I broke the AC compressor suction line on my Prius 2006. It only needed a new suction line and a recharge of refrigerant. Big O wanted $986.48 for this. DNA Automotive's estimate was $494.74 - literally half of Big O's estimate. I had DNA do the work, of course. The estimates were not hard to compare and were quite clear. I have trust issues when it comes to the "quickie-lube" places and dealerships so I made an appointment to bring my truck in to DNA for a simple oil change and battery replacement. They understood that I'd be waiting while the service was done and got my vehicle on the rack right away. While waiting in the spacious and comfortable lounge area, I received a text with an attachment of the diagnostics that they'd run, including photos. A little over an hour later they had me on my way and I received both a follow-up text from the Service Manager the next day to see if I was happy with the service as well as a link to a questionnaire. Prices seemed to be reasonable and in-line with what you'd pay elsewhere and the Service Manager offered a $20 coupon to knock a little off of the total. DNA is the perfect combo of the local business that you want to support coupled with the more advanced services/features of the franchises that you sometimes want to avoid. All around amazing service. These guys went the extra mile to make sure my custom AWD '03 Chevy Astro was safe and ready for snow camping and rock crawling over streams. I had the pleasure of working with Leo and Marco at the front desk. They offered advice from their years of experience, and explained to me thoroughly the work they were doing. Some of the parts are difficult to get on a '03 vehicle, but they had no problem sourcing them for me and updating me on shipping times. My Van rides so smooth now, and I have the assurance of safety when I am in the backcountry out of cell service that I will be able to enjoy the great outdoors rather than worrying about any vehicle problems. What an amazing experience today! Had front and rear differential as well as engine oil change for my truck. Shop was very clean, techs super professional, and the service was completed on time and under the original quote. Shop even identified a potential Problem with the rear differential seal, they went above and beyond pulled the face plate off, re-sealed and still completed the whole Job under the original quoted price! They also identified an item which was not currently in need of repair, but something to watch for the future. They could Have easily recommended repair today but said it could wait.
