    Omelette and fruit

Breakfast here could take a while so allocate more time if you're in a hurry. Specialty coffee will also take a while as well from the grab and go area due to only having one barista. It's super chill and the view of the pool / marina is very relaxing. The omelet is cooked well but the fruit looked a bit old. The donut holes were meant to be filled with ricotta en served with multiple dipping sauce. It was not filled and only came with a caramel sauce. The waiter was gone for 10-15mins after dropping off the food. So we ended up only getting cold chocolate sauce when we were almost done.

Dinner here was an adventure. Our was rainy, so we could barely see the lighthouse. Service started out great, yet our waitress was having an off night and things went downhill for a few of her other tables and eventually impacted us. Our cocktails were good - I can still taste the yummy key lime pie martini that I had. The starter special we had was good. Dinner was okay. My scallops weren't the great and his meat wasso undercooked he sent it back. We went somewhere else for dessert.

We stayed at the Faro Blanco resort and visited here pretty much everyday during our stay. At the heart of it, this place is basically a pool bar/ restaurant at the resort. We ordered food and desserts on multiple occasions and drinks pretty much everyday. I am going to preface my review by saying that I really wanted to like them and they disappointed me each time I gave them another chance. Let me start with the good. The ambiance is great - there was live music in the evening each day, the place was buzzing with people and the ocean/ lighthouse view is very pretty. The decor is nice - island + lighthouse themed and the sofas as comfortable. The pool itself was abysmally small tbh, but since this is November, there isn't a whole lot of time spent in it. Drinks were fine - overpriced, but we are on an island resort. I actually really liked my virgin pina colada. Ragz found his drinks to be just okay. Service is awful - I truly felt a little discriminated against by one server specifically - tall dude with sideburns who saw us EVERY freaking day and knew we were staying at the resort. Wouldn't offer us a menu or check in on us while he did it with every other patron etc. But whatever - he's the server, I'm not. He also overcharged us for dessert and drinks twice - we let it go sadly. Megan our other Bartender/ server was great - a little frazzled but working way harder than sideburn dude tbh. We always ordered at the bar or the sofa area ( which means Ragz was walking up to the bar to order himself), so I can't speak to their sit down service at all. Food - really below average in my opinion. Fish tacos had overcooked fish, the mushroom Wellington ( thanksgiving special) was bland and super dry ( a pity because it could have been delicious). The potatoes were so underdone we had to send them back. Fries were okay - could have been crispier. They were out of vanilla ice cream 3 days in a row - we had both the crème brûlée and the rum baba with coconut ice cream (and not a bad choice btw). The ice cream portion sizes compared to the dessert itself were way too small. The crème brûlée was okay- I've had way better. The rum baba was a hit once and a miss the other time. The second time it was dry and not enough rum sauce or ice cream to help it sadly. I'll be honest - our experience with the bartender/ server coupled with food is what's resulting in a 1 star review. Otherwise, I probably would have given it 3 stars. Sadly since we were staying at the resort there are very few other options. I will not be recommending the restaurant to anyone honestly, except for the vibe.

Dinner was great staff and excellent food. Love the bar staff too! The woman running breakfast is a bit unsure of how it all works and is less than friendly...plenty of tables and kept everyone waiting while in the back. We just got into go both days since they were a bit less organized. But the food was still excellent.

Happily a return visit for great service, food and drinks. Also, you can't beat the view of the marina and the gulf from the bar. Excellent personal service from Madi and Shannon. I was pleased to see the bar top wiped down between guests (the most basic, and most forgotten task). We split the chicken lollipop app which were huge and flavorful, as well as the French Dip. Great mid-upscale atmosphere. See you on the next visit to KCB/Marathon area!

Came just to check this place out it was pretty good food the bang bang shrimp tacos are really good!!! It's really chill and beautifully laid out... definitely a fun In the sun and upscale place I like it!!!! The oysters were okay I'm used to huge gulf oysters but these were good just a little on the small side... the drinks are good I had a traditional margarita and an ipa it's a hazy so it was my kinda drink.... This place is so peaceful , def a place to stay if you come visit..... did I forget to mention they have a really good happy hour 3-6 guess I cane right on time.

    Fish and chips

We were thrilled with our experience at Lighthouse Kitchen. Our family enjoyed food from both land and sea. We'd recommend the fish and chips (the vinegar fries are to die for), Mojo Chicken, Lobster Mac and Lighthouse Burger (the sauce is so unique). Atmosphere was lovely!

Waiting in line, then cafeteria seating.

New Year's Eve and this is where we're stuck. $360 a couple. Ridiculous. Lots of families, no service and a bad cafeteria atmosphere.

Absolutely love this place! Beautiful view & they have a pool that overlooks the ocean as well. We sat at the outside bar and had Tyler as our bartender both times! He was absolutely awesome and made the experience so much better! We enjoyed the fish dip, scallops & baked oysters. Everything was phenomenal and we would totally order again. This was my favorite spot in Marathon.

