A must try spot in the area of downtown Stamford. Parking is street or paid lot parking and can be tricky during peak rush hour. We started off with some prickly pear mocktails and spicy blood orange margaritas. All were amazingly delicious and extremely refreshing. We ordered two appetizers for the table. The fried calamari and fresh baked bread. The bread was pretty good and had a nice crumb to it and it really didn't need any of the dipping they provided. The fried calamari was amazing as there was a good amount of rings to little squid's and it was extremely crisp as it should be. For mains we ordered a margarita pizza, the burger with fries, and I ordered the rainbow beet salad with shrimp. Everything was honestly delicious and so fresh. The only complaint was our server was a bit peculiar and kept lingering at the table and rearranging our plates mid meal. Otherwise a 8/10 for food and overall atmosphere. I would like to come back and try out their brunch menu next.

I always wanted to try this spot and went for a friend's birthday. Overall, I will give the food and drinks alone a 10/10! All of the appetizers we ordered as a small party of 6, we were able to still share and kept us full enough before our entrees arrived. The entrees were just as yummy to eat. As for the round of desserts, I thoroughly enjoyed their chocolate cake and ice cream. The one comment I will add is that the staff could be a lot friendlier, upon arrival and leaving, with little to no interaction nor greeting (especially from the gentleman who was wearing a grey suit; unsure if he was just working the door area for reservations and seating/manager?). Our waiter was the sweetest young man, being extremely patience towards us taking time to order but also knowledgeable with the menu whenever we'd ask questions.

Came for happy hour and it had a lot of options at a discounted price! Happy hour was until 6:30 so it was later than most. The croquettes were unique and I really like the roasted potatoes. The service was quick and kind and the aesthetic was cute although space was semi limited. The cocktails were definitely the weak point but, a good option for happy hour.

We had a reservation for brunch and were seated promptly. Although there seemed to be a bit of confusion as to where to sit us and then we sat in a room with no one else there yet. The main room was packed. Our server was friendly. The Brunch menu was okay. We started with the croquetas. I wouldn't order again. Not what I expected. My husband asked for some bread for the table while waiting for our food, but they don't give that. The server mentioned that we could order a focaccia bread, so we did. I had the caesar salad with grilled shrimp for my entree. It was okay. More like lettuce with grated cheese, 5 grilled shrimp and a 1/2 of a hard boiled egg. My husband had the pappardelle and said although a small portion, it was very good. We ordered the warm donuts for dessert. They were okay. The table next to us asked for the dinner menus and their food looked delicious. So we will try again, but for dinner.

Hungry and looking for a place to eat we decided to stop here. It was conveniently located off of the highway and thought we'd give it a shot. It was a Monday at lunch time when we entered. The restaurant was decorated very beautiful but there was not a soul in the restaurant and now we understand why. Furthermore, it took a couple of minutes before we were greeted by any of the staff. We were about to walk out when someone greeted us. The food itself was not flavorful. The pasta tasted like cardboard or straight out if a can (but not a good one). The quinoa bowl just had a peculiar flavor to it and the portion was small( the picturewas very close). The best part of the bowl was the grilled chicken added. Otherwise the flavors didn't mesh well. Our experience with the staff was slightly awkward and they were fairly aloof to us.

We thought we'd check this place out to have a quick happy hour..seeing we were in town for a business meeting. Little to our surprise, happy hour was only at "the bar" that had probably eight seats. this took me by surprise cause it's a very small restaurant. I think they would do much better if they let the whole restaurant have a happy hour. Very cute place but not so "happy"! Food was just ok.

Had a lovely brunch at Divina Restaurant with friends! The ambience was really nice--warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed weekend hangout. We especially enjoyed the spicy mussels--full of flavor and just the right kick. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

My husband and I decided to come here on a whim, as we had one rare evening free together. the ambiance of this restaurant was very nice, but our service was terrible, and the food was not much better. I've heard of decent things, and judging by the reviews, I'm hoping the night I went was just an off night for them. We ordered arancini as a starter, which was very heavy on saffron. Kind of unusual, but if that's your thing you'll probably love it. For main entrees my husband ordered the bistro steak, but apparently they've been out for a day now so that was no longer an option. No big deal, he got baby back ribs instead. He said it was decent, so that's a plus. I ordered chicken Parmesan and unfortunately it was very greasy and heavy. I had some, but the rest we packed away. We also ordered a prickly pear mocktail, which was tart and absolutely delicious! The brussel sprouts also were a hit, even if they were a tad greasy. We ordered a pizza to go for a family member, and I had clear instructions: no meat/sausage on the pizza. The waitress said okay, wrote it on the ticket, but unfortunately for us when we got home we saw they still had put the meat on there. Now a whole pizza gone to waste. It was not cheap either. In between appetizer and ordering our entree as well, the waitress ignored us for a literal half an hour while she took orders and checked on other patrons. I understand she had 3 other tables... but she literally ignored us for a half hour and anytime we tried to get her attention she'd walk past us. It was not a great feeling. All in all, we don't plan to come back. Hopefully others have a better experience.

