We had a girl's lunch/brunch get together at the Dive Bar and Restaurant last Saturday, August 3rd and it was absolutely FANTASTIC. The location directly across from the beach and ocean are fabulous. Although it is a small place it is very comfortable and a cute family friendly place. I had called a few days before to find out if they made Chocolate Martinis and spoke to Riley who was just wonderful telling me that Alissa would be working, and she makes GREAT Chocolate martinis. When we got there around 12:30 I asked if Riley was there and as Shelly our wonderful waitress took us to our table she let me know that Riley was at the bar so I went over and introduced myself. Riley gave me a big hug and introduced me to Alissa. Two of us ordered Chocolate Martinis and my sister ordered Cosmos. Needless to say they both were absolutely delicious. Not only did Shelly give us the best possible service but Alissa kept the drinks coming and each one was EXCELLENT. As for the food we were EXTREMELY pleased. We ordered the chicken tacos, the shrimp po'boy taco, fries and the ABSOLUTE BEST ITEM recommended by Shelly was the Burbon Pork Belly bites. They were so good that if anyone tried to grab on you would want to slap them and tell them to get their own. We had the BEST TIME because the staff were wonderful, friendly and made us feel like we were family or regulars. I visit Orange and Milford from Harlem, NY often and now I will look forward to getting by The Dive Bar and Restuarant whenever possible. read more

Really cool place with a fun atmosphere. It can get busy there and hard to get the attention of a staff member. The first time there we were able to get a table. The second time it was very busy on a Sunday during football and we ended up leaving because it was busy and there was no where to sit. The first time I was there I ordered the shrimp poke bowl. I ordered two mahi mahi sandwiches to go and was disappointed in seeing what was given to me. For $17 you can get a paper thin fish sandwich. I don't think there was any fish on the sandwich it was all breading. I think the sand across the street has more nutrients. read more

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love Dive Bar. It's in an amazing location and it always makes you feel like it's summer or that you're on vacation. We try to go as much as we can and order takeout from time to time as well. That being said, our takeout order is rarely if ever accurate. Tonight they told us it would be 15-20 minutes for takeout and it took an hour and 15 (which is less than ideal when you're waiting with a child in the car). Management apologized but that was about it. Things happen but I'd rather have them not accept takeout orders or be more realistic with wait times. Its inconsiderate to say the least. Not only that but our food was not cooked and barely edible. It was clearly rushed. I think they've gotten too big too fast and don't deliver the same service or experience. I hate even leaving this review but it's the reality. I'm not in a rush to go back and will certainly not be ordering takeout anytime soon. read more

I've been coming to Dive Bar for well over eight years, and have seen the growth and expansion which is well deserved. The food is consistently good. The atmosphere is friendly and vibrant. This time around I decided to try the Burger Salad. For those of you who read my reviews, you may have figured by now that I have a wheat allergy and must stick to a GF diet. This limits many of my options in restaurants that have chosen not to wade into the realm of gluten-free buns, rolls or bread. Dive does have a decent selection of gluten free options.. think Brussel sprouts , salads and Poke Bowls which are all yummy. Back to my Burger salad.. it is like a deconstructed big Mac. Piles of lettuce, tomato,pickles ,shredded cheddar cheese and thousand Island dressing. Yes please!! My burger was perfectly grilled (I prefer medium rare) The lettuce crispy and the rest of the ingredients speak for them selves. I definitely will order this salad again! read more

It takes a lot for me to really give a place a 5 star, but they deserve it. The service is consistently good, the food is solid, and the prices are reasonable. I've never had a bad meal here. I recently went there and had their wings as well as a bourbon and blue burger. Wings were phenomenal, I didn't get a picture but their bourbon barbecue sauce was great. Nice crisp to the wings, not unmanageable but not small. Good amount of fries, nicely cooked and not heavy on grease. The burger was cooked how I asked, and it was very filling. Excellent selection of beer. I will always recommend them whenever anyone asks for a burger spot and I will be back again and again. read more

Dive Bar is a nice spot down by the water if you're looking for some good drinks and food! The inside dining area is small but when my boyfriend and I visited during the week, we had no issues getting a table. The staff was very friendly and checked in frequently to see if we needed more to drink or refills. During our visit we ordered fried pickles, shrimp po boy tacos, and the mahi mahi tacos. The tacos were phenomenal. Both were seasoned perfectly and had a great balance of protein and veggies. The fried pickles were good as well, however I thought the breading was a bit thick. We would definitely visit again if we find ourselves back in the area! read more

We were very disappointed yesterday in our 2nd visit to Dive Bar. Temp was mid 70's and when we arrived garage doors were closed. We told the bartender we drove an hour to get there and it's a beautiful day- that we would love to have the garage doors open. Bartender could care less. Just said she didn't open and went to go scroll on her cell. Food was great! We got bourbon bbq wings, a salad, and blackened chicken tacos. The bar back was very friendly and helpful. The 2 bartenders seemed bored, uninterested in the customers, and could care less about our having a good time. We would have stayed for another round, but decided to go somewhere that had more friendly staff. We will not be returning. Not worth the trip. read more

This place is an absolute GEM! Went there on a Monday night. Bingo going on. Such a fun vibe. Sweet & helpful hostess. And top notch waitress-ALERT--GREAT SERVICE, PEOPLE!!!!!! But the FOOD! Love... LOVE the newly expanded Dive Bar. The shrimp tacos were fab, though I'd get the hoisin sauce on the side next time. Mahi mahi tacos... to die as usual. Delish!! Burger and pulled pork sliders left nothing to be desired. And how could I forget we started with the house chips and fried pickles... mmm, mmmm, mmmmmm! All wonderful with great service. The expanded location does mean you can bring your (bigger) kids with you now. Probably still no babies/toddles. It's a bar and definitely super loud.... in a summer fun way, but loud nonetheless. This restaurant was an overall disappointment. Went here after a game a UNH for lunch. Waited over an hour for our food and it was disgusting. Additionally, our table was ignored and disregarded. Our waitress stepped on my feet multiple times and gave an attitude while taking orders. Once we got our meals they were barely warm and tasted awful. The wings were dry and had an odd flavor. The lobster sliders were full of rubbery meat. Wouldn't recommend. read more

What a gem! The wait staff is beyond friendly! We ordered severally dishes each were delicious. If you are a Brussel sprout fan definitely try the appetizer. Honey bacon and charred Brussels you cannot go wrong! We ordered burgers and fries both delicious. Pretzel bites perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and warm inside. Had a good night here with some family tonight. Good drinks and good food as well. It is always very busy though so sometimes there is a big wait and sometimes the service is not great as well but the staff is very nice. I would deff recommend if you are in the area and don't mind waiting a few minutes. It is right on the beach and has a great view! read more

Zero stars! Was in the area and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Sat down, given menu, then 5 minutes later, get asked for my ID- fair enough, I always gets carded. Give my OBVIOUSLY REAL State ID, lady takes it to the back. Comes back 2 minutes later asking me if I have another form of ID. I say no, that's a drivers license. What else would I have? She tells me well sorry, you need another ID - this is out of state and doesn't look like you. Sooooooo you ask out of state people for 2 forms of ID - are you fucking kidding me? I say well I just want to eat. She tells me even to eat. Meanwhile right next to me there's a man with a KID - so 21 and over unless you're a kid? Help me understand. My husband and I both do Keto so our amazing and knowledgeable server, Tina, suggested the chopped burger salad! My burger was perfectly grilled with crispy edges and juicy inside served on top of everything you might find on a loaded burger included house-made thousand island dressing.
