told they had no gluten free bread. So we had to get the charcuterie which was so small and cost $30. Really ridiculous price for something with a few pieces of meat, cheese, grapes and nuts. The wine was good, and the tastings were generous and I know it is a wine bar but the day was really spoiled by not having a lunch there. I don't think I would go there again. If you do make sure they have a chef before you go if you want to eat.

I mean what can I say except The Vintage always hits. Always a great experience, great ambiance,…read moreand of course great food. My fiance and I are both pescatarian and there's plenty options. The veggie sandwich though is our favorite. It is out of this world. Our server every time we go is Brandon and he's such a vibe and always makes the best wine recommendations. This place is in a family friendly neighborhood and the restaurant accomodates children so don't be surprised if there's kids when you go. It's pretty normal.

What a gem this wine and cheese bar truly is. I don't live in Long Beach, but thankfully the drive…read moreis less than 20 minutes and even if it were longer I would happily make it. It's located in Bixby Knolls, surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries, yet it's the only true wine bar right there. Honestly, Long Beach has more wine bars than most surrounding areas, and since the South Bay is packed with breweries, if you're tired of beer this is your sign to switch it up. You will not regret it. The food menu has cheese boards, salads and sandwiches, and everything I've had here has been delicious. The cheese boards are better than sex. There is seating indoors and outdoors. It's minimal, but somehow we always manage to find a table. The service is consistently great and the owner is wonderful. She will be leaving soon and she will absolutely be missed, but what she has built here will definitely be cherished. The new owners fell in love with the place, so you can expect it to be well taken care of and to remain just as charming. Parking is street only, so read the signs carefully so you don't end up with a ticket. If you go on a Sunday there are no restrictions or time limits, which makes it even better.
