    Super short nails

Worst experience ever. Daughters nails looked like some one glued chiclets to them. They are lumpy, too thick and crooked!!!! My nails were short to begin with, however they filed them down almost to the quick. Cannot believe we paid for this crap. I only gave one star because it won't let me leave negative stars Now at a different salon fixing their screw up.

I walked into the salon without an appointment and was greeted and shown to a chair. I'm a cosmetologist and am very aware of the proper way to disinfect and sanitize equipment and areas used where clients sit. I have been looking for a nail salon that follows all state board rules and regulations, and this one, from what I saw, did not. They didn't even change the towel after the lady a few seats down from me was done. The file and buffer the nail artist used was obviously used on tons of other clients, and that was disgusting. Luckily they did have disinfectant solution on each station, but I didn't see one nail artist use it to clean any of their equipment. Most of them just put it right back in the drawer after they used it on a client. I didn't necessarily see once I left if they went to the back and cleaned everything, but seeing with how quick they were, I'm guessing they didn't. I appreciated that it only took about 30 minutes for a gel manicure. I'm all about not spending more time than I have to anywhere, and I do like how they shaped my nails. Overall, I am happy with my nails. However, I probably won't be back.

Shows nail still showing on day one.

So I went In with and Inspo picture. Some how I went from wanting a French done to an ugly cat eye green. I'm the type of person that gets nervous to say anything at the time. The shaping was ok but my actual nail can still be seen! So I came back in for rio which is who did my nails and he told me my nails grow fast which I took a pic right after I got them and you can see my nail still. Anyways told be I could pay for a fill and pay for a color change. Also he didn't cover my entire nail in polish. There where so many minors wrong it made them horrible. I really like this place and have came here about 6 times this year and not complained at all. Not anymore! I seriously can't stand them paid $65 and have a $20 tip. I'm so freaking upset!

Ask for Rio if you have any kind of specific design in mind! He is the best!! Perfect ombre, flawless fade

    Not impressed-

I was so excited to treat myself and get my nails done. I should have saved my money, not only did they look terrible the gel lasted a whole 3 days!

Pointer finger oddly shaped. Paint does not cover the entire nail (just look at my cuticles!)

My mom decided to treat us to getting manicures and pedicures here. I was so excited as I have never gotten acrylic nails before, I've only had cheap press ons. I'm sad to say my Impress nails by Kiss (that you can buy at Walmart for under $10) look so much better than the nails I was given today. Pedicure was first. Our appointment was at 1PM and we waited 30 minutes, which was not a problem. My technician was new, but he did a good job. The woman who did my mom's feet rushed through her entire pedicure and was so rough on her feet that she was hurting my mom through every step. The owner stepped in for my pedicure and painted my toes poorly. My pinky toe is not completely covered in polish. My mom's toes are coated unevenly and the top coat doesn't cover all of the polish on the nail. It looks very sloppy. Then the owner took me to do my nails and it was a terrible experience. My nails look like they are tilted and go upwards instead of being straight. All of my nails are uneven, different thicknesses, and shaped very strangely. They are also too short for my preference. My nails are not painted all the way and there is visible nail by my cuticle that was left bare. Devices used to cut and sand the nail were not washed between uses and looked dusty. Brush used to meld the acrylic to the nail did not look like it was never cleaned. My nails look ok, but for as much as my mom paid, we are both completely dissatisfied. My mom's nails also do not look the best nor professional. The man who did her nails was rude to her and most of her nails point in funny ways. She had to ask him to fix them multiple times and he looked completely bored and uninterested. Overall, we are completely upset and dejected. For $112 plus tip, this is not the quality of work we deserve. We will not be coming back and will be looking into if we can get our nails fixed at a different salon. This is a financial loss. We were supposed to be happy and excited, but unfortunately we both are very sad and disappointed.

I will never go to this place again. They are not transparent about their pricing, but charged me $45 for the worst dip powder set I have ever had. Not worth $45 at all! This has truly scarred me for life as someone who has only been committed to one or two salons over the years. This is what happens when you don't stick to what you know. The clear coat was coming off as I was leaving the parking lot and I did not have time to have them re-do it. Such a pain. Wow.

