Like I said, I can't believe they served us that food. The "smoothies" are just ice and syrup. The setting right on the beach is lovely. And the service is fast and friendly. But I'd recommend almost anywhere else for bar food.

I'm not sure what we did to bother the staff so much besides arriving right at 7 am, but the experience was terrible and we won't be back here even though we have a food credit through the resort. Not that it will do any good, but we will be reaching out to the hotel management because they clearly have a problem here. I don't think they care because they have a captive audience on the resort that is always new. If you're staying at the resort , this is not a place to actually eat a meal.

Dockside Bar & Grill in Marathon is everything you want in a Keys waterfront spot--great food, cold drinks, and unbeatable views. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, perfect for watching the boats come in while enjoying a meal. The seafood is fresh and flavorful, and everything we tried was cooked perfectly. Well we went to the grill on tuesday night sept 19 (2023) to have dinner but the restaraunt was closed with a small sign that said open sept 25. So i guess this review to warn you not to visit in the next two weeks. read more