In need of an upscale, classy refuge from your hot, sun filled yacht? This is the clean, cold, ample chill spot you seek. Friendly service. Music loud enough to create a mood. Drink here. Eat here. Wear your stilettos here. Nose and pinky up here. I hate key lime pie; but I will def be back for more right here. Not like any other key lime I've seen or tried. My perfectly shaped, delicate waistline appreciated the fresh berries.

We got seated inside just as the sun was starting to set. Sadly all the guests that had finished eating right before us decided to walk over to the dock outside the restaurant which just so happened to be the exact viewing location for the sunset so we didn't get any really good photos of it bc there were so many people over there videoing it and taking photos. It was still nice scenery while we waited for our food though. I ordered ceviche to start us off as our appetizer and it was really good. My dinner was a pasta dish with shrimp and scallops. The sauce was supposed to be a white cream sauce but it was really runny. Even adding extra Parmesan cheese to it didn't help thicken it. It tasted ok. Not my best pick. I had a choice of soup or salad with it. I chose their she crab soup and I'm glad I did. It was great. Almost reminded me of homemade chicken and dumplings soup just with crab. I really liked it. I should have stopped with that and the ceviche. My husband got a grouper fish sandwich. He thought it was good but the prices were a bit high for what it was. His fish sandwich was $29. Although good, not worth $29. My pasta definitely not worth the $31. May be a bit of a tourist trap but the food was decent.

I ordered the calamari and ordered it plain without all the extras. It was so greasy and chewy. There was oil all over the plate. I sent it back. Mahi sandwich was good, but you get such a small amount of fish. It was very thin, and then I had to wait an extra five minutes after the food got there to get my side.

The place was basically dead at around 630 pm. That should have been our first red flag. Their menu actually looks a lot better than the lighthouse grill, but ugh everything really sucked. I had the plantains with pink salsa. The plantains were stale and not crispy. The pink salsa was really delicious though and that's the only reason this place got the extra star from me. For $10, the portion size sucked honestly. Ragz and I shared the fish tacos. I opted for fried fish. The whole thing was silly. The taco shells were almost inedible corn that was so hard and chewy that we ended up eating just the filling. The fish was unidentifiable given how thick the breading was. There was not enough fish in each taco. Similarly there was not enough slaw, which seemed decent to eat. Overall a total waste of money ($26). Service was iffy at best. The server seemed nice to chat with but also seemed very new/ spaced out. Kept asking my husband to get another beer though he repeatedly said no. Gave us menus that looked like a shark ate them ( they were wet and chewed out). Forgot to get us any silverware or napkins. I'd honestly stay away from here. Not worth the time, money or calories.

During a recent day trip to the Florida Keys, I was determined to find a restaurant with beautiful…read moreocean views, and I'm so glad I discovered Lazy Days South! The only challenge was parking. The spaces were pretty tight, and several cars were parked over the lines, making it a little difficult to find a spot. Luckily, just as we arrived, someone was leaving, so it felt like it was meant to be. We walked in without a reservation and were seated almost immediately. The host gave us a warm welcome, and we were lucky enough to get a table outside with a stunning oceanfront view. The scenery alone made the visit worthwhile. Before arriving, I had looked over the menu and was happy to see they offered vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. I ordered the pasta with mushrooms, which was prepared with olive oil instead of a cream-based sauce. It was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. My niece ordered the Chicken Key West, which is similar to chicken Parmesan, and my sister had the house salad. Since pasta comes with a choice of soup or salad, I opted for the salad as well. One of the most memorable parts of the experience happened shortly after we sat down. The staff tossed leftover fish scraps into the water, attracting several large fish right below the restaurant. Watching them feed was such a unique and entertaining experience that added to the charm of dining by the water. Another little touch that I loved was when I went to the restroom. They had a locally made salt sugar scrub available for purchase, and it smelled so good that we ended up buying one to take home. I always appreciate when restaurants support local businesses. They also had complimentary key lime mints, which were absolutely delicious and such a fun Florida Keys touch. Our waiter was fantastic throughout the entire meal. He was attentive, friendly, and efficient. He kept our water glasses full, brought out bread promptly, checked on us regularly, and had the check ready as soon as we were finished. The food also arrived at a great pace. Unfortunately, I couldn't try any of their cocktails since I had to drive back to Miami afterward, but they looked delicious. Hopefully, on my next trip to the Keys, I'll be able to stay longer and enjoy one of their drinks. Overall, Lazy Days South has that classic old-Florida, laid-back atmosphere that feels welcoming and timeless. Between the beautiful ocean views, good food, unique waterfront experience, thoughtful local touches, and excellent service, it's definitely a place I'll be returning to on my next visit to the Keys.

However, the restaurant itself didn't seem particularly busy, with plenty of open tables throughout our visit. We waited nearly 20 minutes before our drink and food order was taken, and it took a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time we were seated until our food arrived. The food itself was mediocre and bland, especially after such a long wait. Inside, several tables remained unbussed, so we chose to sit outside. Unfortunately, the fan and light above our table weren't working, making the outdoor seating extremely hot and uncomfortable, even at 8 PM. I understand that busy nights happen, but the combination of the long wait, average food, maintenance issues, and overall lack of attention to the dining experience made this a disappointing visit.