The dirty martini and bucatini all'amatriciana were excellent. I also order the veggie tartare. It was good but a little bland. I expected more flavor from the ingredients. I liked the eclectic decor and lively atmosphere. I would definitely return should I visit Stamford again read more

Had dinner here on a weekend night. Giving all the stars to the service because we had nothing good to say about the food. Too much salt and saltiness is inconsistent in a dish. Service is decent while environment is okay, could be too loud for conversations unless you don't mind yelling at each other. read more

We dined at Divina last evening. Since we don't drink we had a Virgin Paloma, made spot-on and hubby had an Athletic Brewing Run Wild Athletic Beer. Brewed in CT! For starters, we had the shrimp crostini and the Portuguese octopus. Wowser! That good! Dinner was homemade pappardelle with bolognese and sucking pig ravioli! Holy Moly, both were outstanding! We were too full for dessert, next time! If you haven't tried Divina..,..you simply must. We parked at Target for a buck. Valet parking is 14 bucks for two hours! Bravo. Divina! We will be back soon! read more

We came for brunch not at a busy time. The dining room/bar is lovely and airy but very noisy. The host was unfriendly and looked put upon when we asked for a different table- there were many empty tables. The service was slow but the servers were nice and attentive when there. The entrees were slow to arrive. I ordered eggs benedict and they weren't good- lukewarm, hard yolks, curdled hollandaise sauce, soggy English muffins. The hash browns were spicy, it didn't say that on the menu. I was brought French fries to substitute, they were good fries but not what I was looking forward to. My friend had a waffle with fruit she said was good but to me the shape looked too perfect to be fresh baked. It was a disappointing experience for both of us, we won't be returning. read more

Everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered the calamari and artichokes for an app. For dinner we ordered the cannelloni, field greens with grilled chicken, and lobster ravioli. The brownie dessert was delicious. Our server Manuel was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The decor is a plus. read more

I made reservations for 4 people and they sat us right away. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great vibe. The food on the menu was generally good, however, there were a few things about brunch that left much to be desired. 1. The restaurant didn't offer any pork alternatives (i.e. turkey or chicken sausage, or non-meat options). 2. The restaurant didn't offer any dairy alternatives (i.e. almond, oat milk, etc.) Strange that a place in 2021 would only offer whole milk and heavy cream. Will come back again in a few months to see if there's been a change/improvement. read more

Beautiful New Italian Restaurant in Stamford located in the Courtyard Marriott. From the same owners of Table 104 in Stamford. Italian food with a modern twist. The restaurant has a open and airy feel. Tastefully decorated. Friendly & welcoming Staff. There is something for everyone. A beautiful private dining room in the back and nice bar area in the front. If your in town for a visit or a local in the area it is definitely worth a visit if you want good Italian food with a trendy ambiance. read more

Came here with a friend for the first time and ordered the chef's brunch board. It had a ton of options and it was the perfect spread of savory and sweet. The atmosphere is very clean and modern and the service was impeccable. Will definitely be back. read more

I was having a hard time finding a nice brunch spot locally so thought I'd check this place out since it had nice dinner reviews. It doesn't disappoint! My eggs benedict was cooked perfectly and the hollendaise was creamy with a hint of lemon zest. Delicious! The only thing that could improve is the service seemed a little frazzled. It took me a while after I was seated to get a menu, and the place wasn't super busy. But, this place does seem new so they might still be getting in the groove. read more

The place is beautiful inside and some food and drinks look look it too but that's about it. Staff had a good in attitude but wasn't coming as often as normally should be. The food while the pastas looked good where rather bland, a little salt could go a long way, and closed mussels and clams aren't acceptable, drink look good (Negroni) but the charred oranges made the whole drink bitter and couldn't finish. I hope this place gets better, it has potential read more

