Enjoyed lunch here on a rainy Saturday with my wife. We we greeted quickly by Chloe at our selected seats by the front plate glass windows looking out to Elm St. Friendly smile and quick to offer drinks while we looked over the menu. My wife selected a pulled pork sandwich, while I selected the chicken sandwich. Both were very tasty (of course I ate 1/2 of my wife's meal). The selections also came with a side-her fries, me the Mac and cheese (which is homemade and holy crap-delicious). The pints with the meal were not cheap and the two I had with my sandwich were fresh and went down well ;) Would have preferred the darts to be about a $1 less than the 7.99 but the sandwiches were well worthwhile as the quality and quantity were spot on. We were visiting Manchester and thought we'd give this place a try because of the ratings. They are not wrong! I had the crispy chicken tacos with cauliflower rice, my husband had the cuban quesadilla. Both delicious! We shared the apple pie empanadas for desert. Also delicious! My wife and I went for the first time. It is really nice inside, a couple tv's, relaxing chairs to sit in and looked really clean. Our server was great, along with the bloody mary I had, and the food we ordered. So you might ask, why the 3 stars? After we had paid a gentlemen came over to out table (manager, owner?) and asked how were things. I said it was our 1st time and the food was great. He looked at my plate and said, it looks like you got the eggs benedict (he could probably see their diz sauce and yolk on my plate) I said I did. Then he looked at my wife's plate and said, I can't tell what you had, but you demolished it. Note to self, next time you may want to take a different approach. Maybe, so what did you have? My sister and I were aiming to visit Cat Alley and the bookstore and were looking for a local (non-chain) restaurant nearby. We happened upon Diz's Cafe. OH MY!!! were we thrilled by that bit of luck. We sat at the counter, enjoyed two homecooked meals. The food was fantastic, as were the cocktails. I had the stirfry on top of cauliflower rice -- all made onsite. The staff were friendly and seemed to get along well as a group and were pleasant with customers, which added to the environment. We discovered that the cafe also has theme events/days, and we're planning to head back there in a few weeks to enjoy that. If your visit is at all like ours, you'll have a great meal out. read more

Found this gem of a restaurant in Manchester while walking along. What an incredible Vibe. The interior is very inviting and they use real mason chars to serve orange juice in them. Judi the owner took our order and was friendly and cheerful. Omg the food was delicious! I really love the menu too, On the back is a brief history of how the restaurant came to be. Our first trip to Diz's was wonderful! The restaurant is clean and uplifting, the service is awesome and the food was soooo good! We perused their specials and settled on the Dizco tots. OMG- yummo! We also each ordered an adult bev off the drink specials and those did not disappoint. Dinner we tried the chix mac, the fish tacos and chicken parm. My friends and I happened upon Diz's Café because the lunch spot we were planning to go to was unexpectedly closed. Let me start with the really good: the menu is very diverse without being so expansive that it is hard to make a decision; I feel confident that anyone could find something they like. We placed our orders and the food arrived really quickly. The food is DELICIOUS. All 3 of us at the table kept saying how good our food was and kept finding ways that the options provided by Diz's differs from a lot of what is offered on Elm and the surrounding streets. The menu prices are very reasonable as well. From a COVID perspective, we were impressed by the spacing of the tables (much more than the recommended 6ft), general cleanliness, and that the staff were all wearing masks. The not so good: still sticking on COVID precautions, on several occasions our server approached the table with their mask pulled down near their chin (rather than covering their nose and mouth) and another server came by with their mask situated just below their nose. The first time it happened, I thought that maybe they hadn't noticed. The next few times it happened, I felt they were aware. I ended up putting my mask back on after we were seated so that I could make sure I was staying safe. This probably stands out mostly because all of the other precautions were SO good, but it left an impression that maybe measures are only being taken very seriously some of the time. At any rate, I highly recommend people giving Diz's Café a shot! read more

Friendly staff, super clean restaurant, and lots of menu options! I have a bunch of food allergies and the mix and match options make it super easy to find a lot of things I can eat!! We had the specials last week- really yummy zucchini fries with one of the best marinara sauces I have ever had, and the chicken cacciatore special- gave my mon and aunts chicken cacciatore a run for its money!!!! My husband had the buttermilk chicken Mac n cheese which did not disappoint! And we had to have some fries- hot and fresh! I was in the mood for a cocktail but didn't know what I wanted so I had Billy surprise me- he made me a delicious mai tai that hit the spot! I love that Diz's is really clean and the dining room is huge so there is plenty of room to spread out for social distancing. First time to Diz's, sat outside on a beautiful afternoon as met a friend for late lunch. Service was on point and very friendly staff. We both enjoyed our meals tremendously. Decided to give this place a try and there's not much to say other than incredible. It's not fine dining or anything, but definitely a 5 star restaurant within the context of this type of american fare. The Mac n cheese was phenomenal and generally the chicken on a dish like that is just an afterthought, but the buttermilk fried chicken (which shows up on many items on the menu) was phenomenal as well. Also, normally when you get a flatbread at these types of joints they pass as "fine" or "acceptable" at best. Not this one. The veggie flatbread was so savory and unique with fresh sauteed veggies griddled onto the flatbread. Definitely will be coming back so please give these guys your business so they can survive through these tough times. Manchester needs places like this to survive! I do not usually write reviews but thought this place was worthy after our first experience. We got takeout tonight and it was excellent. We started with the mushroom appetizer special and some chicken wings, both were great! My girlfriend had the buttermilk chicken Mac and cheese and loved it. Our son had the Diz's Burger and it was huge and he thought it was great. I had the chicken Parm and thought it was probably the best I have had outside of a specialty Italian dining establishment. The marinara was amazing and the chicken was tender with a light batter that was delicious. I had read about this place online and have been wanting to try it for a while. I am very glad that we did and will definitely be a repeat customer. I know they opened at at probably the worst time in the industry and I will do my best to get the word out about this place so that they become a fixture in downtown. I cannot wait to try dining inside as their cocktails look amazing. Give Diz's a try and you will not be disappointed. read more

Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was solid comfort food. We had mushrooms they were real mushrooms hand breaded in a yummy cornmeal batter. My guy had a burger which he said was very good and not over cooked like so many places do now a days. I had the fish which was decent, the French fries were also hand made a delicious. The only thing that I missed having was some coleslaw that always comes with fish plates. Portions were big. The service was also very good our waitress was very attentive.
