I've always loved the food here--every dish I've had here is packed with flavor, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's the kind of place that keeps you coming back for more. However, on my most recent visit, the service left a lot to be desired. It took quite a while for our server to greet us, and once we finally got our food, she never checked back in until we were completely finished. It was clear she was busy, but we felt completely overlooked throughout the meal. A simple check-in or refill would have made a huge difference. A few hiccups but overall an amazing meal here. I loved the interior and the exterior of the restaurant. The exterior has a very pretty floral drop that stands out when driving past. Definitely captured my attention for me to give them a try when there's a lot of options to dine in this mall. When we were seated at 11AM, our server explained to us that they are prohibition theme and their specials. What they were known for - which was the Ruota Di Parmigiano, alfredo pasta, that is tossed in their cheese wheel. We then ordered our drinks and were given stale bread. We notified them that this seemed like the prior day's bread as it was pretty hard. They took another 10-15 minutes to give us fresh bread. Big difference. Our server didn't seem to care. She had a very straight face throughout this meal of ours. She didn't apologize but she did have a manager stop by our table who did apologize about the bread. The fresh batch was delicious. We got our appetizer, the lentil soup and the calamari. It was my first time trying the lentil soup and I thought it was delicious! I loved it here. The calamari did state on the menu that it was with zucchini and squash. Unfortunately this appetizer was full of zucchini and squash and not so much calamari. Other than that, it was pretty delicious. Also tried their Caesar salad. Very impressive! That's a good salad. Our main meals were also tasty but heavy. We ordered the shrimp scampi pasta off the lunch menu which was $19. They used small shrimp with that dish. We tried the Ruota Di Parmigiano with shrimp. They used large shrimp here that was delicious. The pasta was extremely heavy though. Can't eat much of it. We had no issues using our Yelp Check In Offer of 15% off. I was disappointed. We had take out from there several months ago and it was delicious ! We enjoyed it so much we thought we would enjoy a dining in experience. I was looking forward to a delicious meal like before. My husband had the Bonzino which he loved and I had the Chicken Marsala. I remember I loved the chicken Marsala before because they served home made egg noodles that were amazing. The chicken moist and sauce delicious. Tonight, I ordered the same thing only the Marsala sauce was very broken and it looked and tasted like egg noodles swimming in oil and not olive oil. There was a tiny bit of strong Marsala clumps that were inedible and I just couldn't eat it. I took it home for the dogs but I will need to rinse off the oil first. what a shame ! Ambiance was welcoming and service was OK, not great. Trying to do them a favor in case they didn't make sauce at each meal but in bulk I decided I should say something to the waitress. She was a little snippy even though I said no when she asked if I wanted something else and I would have rejected a discount. A sauce breaking could happen to anyone and I know sometimes it breaks right when being served. I was only trying to be helpful. I Was disappointed in my meal and service but the food is delicious enough I will go back and give it another try! read more

Let me start by saying this is mine and my hubbys favorite place. We have come here for birthdays and anniversaries. Since the place opened we have taken our children and every visitor that we've ever had to Divieto. We have preferred this place too many many many people. Had a reservation tonight at 5:45 got there at 5:30 had to wait about 30 minutes for a seat. The poor hostess was out of sorts. There were people everywhere. Got our seats in the room to the right of the entrance ordered two glasses of wine for me and my girlfriend one a Chardonnay one a Pinot Grigio. Ordered our dinner started to sip our wines and I thought this wine doesn't taste right this is not a Pinot Grigio. I have drank Pinot Grigio my whole life. This tasted more like a sweet dinner wine more of a German wine. My girlfriend said the same thing about her Chardonnay. It did not taste like a Chardonnay. We thought we might've gotten them switched up so we tasted each other's and said nope that's not it. I told the waiter he said to my girlfriend that is definitely a Chardonnay took mine away and five minutes later came back with the same glass of wine and said this is our Pinot Grigio. First of all, how did you know? Did someone taste it? I think you should trust the girl who's been drinking it her whole life and bring me a new glass of wine. No, they brought me the same glass of wine that was not a Pinot Grigio dinner was very rushed. We basically put our order in and the food was there. They were trying to push people out because they overbooked or something. I always order the mascarpone. It was very watery. Chicken was way overcooked and I didn't have the energy anymore to talk to the waiter who had barely any time to talk to us. I have to say it was one of the most disappointing dinners, that I have ever had there and making me question my loyalty to them. I also let them know that we were celebrating a birthday and this is the second time that they made no mention of it or brought us something special if you're not gonna make our dinner special we are not gonna pick you to go there for our special dinners. It started with a phone call to the manager, Jose to request that the restaurant accommodate a party of 22 people on Valentine's Day. Our family was coming in from all over the country to celebrate my mom's birthday. Jose was exceptionally kind and made arrangements for us to be in the smaller room away from the crowd. My third time dining here and my favorite restaurant in the area. Service is amazing. Vibrant but not too noisy vibe. I always order the chicken Madeira and it never disappoints. I came here for a birthday celebration not knowing what to expect. The restaurant was packed at 8:30pm when we arrived so I already knew it had to be good! They have black and white tiled floors, a dimly lit ambiance, the kitchen is halfway open, the bar is very inviting and the space is old timey Italian vibes. We were very satisfied with the service 10/10. The food was melt in your mouth. Everyone got something different: Chicken Parmigiana, Mascarpone Pasta, carbonara pasta, brownie, etc. the Mascarpone pasta was by far the best!! There isn't a thing on the menu that didn't look amazing to me, so this will have to be a go to date night destination! read more