Small restaurant attached to the Marriott with a small bar and outdoor seating. Dishes were all very tasty! The King Oyster Mushroom was very flavorful and tender, Portuguese Octopus was also tender, the Black Fettuccine wasn't for me but good if you enjoy puttanesca although the large was a bit on the smaller size, and lastly the Salmon a la Plancha which was cooked just right. Would recommend and go again. read more

Came here for Mother's Day. The brunch was amazing. We ordered a few different things on the menu. We had the delicious Arancini to start - traditionally Sicilian, made with peas meat and cheese. For meals we had: steak and eggs, frittata and spinach feta pizza. All of our meals were delicious. Well seasoned, well cooked. For dessert we had the guava sorbet which was incredible. read more

Five stars for the food and decor but NEGATIVE ONE STAR FOR SERVICE. Arrived at 12:30 for a brunch reservation on a Saturday during Restaurant Week. The grouchy old man at the greeter podium begrudgingly escorted us to our table. I inquired about a kids menu for the two children obviously in town with us to which he rudely blurted out "the menu is the menu." (Note: I've dined at Divina several times for parties and each time the waiters informed me that they could make chicken fingers, pizza or buttered pasta for children). I then asked to see the Restaurant Week menu which he just provided to the table next to us when he sat them. He grunted and then brought the menus over. We were the only non-White party in the restaurant at the time and I should hope this treatment had nothing to do with us being POC. Anyway, the food was great and beautifully presented. Our dessert took a full 30 MINUTES to come out but I understand that the waitstaff and kitchen are probably understaffed. Our waiter Joe(?) was polite but clearly overworked since he appeared to be waiting on ALL the tables in the front of the restaurant while tending the bar. read more

Great option if you are gluten free and craving Italian.There were many surprising things on the menu that were gluten free, like the fried artichokes made with chickpea flour. The menu doesn't indicate GF beyond the pizza but when I asked the host he explained that they had both GF pizza and pasta and that many of the appetizers were also GF. Once seated he explained options in detail including a homemade ravioli not on the menu. Most pastas could also be made GF. We ordered many appetizers. All were excellent but I really enjoyed the fried artichoke. Pizza was good. Nice selection of wine. A few reviewers commented on the ambient noise. It can be difficult to hear the person beside you at times and our large party was in a separate private area, but it was loud. Another reviewer commented on saltiness. Food was saltier than I prefer, but I don't cook with salt at all so most restaurants are too salty for me. read more

Dinnered there last night. Very good cocktails, warm service, food excellent. High marks for the bluepoint oysters, passionfruit mojito, seafood linguini. Banana gelato--new dessert item--was delicious. Our server was lovely and everything she recommended was on point. At some point we'll sit at the bar and do happy hour (4-6:30). Was there previously in warm weather and sat outside; food was very good then as well, but definitely prefer sitting inside. read more

We just went in for a drink and we were disappointed with the male bartender. Too much into himself and never engaged us or other patrons. Not the best choice in bartenders. We think Walter and Enzo are amazing and the food is great. Just think you should rethink your weekend bartender. Your restaurant deserves better representation than that. read more

There was a guy with a shirt saying "Big Mike" who seemed to constantly be monitoring the place which was a bit odd but I suppose he was just the boss keeping tabs on his restaurant. Overall: Average quality food but nice Italian-inspired environment. Would recommend if you are in the Stamford area and interested in Italian food.

He was very reluctant to take these items off the menu. Everyone has different palates, so why are you talking as if I'm supposed to like it since everyone else does? This didn't sit well with me, and the vibe was off from there. We liked the food, but it wasn't worth the hype around it. Our waiter was still pleasant through it all.

I had a great time at Divina for a mid-week dinner. We arrived around 8:30 but had no problem getting a table. The food was excellent. We had oysters, octopus, beet salad, and Arancini to start. The octopus was excellent - one of the best octopus dishes I've ever had. For the mains we tried some of the homemade pastas. I had the black fettuccini with seafood which was also excellent. My only regret was ordering g the half serving. I should've ordered a full serving - or better yet, two! It was that good, and I will be back again for more. The service was good, but nothing outstanding. The waitress gave my wife an extra glass of wine for free for no reason, which was nice. Ambiance was loud and dark, but we didn't mind. Interesting end to the night , though! A DJ randomly showed up around 9:30-10 and the whole place turned into a nightclub all around us. Again, we didn't mind, but I can see how some other unsuspecting guests wouldn't like it. Apparently this happens weekly, so I think we just didn't know about it, but we made the most of it, had a few drinks, and extended the night after dinner was over with some dancing. read more
