Disclaimer: rarely 5 stars as there is always room for improvement. Well, OK...I've been watching reviews from the lovely Nextdoor app neighbors since the restaurant opened about 2 months ago. Last week I finally was able to give it a try. First off, the signage is hard to see, but it's located north off Western and 260 behind a gas station, lol; but, once you find it, the building has been refurbished and quite honestly, it's very clean and cute. The interior is roomy with lots of seating, a small bar, another complete room behind the main dining room as well as tons of outdoor space and seating including corntoss and another bar. There are TVs which give it a sports bar feeling, but it's very family oriented as well. Now to the food. The menu is pretty vast...I was rather surprised because it seems really ambitious. From what I've read and talking with staff, most everything is made in house which is a blessing. Great drink menu which I'll try at a later date...LOL! I opted for the meatball sandwich, which our server recommended. I will say, it was very good. Meatballs were nicely seasoned, the marinara had a bit of a kick and it was served on a garlic toasted hoagie with a nice amount of provolone. The fries, which typically I don't order, were crispy, light and airy and not greasy! They held their shape really well and was better than I would have expected. My compadre had the pork sandwich which looked amazing. He said it was tender with chunks of pineapple! Nice BBQ sauce and hand made onion rings (upcharge) which were sublime. The batter was crispy, not greasy, and held form. Too many times I've taken a bite only to remove the entire onion and be left with breading. Not these ones! Service was good - staff is very sweet and accommodating, answered questions and checked on us. Really pleased to have another great option here in the VV. The service was great. Ashley was very sweet. The drink was good. Unfortunately the food was not just overpriced but it was very lackluster. The beef Wellington bites came as two little tiny pieces and my husband and I wash took a small bite and it was just mush and dough. The artichokes crostinis were good and fries just fries but good! Drink was tasty but the regular lemonade was watered down and not very flavorful. I might try it again as it seems like it has such potential but until then, the only reason I got to put three stars was the hospitality and ambiance. read more

I feel so bad for this place. It's very cute, and welcoming, but they were so confused as they tried to take care of 18 of us recently. Of course we had a reservation but virtually every order came out wrong. I hope they get trained on what the menu says and hire more people. read more

We were excited to try a new place in the area. I don't think it's been open very long and it was pretty quiet for a Saturday evening so I'm hoping it will get more popular. The service was great-very attentive. The vibe was casual and with more people I think it will be even more fun. Our food was all delicious. I had the salmon with the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts-all very tasty with excellent sauces and large portions. There were plenty of choices on the menu, too. The outdoor dining area looks really nice (with corn hole!) that I want to try once it's a little warmer out). I'm happy to have another really nice option in the area! read more

I live 1/4 mile down the road and I've given it 3 tries. EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW. 20+min to take an order. 30 (more) min to bring out a simple burger and fries. I've never seen more than 3 tables, but they just cant seem to hack it. Will not be back. Do not reccommend. They won't be in business long read more

They seemed distracted, and disorganized. The food was overpriced and complicated by changing the most simplest of dishes to be gastro pub style. It was all too salty. read more

This place just opened in Jan 2026. We were there early June 26. First waitress was not interested in waiting on us, seemed like we disrupted her chat with the locals. I got the Chef special which was a bone in Ribeye. It's was not a ribeye but a different cut, it did taste good. Wife got a Caesar Salad that was Iceberg lettuce, a little perm cheese. She was not impressed. Atmosphere was clean and white patio was nice. They need to pull it together if they want to attract customers. Nice new place, located in the Verde Villages. It is essentially right next to Rte 260, but you cannot see it from the road, since there is an embankment next to it. Anyhow, the decor is clean, new, modern, pretty, just excellent. I myself do not particularly love that much of the seating is high-tops, but this is a very personal choice. Even the bathrooms are pretty and sparkling. The biggest problem is that they use CANOLA oil for their frying. I guess nobody told them, but the health problems are huge; you can read Dr. Mercola to learn the details (overload of omega-6 is very harmful to your system). But most seed oils are bad for you, and canola oil is the absolutely worst. What should they use? Beef tallow is great. The new Bullpen restaurant in Camp Verde uses that, and this is why I will return there. Duck fat is good, avocado oil is good, olive oil is good. But canola oil is only good for shortening your life span. Management: Please change!!! Yes, you can get beef tallow at Sysco, if that's where you get your deliveries. Now, onto the dining experience. I got barbacoa tacos and a garden salad. The tacos had nothing inside except the beef. But they did come with tortilla chips, guacamole, and pico de gallo. I do not think pico is an edible accompaniment, so I left it behind. The guac and the chips were fine, as were the tacos, if you do not expect stuffed-full ones. The salad was very nicely presented, but it was iceberg lettuce. Not so good. High school cafeteria is not a great culinary benchmark. They do have quite a wide menu. Because of canola oil, I would stay away from all fried foods. But that does leave a lot of choices. Meat is surprisingly expensive. Elk medallions $38, plate of brisket $32, So, I hope they do well. But PLEASE change out canola oil for something that does not damage people's health. read more

I would give Verde Ranch Grill 4.5 stars. We spend the month of May each year in Camp Verde. We are from Pennsylvania and enjoy trying new places in the area to eat. This was a great find. The food was really good, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the dining area was clean and nicely arranged. We will definitely be returning here before heading home to PA. read more

Our server was Christian. He did a great job! I had the chicken Alfredo pizza. The Alfredo sauce was very salty. Husband had a burger which he loved. Very cute inside! The only thing is the chairs hurt your butt after a while. Will go again to try something else. read more

Ordered mushroom Swiss burger was so salty was terrible took mushrooms off after tasting one it was so salty they were supposed to be sautéed the liquid that they had on them was so salty that three hours later my mouth and lips were still dry and burning considered going to emergency room for salt poisoning my wife had the French dip with London broil and it tasted like left over meat I told them about my burger and they said. They would take it off the bill when they brought the bill they still charged me for half the burger avoid this place if you don't want to hurt your tastebuds had hopes for a new hot spot but will never go back read more
