I came her with my friend Andrea... to get her car registration & new plates. The car was previously licensed in California, so everything needed to be changed. The charge was a little over $200 but they got everything managed in 2 hours & even put on her license plates on for Free, as a Courtesy. The DMV is a nightmare & you could wait for hours. This will be a different review for me. First, let me say that the employees are personable and professional. I knew I might pay a premium for registering two vehicles; however, with few to no DMV appointments available due to the pandemic and insane lines on Saturdays at every DMV with no guarantee of getting service, we were desperate. I was prepared to try to negotiate a lower fee for two vehicles; however, I had no idea how many other fees they were charging! Six fees (30 business day service fee, title processing, "miscellaneous services," registration, plate fee and title mailing) for two vehicles came to $1,900.00. I feel like that takes advantage of people who are in a hard spot. After blinking a few times and confirming the fees, I said, "no, thank you" and left. Through a fluke, I had an appointment at the DMV and paid $298.50...TOTAL...for both vehicles. Understand what the convenience costs you before you visit. read more

My daughter went to get a smog test and they tuck her into register the car there... lying to her telling her the total cost of DMV registration plus their fee was a total of $249.00 plus smog check... finding out later in bank statement that they charge DMV fee $210 plus $249 their fee!!!! She end up paying $480 .... they're obviously not honest ... they took advantage of a young woman by not explaining her all the charges up front! People saying it's expensive definitely aren't lying. I wish I would have had another option but with everything going on and having just bought a car, I needed a title transfer done. To put it in perspective right off the bat, it costed me over $800 all said and done, and then another 20 when I picked up my plates. Listen really carefully when the person helping you explains things, they kind of made it sound like "oh yeah $___ is your total" but they're just talking about their own fee. I'm not saying they lie or try to deceive you but it did feel like they just try to talk to you a point where you accept one price and then they give you another, at which point you're just trying to be done with it. The time estimate they gave me was also kind of confusing. When it had been a week after the dmv appointment they had for me I called to ask when I'd see my plates come in (I had expected them to come within a few days but that was on me) and the guy on the phone said it could be as long as 60 days, and then 2 days later I got the text that my plates had come in. All in all they do what they're supposed to and got my stuff done. Just be prepared to spend nearly $1000 to transfer titles and be wary of not necessarily deceptive, but rather unclear wording to sell you. Gave 4 stars because the timing ended up being better than I was led to believe it would be. read more

Got suckered into buying a pack of car washes with my smog and was also supervised that it was going to cost me an additional $240 for them to "sit in line at the DMV" for me. I regret going here. They make it seem like it's more convenient but only if you have a cash to burn and honestly I have no problem sitting in a line or visiting a Albertsons DMV kiosk to avoid doing business here. What a rip off. Was also told that I would be getting a free car wash which I never received. I went in and enter a code that I had paid for and the machine said to wait for the car wash to start but it never did. I was out there for 15 mins until a worker came out and asked me what I was doing. He then went to a device on the wall and turned the car wash on. It's pretty unfortunate that I have to come back to this place to cash in all these car wash vouchers I paid for. Avoid at all cost. read more

Today was a breeze at the DMV. Only 20 people in line and it only took 20 minutes. I guess weekdays are worth the sacrifice of one work day. To start, new Real IDs will be mandatory by Nov. of 2020. This ID entitles you to a fast pass to board on: planes and federal government offices. The real ID act of 2005 in a brief synopsis is an act of congress, a bill that was given light by President Bush to help aid in national security. Homeland security through this bill mandates the proper verification paper work for all immigrants and U.S. citizens. The difference between the Real ID and a regular driver license is the star that is embedded on the upper right hand corner. The regular driver license reads "NOT FOR FEDERAL OFFICIAL USE". I recall renewals of driver license's are every 4 years but as I paid the hefty $42 bucks for renewal, I was informed that the driver license's new expiration is in 8 years. In a sense, the longevity of the license is worth the double payment. I want to give an honorable mention to our generous DMV rep Aaron Kos, he is the host with the most: caring, informative, and simplified. Customer service above par is always worth a really good review. DMV is not the most exciting place to visit. This state office usually filled with irate people (customer or DMV worker), at times make you dread the visit, however, Aaron made it worth the wait. Back in June, I had moved to Vegas and needed my registration transferred to NV. I dreaded having to go to the DMV so when I heard that registration transfers can be done at places other than the DMV I figured I would check out DMV Made Easy. This is so much better than the DMV! I was warmly greeted when I entered and was able to quickly see a rep. All of the staff was very friendly and informative. The paperwork and process was super quick and easy! I got a 2016 they offered me a $49 smog test and 12 car wash package. They did not mention it was only good for 90 days. I saw the receipt and thought ok my bad I did not ask. Then I asked them can they help me with my registration. Guy told me, " You're registration is $300.(I already knew that) But you know what's happening with the pandemic, we have to fall in line for you. And who knows when we'll actually open. So we'll do that for you for $255. So that's $550." I just said, "lemme think about that. I'll be back if I need to." The guy said, "Of course you will." Other smog kiosk would charge $10 more on top of the smog test. The reasons why I went here they were the only ones open in the beginning of May, and support our local businesses. So I drove to DMV that was closed found instructions on the door how to pay for registration online for free. As long as you did your smog test. That was opportunistic, If I was a trusting person I would have been had. Please be warned. read more

I recently moved back to Vegas from Hawaii and I really needed to get my car registered. I went to the DMV and had the absolute worst service ever, but I mean let's me honest who ever has a good time at the DMV? I was given a check list of what needed to be done before being able to go back and stand in line (again) to register my car. SMOG was the last thing I needed to do. Luckily, for me, I remembered the one thing going down Durango that has forever been burned into my memory: the giant monster truck with the bright colors and smog check on the corner of Durango and Flamingo. So down Flamingo I went. When I pulled into the smog check area, I was greeted by a warm friendly smile from Victor. DMV Made Easy was fantastic!!! After getting he runaround from the DMV . I left the DMV frustrated after having them tell me the transaction I was trying to do was illegal. I noticed woman waving a sign that said all DMV services. So I stopped and talked to her and told her what I had. I went to the closest place to get a smog test for my car and I noticed that they had signs up for services that I was impressed with..... they would go to dmv and wait in line and take care of all my paper work to get my registration. It was easy, professional and the best part was that I was able to do my errands and not stress at dmv. Usually I wouldn't have mind doing this myself but what a great service when you don't have enough time in the day.
