The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

I was informed that the pipes would have to be replaced because my system was corroded! During this conversation, I noticed that the *meter was still in place!! Earl informed me that the *meter would be removed and reinstalled in order to get to the water heater out of the space; I was remembering that it wasn't removed with the prior installation. Upon contacting my tenant, I learned that the plumber had visited, did minimal work, stayed for less than an hour, and left. I immediately checked my credit card and found an unauthorized charge of $495. The next morning, I called your number but received no answer. When I reached the plumber directly, he admitted he was going to call me but chose not to because it was "too late." He claimed the $495 was a "inspection fee" and that an additional $450 would be needed to complete the repair. We had a brief dispute, and I informed him I would pursue this matter through formal channels. I have since disputed the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and am awaiting resolution. Meanwhile, your continued efforts to contact the property owner through third parties to seek payment are inappropriate and unacceptable. However, as it turned out my water heater type didn't need an expansion tank, but a pressure relief valve. The tech explained the problem very clearly, installed a pressure relief valve, and was even creative by installing a pressure gauge where the previous plumber incorrectly installed an expansion tank. He was the first person to respond to my request on Yelp and offered to come out and diagnose the issue but recommended that I call the manufacturer to see if it's still under warranty and find someone familiar with the brand. He spent several minutes talking with me and it felt like he was really trying to help me with the best possible solution--not just get my business. That's rare these days and if I ever do need to replace my system or get other work done, I will be calling them!