Excellent...! This is a place to go frequently if you are looking for great food quality, originally prepared meals and wonderful service. The food ingredients they use are evidently of high quality, the preparation and presentation is terrific and it is brought to your table with the most friendly and professional attitude. John was our waiter. Nowadays it is hard to find a restaurant to eat other than the same dish that you can eat anywhere, out of a box or frozen bag and presented with no special touch. Came in for a friend's birthday dinner and sat in the private room with a large party. Although the room isn't as private as promised we had a great time. Alex really went above and beyond to connect with our party, explain the menu thoroughly and make it a full experience. We booked a reservation for 9:45PM and were concerned about the closing time (10:00PM). We called before heading out to confirm it was okay to show up and the hostess assured us it was okay as there were 3 other 9:45 reservations. When we showed up the door was locked and a man greeted us at the door accused us of arriving an hour late and regardless the kitchen had closed an hour ago and locked the door. We have been to other Divieto locations so we know the quality of food is amazing however between the clear miscommunication between kitchen and staff combined with the rude behavior from the employee, I think it is safe to say I will not attempt another return to this location. read more

I came here for lunch with my friend and it was tastey! She started out with bruschetta which she really liked. I'm not too big on diced tomatoes so I didn't it. We both ended up getting the pesto gnocchi for our entree and I ate the entire thing! I got chicken and she got shrimp. It was very good! I was a little disappointed though because I ordered a drink that was supposed to be an experience and our server was instantly like oh no I new so when I come over with the bubble gum be patient with me! We said okay not a problem but when she arrived with my drink she said they were out of the stuff to make the bubble. I am left to think maybe she was just too intimidated to even try, or maybe they were truly out. The drink was food but really missed that experience with it. I love the vibes of the restaurant as they are upscale but not too fancy. Overall it was good and I will be back, as I want to try more of the entrees. read more

This restaurant was in walking distance to my hotel. I had their pizza and their clam linguine. It was delicious. I would for sure hear back. I recommend making reservations if you'd like to be seated inside. The wait staff and hostess was very friendly. The one weird thing that happened...was my party of three arrived, we didn't have reservations and were seated outside. I requested we be seated at a table that was in the shadow as opposed to direct sunlight. The hostess said no, because she wanted both servers to have even amount of table to wait on. Finally, I think if we're paying to eat out, we should be able to request to eat in the shade. It was weird and worth a mention on the Yelp review. Enjoy!! read more

We've been visiting Divieto since we lived in Miami and have always enjoyed the food. We found ourselves here celebrating another anniversary and happy we decided on Divieto. This establishment is pretty busy so get a reservation before you head out. We sat in the patio which was perfect with the weather. We were greeted promptly and our orders were taken. Food took at best 15-20 min before it hit our table. The Carbonara was perfect! We really enjoyed our visit and the location. read more

The food, always amazing. Love love love the lychee martini. My husband says Gordon Ramsey would approve. But what really got me, was that I had one too many lychee martinis and out of nowhere, I dropped a water glass and sliced my hand right open. I got linguini with white clam sauce. It tasted like nothing. The manager was nice enough to swap it out for the frutti di mare. It wasn't much better. It's like they didn't season either dish. They were both missing garlic. Very mediocre for the cost. The server was wonderful and every staff member we came into contact with the kind and professional.
