Decided to randomly check the boiler room in my home and found a leak unbeknownst to me. Semi panicked as saw the potential that could result. Immediately got on Nextdoor to see if one of my neighbors knew any good plumbers in the area. I always abide by the contracting rule of contact at least 3 vendors. I work majority through text but contacted Mr. Taylor via text in the morning and got a call midday. His call came at the perfect time as the guy I had been texting all morning went mute which meant plumbing was his side job and I needed someone who could come fix that day. Mr. Taylor's call was unique as he walked me through everything that was wrong with my expansion tank from a simple picture. We talked for 10 minutes and his words were simple. "I can fix it, but I won't fix it like it's currently installed, I will correct it so it doesn't happen again" He's honest and knows his stuff and he's reasonable for the time and effort he spent. He picked up the supplies needed that were outside of what he carried in his truck and itemized the heck out of my final invoice and believe me I appreciated every bit of it. I respect any professional who can break their craft down to the point where anyone can understand and he does that. You have got to see these pictures, I went from an unstable leaking structure that could've did big time damage to something that's solid and if it were to ever cause a problem it would be mitigated by the 2.1 gallons of water that might exist and not the unlimited amount that was possible in the past. I've found my new plumber and i suggest you take a look as well.

Very happy with my service from B&C. They came when they said they would, which was same day. Clearly explained the issue- a blocked main drain line- and why they knew this to be the case. Explained how they planned to resolve it and the costs upfront. Bill was very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and honest. I will be using B&C for future plumbing needs and would recommend them to friends and family.

He responded to my plumbing concern even though he doesn't service my area. He told me what he recommended I do.

Great customer. Mr. Taylor identified the issues immediately and fixed the issues the same day. The cost was reasonable.

Bill Taylor from B&C came out, found an outdoor access all the others had missed, and was able to clear the blockage.

I read the reviews and saw the pics and was feeling good vibes regarding this company. Let me start…read moreby saying that I was so excited when Earl informed me that I could receive same day service. I sent pictures, discussed the process, pricing, and even what to expect and how others prepare once the water was turned off. The men arrived on time, they were greeted and then proceeded to tackle the four hour project. After removing my system, I was presented with price gouging ...$350!! I was informed that the pipes would have to be replaced because my system was corroded! During this conversation, I noticed that the *meter was still in place!! Earl informed me that the *meter would be removed and reinstalled in order to get to the water heater out of the space; I was remembering that it wasn't removed with the prior installation. After sending multiple pictures, giving the year that my home was built, and believing I was dealing with exceptional professionals, I was not expecting any surprises. After being presented with an unexpected fee, I called Earl and he didn't take responsibility for not informing me that there could be a chance that the condition of my pipes could be an issue ... at this point I'm remembering to breath and just asking Jesus to take the wheel!! "Supply and install new manufacture required expansion tank and relief valve vent tube" was included in the initial proposal. Looking at the before and after pics, the condition of my pipes was not an oversight! Please be careful and request an itemized statement with the proposal b/c Earl informed me that b.c the *meter was not removed, I received a credit and only owed an additional $100 ...what a shame. Thank you to the men who did the work and left my home spotless!! Blessings.

He claimed to have spoken with my tenant, understood the issue, and could come later that day for an inspection. He stated clearly that there would be a flat rate inspection fee of $59.95, as advertised and above message sent to me via your Yelp page. I provided my credit card number based on that agreement and waited for updates. By 8 PM, I had received no call. Upon contacting my tenant, I learned that the plumber had visited, did minimal work, stayed for less than an hour, and left. I immediately checked my credit card and found an unauthorized charge of $495. The next morning, I called your number but received no answer. When I reached the plumber directly, he admitted he was going to call me but chose not to because it was "too late." He claimed the $495 was a "inspection fee" and that an additional $450 would be needed to complete the repair. We had a brief dispute, and I informed him I would pursue this matter through formal channels. I have since disputed the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and am awaiting resolution. Meanwhile, your continued efforts to contact the property owner through third parties to seek payment are inappropriate and unacceptable. I hereby put you on formal notice of the following: Your advertising and initial representations were deceptive and constitute fraud; You intentionally avoided contacting the cardholder at the time of visit under the pretense of it being too late; You charged a significantly higher amount without authorization; No actual repair was performed since the water was still leaking. and I have written statements, messages, and screenshots from multiple tenants to confirm this. You are instructed to cease all informal contact attempts with me or any associated parties. This matter will be resolved solely through formal and lawful means. If you believe you have a legitimate claim, you are entitled to pursue it through legal channels--as am I. All further communication from my side will be documented and may be used in future legal or consumer protection actions.

Beware: Overpriced, Misleading, and Unhelpful…read more I called A&F Plumbing for a $59 service visit to find out why my water heater was not heating -- seemed reasonable. The tech was polite. That's where the positives ended. He relit the pilot light and THEN told me it was $250 just to relight the pilot light -- something most plumbers include in the basic fee. After paying that ridiculous charge, my water still never got hot. He didn't check, wait to see - - just said he relit it. He did make sure he had a sales pitch though. Without fully diagnosing the problem, he jumped straight to recommending a $875 burner assembly or a $5,250 replacement water heater, (complete with estimates) claiming mine was 11 years old, but my house is only 9 years old. Either the math was off, or they were hoping I wouldn't question it. I paid $250 for nothing -- no fix, no follow-up, just out the window, whoever recommended them should be ashamed of themselves. Definitely a bait-and-switch. If you're looking for real solutions and honest pricing, I strongly suggest calling someone else.
