Came here on Christmas Eve with friends after a hike. This place was unexpectedly good and the portions are a nice size. This place offers breakfast and lunch, not just crepes. I ordered the waffle plater, but a couple of my friends got crepes and they were huge! My waffles were nice and fluffy, not dry. It came with two eggs which I ordered sunny side and also some breakfast potatoes. Potatoes were seasoned nicely and had a good texture to them. We got their chorizo breakfast burrito with their roasted potatoes, a Dulce de Leche crepe and a cappuccino. It all was DELICIOUS. It hit the mark and was perfect for my husband and I. The flavors were on point and there was nothing left. The food came out quickly. The service was friendly enough. They also have an option where you can pay via QR code on your receipt ot the front, which I can appreciate. The burrito and crepe were $18 a piece, so not a steal, but definitely hit the mark and were quality portions. I would definitely return to visit them on my next trip in the area. read more

First of all, the place was SPOTLESS!!! I ordered the Bananas Foster crepe. I was going to get some scrambled eggs, but the price quoted to add them was prohibitive for me. I am thankful, though, because I could not even finish the crepe by itself. The crepe was pretty good. For all that was put into it, I think it could have had a little more flavor. I asked for some extra maple syrup and that helped a lot. The coffee was good, hot, and plentiful. The service was friendly and prompt. If you are a crepe fan I would recommend you try the place. The restaurant has a good presentation of the food online. Our server was terrific--friendly, attentive. However, the food itself was disappointing. I originally ordered the country fried steak and requested the gravy on the side, but I was told that wasn't allowed. I found this surprising, as it seems like a simple request. Instead, I asked for less gravy, which they accommodated. When my food arrived, the steak was extremely overcooked, hard and chewy. The server kindly offered to have it remade, but when the cook came out, they firmly explained that the "chicken steak" would always be hard. That didn't seem right, so I decided to order something else instead. I switched to chicken and waffles, like my husband had ordered, but unfortunately, his meal was also tough. Mine was slightly better but still too firm, and the breading was overly salty. While I appreciate the server's great service, the cook's approach felt a bit strong--after all, no one wants to struggle to eat tough, chewy food. It was obvious that there was no manager/owner on duty because the two "servers" never refilled our drinks, checked up on us, or grabbed us the hot sauce we asked for. The restaurant wasn't even busy. We had to get up to go pay. The workers were like zombies. About 1 every 300 times my wife and I dine out, we don't leave a tip when the service is this atrocious. The choriza crepe was FANTASTIC, not too spicy and filled with meat and egg. I would totally recommend it. However the Tinga Crepe was cold, we told the staff anout it and they immediately redid it, however still cold. I think the shredded chicken is taken straight from the fridge and thrown on the crepe, and it simply doesnt have enough time to heat up. I love a good crepe so I was glad to find Sedona Crepes during a recent visit. I had to nutella crepe with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon and the portions were quite generous. The crepe was really big and filled with nutella, bananas, and strawberries. And it was so delicious. The egg portion was quite large and easily about 4 eggs, I generally only need 1 or 2 so I probably should have asked or specified how many eggs.