I've been going to this salon for the past 10 months but their work has disappointed lately. I had a picture I showed and they said they could do it, but the design alone was going to be $30. I agreed thinking it would've been worth it however as you can see in the pictures it's very sloppy. The pinky nail shape alone is enough to grab the attention. Overall it's embarrassing. Not to mention the artist who did the design was rude. He would ask me if I wanted glossy or matte, I stated glossy and he gives me a look like it was a bad choice and says "are you sure" so I politely asked if he thought matte would look better and he said very loudly "it's your decision I can't make that for you" as if I couldn't ask for his recommendation. I paid $80 for this set, and $10 tip. I will not be returning.

I did have an early appointment and since having never been here before I arrived early so I wouldn't be late. They did open their doors a little early before they actually opened. I didn't want to be that customer/client who tries to get in early so I just waited lol The woman at the front desk was super nice and helped me check in and let me know that Katie would just be a moment while she prepped her station for me. I had been up since 5am and really didn't want to fall asleep because I wanted to know what the process was and what was being done. Small chit chat didn't keep my attention so I did almost fall asleep. The service was fine? I guess? My lashes on the left eye like didn't take? Not sure if it was because of how it was done or the product that was used? The right eye seemed to work fine. I thought maybe I just needed to put on mascara to really see the difference. I followed after care instructions to a tee! Didn't touch, didn't put on make up for over 24 hours, didn't have them touch water, didn't sleep on my face... The next day my left lashes were pretty much flat compared to my right eye. Ugh. I did get a follow up call to see how my lashes were doing but I was at my bridal shower so there was no way I was gonna stop partying to take that call. I did follow up with them that Monday about how they turned out. They said I could come in so they could fix it for me. I thought, oh wow awesome! They asked for a time that would be best. I said it would be cutting it close for 3:45pm since I get off work at 3:30pm but they said they'd still take me if I got there no later than 3:48pm or something. So they put me on the book for a lash lift fix and I get the email to confirm. So that day I was scheduled, I HAUL ASS because I know time is money, only to be told that they wouldn't be able to do anything. What. Why have me drive out there to tell me that? This could've been a phone call. I get they need to see the lashes but... this could've been communicated to me beforehand. I felt like it was such a waste of my time and money. And then I was told I could come back in the recommended 4 weeks, but I'd still have to pay the same amount... lol why would I pay for a service that didn't work the first time? They offered to comp $20 but that was after I asked. It's just shocking they don't stand by their product. I have gotten my hair done at multiple places (I've moved around a lot), nails done at multiple locations and they offer to fix that service and comp it (if there's anything wrong, which is rare but at least it's offered) And those services are much more expensive than a $70 lash lift. It was really shocking. Take what you will from this review, but I will not be coming back.

Sherry told us we need to keep getting her haircut every 6 weeks because of the blonde and how damaged her hair gets with sun and chlorine. Buy moisturizer for her hair and put it in every day in middle and ends doesn't need to be at the top because her hair dries out a lot. Sherry said the cut is much better and will help her hair grow healthier, it won't break as quick if we do all the above. Finally Sherry said to also said before she goes in the pool to spray it down with water to prevent chlorine damage because her hair is so blonde. Sherry was so so informative and patient with both girls. We will forever be returning to Sherry! Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, he also doesn't want to pay a lot of money for it. So for years, he's gone to Great Clips or the like and paid $8.00 for a haircut that 4 out of 5 times looks like I could have done a better job with some clippers in our kitchen. After we moved to O'Fallon, he decided that the nearest Great Clips had screwed him over a time too many and that he was finally willing to pay a little more for a haircut. So the search began. A mile or two down Main Street from our house is this little place called Salon Identity. I went in there once for an eyebrow wax (only $10.00 and she did an AMAZING job). I suggested he call them and find out the price for a haircut. He decided it was sufficient enough if it meant he was going to get a good haircut, and BOY, does he. He always goes to the same stylist - Tara, and she understands how finicky he is about his hair and she's always very patient with him, takes her time, and does a fantastic job. She even cleaned up his neckline and gave him a trim the week of our wedding so that he looked nice and fresh in his tux. Last night, I got my haircut by Tara for the first time and I am SO amazingly pleased at how it turned out. I had no idea it was going to look this good. She even showed me some styling tips to help me out with my new bangs and shorter 'do. The best part is that it only cost me $31.00!!! Absolutely unbelievable! I didn't know you could GET a good hair cut under $40.00. They'll accept walk-ins, but make an appointment today. You'll be so happy!
