All I can say is I wish we had Doc B's near the beach. I can honestly say that my visit to Fenton was so wonderfully impacted by the staff there. Whitney was truly about her customers; Aiden brings the personality that wants you to get to know him more. I also had the pleasure of meeting JT who upon our meeting I knew he understood that work is not easy, yet the customers make the business and are so appreciated, and he definitely shows this with class. Restaurant is gorgeous and out waiter (who was from Austin) was wonderful. The crispy oyster lettuce wraps were very cooked and so dried out. The twisted noodle bowl with tofu was so good. My husband had the dragon burger and he loved it. We will go back. read more

This place was a great choice. They had a good variety of familiar favorites, but what was really nice was that the familiar favorites all had unique twists to them so that the food didn't seem so run of the mill. If you were looking for a place that has a good variety of options then this is the place to go. I had the flank steak, my wife had the chicken parmesan and we shared the guacamole that came with the sweet potato chips. The flavors were great and the prices were decent for what we were served. Finally, the atmosphere and service were just as great. We were attended to, but not overly so. The waitstaff were polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We will definitely be back! read more

They did make a mistake with my order. Manager came to several tables but not ours- I thought he should have come to all the tables as it's a new restaurant and wasn't crowded. This place sits in an area called Fenton with lots and lots of things to do. I love the area as well as this restaurant. I never been to a place where the service is great and super fast. Friendly staff... I ordered the ribs and things with a side of butter for my mashed potatoes right and bam it was ready in a flash. Now usually when food come out way too fast something is wrong with it like too it's cold, dry, or just all around messed up. Not here. Heck the side of butter beat my meal out. I had asked in advance for a side of butter and a minute later here it go! Butter on a saucer just lookin at me like what! I'm here. Butter Baby!!! I truly enjoyed this place, the service, and the food. I will be back someday. Keep the butter comin baby! I'll be back. The ambience was good. The server had a good personality. The food was just so incredibly mid for the price. I really feel like everything we ate could've been found at an Applebees and at the same quality. It was incredibly underwhelming. We could not believe this place had only been open three weeks when we went. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our waiter Jacob was terrific and actually helped us add another college to the list of schools we already planned on visiting with our daughter in the area. The food was fresh and delicious. They make homemade sweet potato chips and pair it with their homemade guacamole, a must try. I tried their Cajun redfish -- delicious. Shrimp appetizer had huge shrimp and my husband loved that and his smashburger. Cannot recommend this place enough. read more

The location and ambiance of the restaurant is perfect, however, the food is lacking flavor. The drinks were amazing. We had the cherry old fashioned and the watermelon drink. The salmon burger was dry. Salmon was overcooked and lacked flavor. The filet mignon was bland and the jalapeño potatoes lacked flavor as well. The appetizer we wanted was not available and we settled with the chicken wings which were okay, tender but once again lacking flavor. read more

I've tried a few different things and the Food is good. The jalapeño potato side is the best imo especially with the aioli sauce- they aren't spicy and the "kick" is very minimal IF you feel anything at all. Salads are huge, chicken sandwich is crispy, salmon is moist and smash burgers are cooked well. My only food complaint so far is the sweet potato fries, they're decent but not crispy which throws off the taste for me and the sweet tea is Not sweet Other than that the only other issue I've had is the condensation from ceiling vents drip down sometimes. Careful if you're seated right underneath one. Service is good though and the vibe is nice. A nice place to grab a bite with friends! read more

I recently tried Doc B's overall the experience was good all the staff was very attentive. I got the Hugo Spritz has my drink it was very refreshing I really enjoyed it. We got the kale and artichoke dip it was good just wish it had been a little hotter it was more so luck warm. For my entrée I got the blacked fish sandwich. Overall the flavors were good however for the size of the sandwich I think the filet of fish could have been a little thicker. The bread to meat ratio was off. However I would like to give the restaurant again to try another entrée. read more

Tried it out a few weeks back right around the time they opened and it was great. We sat near the kitchen and noticed a chief walk in from the side door. He walked right up to our table to check on us and asked how everything was. We ended up chatting for 10 mins and learned about the other restaurants they own around the US. He recommended some dishes then left us to eat. After we finished he had sent us a free chocolate cake dessert which was amazing. Hoping they get busier as people try it! read more

We ate at the bar on Friday evening & our server/mixologist Jo made our experience perfect. She was friendly & informative, mixed our tasty drinks & made sure we had all the things. It was busy & hectic but she showed no tension in her interactions with us. The servers have to lift/place bar guests' dishes over bar glassware & other awkwardly stationed items & we were impressed by how she & the others behind the bar handled this unique challenge. Our friend paid for his drink but after he left they claimed it was not paid for and made us pay for it. Waitress complete dismissed our comments regarding the situation. Very small issue but could've easily been resolved. Overall food was pretty decent but a little pricey. First of all the restaurant is beautiful. Very open with beautiful views of the kitchen. Our server was beyond helpful, very attentive and willing to give food recommendations. And now for the food. I enjoyed the No. 1 ahi tuna salad. Delicious and beautifully presented. My partner had the steak sandwich and it was delicious as well. This is a relatively new restaurant in Fenton, and although we visited the bar before, we never had dinner there. Until tonight. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the cuisine nor the service. We ordered the buffalo shrimp as appetizer since the original appetizers we wanted were not available and we were not told up front. The buffalo sauce was overpowering and masked the taste of the shrimp. The ranch dip, however, was pretty good. We ordered sodas and we had to ask the waiter to refill since she ignored the empty glasses on the table more than once. This should never happen. We had the rigatoni with giant meat ball and the petit filet mignon as the main courses. They were bland and quite unimpressive. All in all, it was an unpleasant experience. read more

Wow. A new restaurant that actually has its act together before opening. I've been so disappointed with all the corners cut with new dining options in this area, but Doc Bs has it right. Ive had dinner here 4 times since they opened, so i really hope it stays that way. Service is amazing and genuine. Food is consistently high quality and delicious. You're met at the door by one of the managers, if that tells you anything. I will take out of town visitors here every time. Great, great work by everyone working here. We enjoyed Doc B's on a Friday evening with no reservation. They told us we'd have a table in 30 mins; it was ready in just 6. Very pleasant surprise! The ambiance, service, and food were all wonderful. Our server, Jordan, was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended I have the fish sandwich - best I've EVER had! My fiancé enjoyed the chicken parm. The manager JT even came to introduce himself, check on our table, and bagged up our to go boxes.
