Replaced it at no charge. But today when they came to check out why my toilet sometimes backed up, they recommended replacing the old low-flush model with a newer toilet. I asked for a quote to include all parts and labor, and was given one. They pulled the toilet, snaked the line, and installed the new toilet. Then when I went to pay the invoice, they increased the amount by $70! He said he needed to install a new flange which raised the cost. I watched the process and understand that he needed a new flange to bring the level up to the tile level. But he never indicated this would cost an additional $70! I specifically asked for the total cost. And would have appreciated him telling me during the process that he was adding another 12% to the cost. Now I feel like he took advantage of us. Buyer warning. Get all estimates in writing.

The sump pump permanently stopped working and my realtor recommended JFK Plumbing. Within less than an hour the commercial grade sump pump was not only installed, but JFK also cleaned the "pit," removing both water and gravel. By the time they finished and left there was no sign that anyone had been in the room, let alone replaced the sump pump, which also has a three-year warranty. Highly recommend them for any plumbing service.

After explaining that I was still waiting on something (even a verbal) I was interrupted and with a very condescending frustrated voice told "Mam, we are doing the best we can. We are busy." A simple estimate should not take over a week and the client should never be spoken to in this manner. If you are looking to have something done in a timely manner, unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. Very unprofessional.

They had a lead technician (Steven) hop on the phone and get information about what I was experiencing, before finding a way to slot me in. My experience with this company has been absolutely amazing. My hot water stopped working in my…read morehome and so had a leak. I requested service through my home warranty and they dispatched my work order to this company. I received a phone call within 30 mins and informed them of the issue. A technician (Ed) arrived to my house within 2 hours. He was able to stop the leak and light whatever piece needed to be lit (I don't know the correct terminology). He explained that it was a temporary fix but my water heater needed to be replaced. He explained the whole process and gave me an estimate of what I could be paying. He ordered the parts needed and I received a call days later saying that they were ready to come back and gave me another estimate (similar to the first amount). I agreed to pay and set my appt. Ed arrived early and worked very quickly. He was so friendly and explained everything to me. The person I spoke to on the phone (I believe it was Dave - I'm not 100% sure...) was also so friendly and was able to take my payment via phone.
