First serious brewery ever in Arlington. You can sense the local support and buzz. They are just beginning to have public on-sight tastings. They have a Facebook page that will let you know about future public tastings. The first impession you get as you look at the various brews in progress is the ambition of it all. Not just a few safe options. I personally like a good IPA and there were 6 or 8 to choose from. I sampled two IPA's and 1 blonde. The taste on the three samples proved to show that they obviously did the homework and hard work upfront on the recipes and processes. Franky, everything I tasted was better than other local breweries that are currently enjoying widespread distribution. Looking forward to see what Division Brewing does going foreword. read more

Division is one dive of a brewery, and that's a good thing! Really, all my favorites have that certain 'dive vibe' ... I'm looking at you Noble Rey, The Collective, Adelbert's and Panther Island. Division Brewing feels like a place where the actual beer gets made. Less like a fancy taproom. Now there's nothing wrong with fancy taprooms, I just happen to prefer a true brewery experience. Plus, the people seem happier here. There are dogs and often live music playing outside along with some super friendly bartenders. As for the beer? Well, I think Division brews some of the best in DFW. Their beers have character and heft and also seem super fresh, which is very important. Keep in mind they have Crowlers(!) so you can even take your favorite beer home with you. (In case you don't know, Crowlers are greater than Growlers.) Definitely check them out! read more

What a gem. I've been to most every brewery in the metroplex (maybe not something to be proud of but hey I like beer) and they're doing things different here. The staff was super friendly, and I actually got to talk with the owner, Wes, briefly who suggested several beers. He was very friendly and humble, enjoying a beer at the bar! This place is awesome! Good beer, fun atmosphere, nice owners, and a great outside seating area. They even have a record store you can take your beer into that had complimentary popcorn. When I told them it was my first time, they asked for what I liked to do drink usually (hazy IPAs), and then gave me samples of over half the selections available. Out of 7-8 samples, I didn't have one I wouldn't order, and each had a unique flavor profile. I couldn't even taste the alcohol on some of their over 10% ABV beers... dangerous! Division Brewing has a lot of character. Upon entry there is a couple of cool hot rod cars and a sweet van that happens to be one of their logos on their shirts. A friend and I walked into check it out for the first time. The staff, the brew masters and owners were there and were happy to help us. We took in the facility and the over all ambiance was vibrant, smelt great and was intimate. Full of games, donkey box, darts and various board games. There is a cool outdoor area that had a smokehouse BBQ truck in at the time and offered a bright outdoor environment. This facility also has a cool comic book, vinyl and memorabilia store that butts up to the patio area. You can peruse comics and vinyls with a beer. We didn't get to witness the acoustics of this venue but there was also a cool music venue that was inside of the comic book store. We were told that it is an outlet for local, mainly, punk bands to show their stuff. I will definitely have to check it out another time. Enough with the ambiance and the venue. On to Division Brewing's beers, they have a very eclectic menu that has a wide array of options. I enjoyed a Grind and Press that was at a 'steep' 10.5 abv. This was an excellent beer. Great notes of Cocoa, Vanilla that had a bitter sweet taste with a lasting coffee finish. The beer is brewed with Urban Alchemy Cold Brew Coffee. I will for sure be checking out that coffee shop as well. This was by far my favorite beer. I enjoyed a few others that were all excellent as well. Those that I had included Smokes, the smoked ale. You can really smell and taste the smoke flavor. Well done! The Black "I", the black IPA and this one packed a punch, it had a lighter body but you could definitely get the taste of the toasted barley and it had a resounding floral aroma with a sweet bitter bite. I definitely enjoy coming to this brewery when I'm in the area. They are dog friendly, parking is kind of weird. They have a small lot to the side and another lot towards the front of the building. The area does seem a little dark and sketchy however seems to be fine. They definitely have excellent sours, which are my favorite style of beers. Plenty of places to sit inside or outside, which ever your preference. They have sometimes have bands play on the weekends on their little outside stage. It's nice comfortable relaxed environment here. Not like other big breweries where it gets over crowded. Definitely a diamond in the rough. Had the chance to speak with the owner and his brother on this particular night. Very nice folks. This is a taproom style brewery so you just pay as you go. I really enjoyed this place. It was hard to grasp that I was in the heart of Arlington.... this brewery is unlike any drinking spot I've found in Agg-Town. There is a nice big selection of unique craft beers and sours. We sat outside, and half of the patrons outside with us were wearing Division Brewery shirts.... lots of devoted regulars. Another thing I loved was the music playing. I'm sure it was just Pandora, but it was a very cool indie rock station... right up my alley. Holy Shit!! Holy Grail of fresh beer right in the heart of downtown Arlington! This place kicks ass! I usually try to use less profanity but, this place deserves it for being all that! They serve up homemade craft beers, IPA's, and many many flavors. No matter what any know it all beer person says, things still boil down to freshness!! That be right here' and they even have an app that notifies you when a new barrel is ripe for drinking! Match that with close to home, and pad-ow! Love Just wondering if I shouldn't be writing a review to keep it more hush hush, but I maintain my Elite Review status by doing so! And I have to give this group kudos for making this wonderful place a reality for Arlington! Live bands every weekend that are really good, and they have food trucks and artist come in and set up outside. Dogs and even children welcome, as this is a family friendly welcoming environment. You will not run into hipsters as much, as this is a crowd who just genuinely knows what a good beer is and is coming for that product! What's not to like about a home town craft brewery! This was Arlington's first and just because its small doesn't mean it isn't good. On the contrary. Division Brewery has a great family and small town feel. They seem to always have alot of varieties on tap. And now that the laws have changed they run it like a tap room vs some breweries where its more of a tour and tasting experience. Each time I have visited I have sampled many beers that were in my personal flavor wheelhouse. Pro tip: if you do arrive late in the day or evening, they could be out of a few. Speaking of the experience, I love it at Division Brewing. They have a cool outdoor space that's really like a back yard. It's also attached to a few independent shops that are good for a stroll. Last time there we saw vinyl records (provided by another one of my Arlington Faves CD Warehouse on Cooper) comics, games, books etc Division Brewing also has live bands regularly on the weekends which is another unique thing about this spot. Found ourselves at this Brewery on a Sunday afternoon. Pretty sparse except for a Birthday Party going on. Tried the Hop Fog which was OUTSTANDING and one of their Stouts which was Good! Would return to try some of their Sours since other reviewers seem to indicate they are good. read more

