I dream about this place all the time. It's exceptional service everytime. The food comes out fairly quickly and taste dynamite every single time. You order at the counter when you walk in and you can sit down anywhere. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The interior is fairly clean and very organized and the condiments are always stocked. They have a self serve water and soda station. The lobster is on the pricier side. It used to not be $30 however it is very worth it. I love to get the warm lobster roll and it comes with a lobster butter. I like to get their coconut shrimp since it's hand battered on site and also their onion rings are also hand battered made to order. They have a really good smoky dipping mayo sauce that comes with the onion rings or fries. It is a very good sauce. I would say it's the saltier version of cane sauce and a small gear version as well. It's absolutely phenomenal. You will never find a better coconut shrimp or a better onion rings than here this place really does it very well better than any place I've ever had homemade. The lobster roll is very very fresh. I would definitely get it again. It is always always fresh. You'll never get a bad lobster roll here not like at the other places. I think this is the only place in Florida that does it the best I used to fly to Boston just to get a lobster roll and ever since I've been here I don't have to do that anymore lol. Their clam chowder soup is extra thick and that is the best type of clam chowder soup ever I loved just dip my onion rings in there and the coconut shrimp in there and the lobster roll in there. Great place near the beach and a short drive from Clearwater beach area. This place is small about 5 tables inside and a couple outside. The food is amazing. Coconut Shrimp - skip the fries and slaw and get the cup of chowder. The chowder is packed full of calms and is super delish. Ask for regular cocktail sauce this one comes with chili sweet sauce which is good but also over powering. The shrimp are HUGE you get about 6-7 of them. Garlic shrimp roll - flavor of goodness. Comes with fries we substituted for onion rings. Fried shrimp basket - nicely fried with slaw and fries. The staff were all super nice. read more

D.J.'s Clam Shack is a great little beachy restaurant for made-to-order seafood and more. Rumor has it they have a great lobster roll, but we opted for their delicious clam chowder and fish and chips. The chowder is the best we've had and is loaded with clams for authentic New England flavor.  And it comes with real oyster crackers! Love it! I was happy to see that their fish and chips features mahi, a local fish, instead of northern cod. I agree with the owner - "Eat local fish!" It was perfectly tender and sweet, and the coating was light and crispy with maybe a touch of onion powder for a little extra savory flavor. The owner was behind the counter and he brought our lunch to the table himself, so you know he is a "the buck stops here" kind of guy!  Super friendly and knowledgeable, keeping everyone happy with fresh seafood, and always on the scene to stay true to his vision of delicious food and great service. Seating indoors and out, a cooler of beer at the counter, lots of parking out front and gulf beaches across the street. Some friends and I visited around dinner time and had a great experience. The blue cheese wedge salad was great and the hot, buttered Lobster Roll was one of the best I've had in the area. It had a lot of whole pieces of lobster meat and the portion was perfect for the price. read more

We were at pass-a-grille beach and decided to drive up to Indian shores to eat here. We got the clam strips basket, fried shrimp basket, clam soup and steamed clams. Everything was delicious! Excellent lunch spot!! It's a small spot, but great and easy to order at the counter and grab a seat. We came for lunch on a Saturday (12:45) and easily snagged two tables for our large group. The servers were so friendly and prompt with taking orders and bringing out the food (although there was only one guy at the grill, so our large party of 8 reasonably had to wait a little. Everything we got, we loved!! I got the cold lobster roll (AMAZING, just as good as the ones you get in the northeast, not too much mayo and nice chunks of celery) with coleslaw and sweet potato fries (both delicious), my husband got the hot lobster roll (equally amazing) with "some of the best onion rings ever" according to many people in our group, and others got incredible mahi tacos (nice and tender with a spicy remoulade on flour tortillas), a shrimp po boy, and plump coconut shrimp. Great place to stop in for seafood! We just left the beach and were looking for seafood. This place came up on Yelp with good reviews. They did not disappoint, I had the Mahi Mahi tacos and hubby had fish and chips. It's small and we worried there was no place to sit. It didn't take long for a table to open up. The Maine lobster rolls were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and honestly even better than the ones we had at Bealls in Bar Harbor, Maine, which says a lot. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and the staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because they don't offer a kids' meal. For a spot that feels family-friendly, it was a bit frustrating that the kid-friendly items were on the pricier side, and the chicken tenders were a little too unique for my kids' tastes. We did not order the Lobster Roll due to the price and the fact that we were going to be eating dinner soon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. From the moment we walked in, Jimmy and Sarah were the friendliest restaurateurs we've encountered. It had a casual ambiance but was incredibly clean especially just a few weeks post hurricane! About five tables inside w/seating capacity of about 20 inside with a couple picnic tables and high tops outside. Solid, solid fried seafood dinner. Came twice and was very happy both times. I've heard so much about DJ's especially when I was in Key West, then come to find out we have a location here in Indian Rocks! A true blessing right there! Before I even arrived my expectations were high given the hype of the place--yet it did not disappoint! Upon arrival mid day on Saturday we were immediately greeted by the server/host. She was so attentive and recommended her favorites on the menu! One was the conch and I can't wait to try it next time I go, but I couldn't pass up fish tacos & my friend got a lobster roll (which can be so hit or miss). It would be an understatement to say we were pleased. We were both hungry after a Long Beach morning and we both left satisfied. My tacos were huge and I couldn't even finish the fries. My friend got a hot lobster roll with butter and my heavens I could've ate that as well. As known, lobster is not cheap and this roll was worth every penny off the $28 spent! I believe the tacos were about $17 which hit the spot too! We both got waters but they have a wide selection of bottled and canned alcoholic beverages I'd love to try! The restaurant had people coming and going but it wasn't crazy busy! I can see this place being very popular, but keep in mind there's only a few tables and parking is limited!