Visited yesterday for the first time and loved it. The staff was very kind and helpful despite it being a busy Saturday. I loved that there's indoor and outdoor seating. The beers were great, they actually let you taste it before you buy it so you're sure you like it, which is a big plus for me because I tend to buy beers based on the name and don't always like it. They have games for you to play at your table which I also thought was very cool. I live nearby and will definitely visit again soon! read more

First time visiting but already it's one of my favorite local breweries. They had 3 sours, 2 saisons 3 ipas, 1 gose, and a few stouts etc. Incredibly friendly folks pouring drinks, including some of the brewers. The $15 Saturday gets you 3 pours and a pretty cool glass. Between my wife and I, we had all 3 sours (Peach Espalier is really amazing and made with local fruit), two IPAs (Frankenfroth straight from the fermenter, amazingly fresh!), and two saisons (Barrel aged Prodigal was awesome). The only beer we didn't like was the watermelon Be kind and Remind, which tasted kinda soapy. We loved 6 out of 7 beers though and that's a much better track record than most! I absolutely loved this place and might have found my new beer hangout in DFW. read more

They have many good beers to choose from, but I usually go with an imperial stout or a sour. Sometimes the guy who made it actually pours it for you! How cool is that? They don't serve food, but you can bring in food from outside. There are plenty of places nearby. They usually have water and soft drinks on hand, too. Owners were present on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend that we were in and they were great about picking out some of their most interesting beers for the tasting. They offered seven of their five ounce beers for $20, so not a bad deal at all. The local restaurants also offered delivery to the brewery for free. read more

Value wise, it's not the best deal in town; $15 for three pours that aren't even pints. I think they recently upped the price (according to my friend who had been there before) and made the glasses smaller. Both times we've come here the owners were very nice to us. The first time my boyfriend and I came in we talked to them about their music choice (Elliot Smith!!) and the owners were kind enough to give us a free tulip glass since we had never been there before. I have been here twice and loved it each time. They have such a variety of beers, so everyone will find something that they like. Both times I was there, there was a live band playing outside - which is great! Love to listen to live music while sipping delicious beer on a spring/summer afternoon. I noticed that they recently changed their hours, only being open from 4-10 on Saturdays. I hope that is only for the summer, because going to a brewery right after lunch on a Saturday is the best. Extremely helpful and happy staff. This was my 3rd time here and I have never had a bad experience or interaction with the wonderful staff. I wish every place had the personalities, helpfulness, taste, and friendliness that this staff so pleasantly exudes. If you are like me and know nothing about different brews, ales etc they have all the knowledge to educate and inspire you to become a beer tasting master by the end of the night. This is one of the best breweries I've been too. I am a big IPA guy so this was perfect for me. They brew a lot of IPAs! They also have Stout's, Sours and Lager/blondes. Highly recommend. Went here on my last day in Arlington with big expectations after reading some reviews. I was disappointed in the current tap selection. Tap is always changing which is a good thing, but what i believe is missing is consistency from batch to batch. They have a few staples but none that I would purchase in a store. Small place venue wise. Got the Uber flight which is $20 and is made of 7 5 of pours. Expensive considering all the other places you could get local beer. read more
