    Pier 8 Market

Stayed at Dockside for 11 days, so we ate here quite a few times during our stay. In my opinion, the food is mediocre and not worth the price. If you're planning on eating here a lot I suggest looking into the many options around the hotel that are just a short drive away. I get the convenience of the cafeteria style offerings, but you'll grow tired of eating it believe me. The Pier 8 Market is on the lobby level near the Tower 1 breezeway. As mentioned before this is a cafeteria style dining option that offers several different counter to order at depending on what you're wanting. They also have several beverages (wine and beer selections as well), fresh fruit, salad bar, and a section for grab n go sandwiches, chips, and ice cream. Pro tip: they have an option of buying a refillable souvenir cup. Depending on the amount of time you're here will determine the price, but you'll get unlimited refills. The cups are very small and don't fit a lot in them, so you'll be needing to refill them often. But is convenient to have for pool/resort days if you need one and doubles as a take home gift. On to the food: the chicken and waffles was pretty good. Chicken was crispy and juicy - the waffles were alright, nothing special here. The pizza is pretty good. Those two options were probably the best thing I ate at the market during my stay. They filled me up, but it wasn't over the top by any means. The bacon burger was not good. Bacon wasn't even cooked all the way and was flimsy. The Mac n cheese is nasty I recommend skipping if you're getting the chicken, go with the mashed potatoes. Our group didn't have a good experience with breakfast offerings. I had the steak and egg quesadilla and it had clearly been sitting on the warmer for a while. It was eatable, but upset my stomach once I got to the parks. Someone else got the ham and cheese croissant and he said it was rock hard and ended up throwing it away. Grab n go and the pastry/deserts were a great snack to grab! The donuts were alright along with several of their cheesecakes. If you're eating here, ask them to make it fresh; otherwise, you'll likely get something that has sat on a food warmer for an extended period of time. You'll have to wait longer, but it will make for a better dinning experience. You can get it for here to eat in the dinning room or to-go to eat in your room. Avoid peek dinner times to avoid long lines. Again, I suggest looking around the resort and getting a better meal for the same price.

The Pier 8 Market @ Dockside is the best. Fresh food, great variety..nice employees..I look forward to each & every meal at Pier 8. I'd live at Dockside if I could & eat daily at Pier 8!

Really good variety of foods for breakfast lunch and dinner! They have a buffet style salad bar, fruits, children's "lunch box" with uncrustables, cheese, juice and fruits. Chicken and waffles, pizza, pasta, sandwiches and their honey chicken with broccoli and rice is a must try! We've tried pretty much a good variety of what they offer and have never been disappointed. There's also plenty of seating and high chairs for the little ones Food is reasonably priced apart from breakfast which can be a little expensive for what you get, depending on what you order. Team members are always super friendly and patient and the service is great

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Makes it a great spot for a group of friends, family or even solo to enjoy a this restaurant and even the hotel. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Willing to help you with anything needed so you can enjoy your breakfast even more.

So many different choices! I really enjoyed the steak and egg quesadilla! Delicious and filling. Wait times were not bad at all and finding a table was easy. I do wish they would allow refills on fountain drinks, but alas.

Stale hashbrowns and a weird flavorless ham and cheese croissant thing.

Loved the convenience of this eatery being in our hotel during our stay. We had dinner once and breakfast two times here. Each time wasn't too horribly busy, and I really liked the private booths. Food was below average quality, so I'd recommend sticking with simple Pre-made items. Fresh squeezed orange juice and a surprisingly good croissant were the highlights. You can also purchase bottles of wine, cocktails, and cases of bottled water. Very expensive but convenient. Bottled water was around $3/ea. Or ~$15 for a case of 12.

Had food delivered to the room and they did a great job very easy to order when you're in the hotel.

One can argue it's still that way, but I didn't think that this place was as nice as it was! We parked at the parking garage and walked over instead of doing valet. Even at 9pm this area was very busy, including this restaurant. We had a reservation and were led to a half-table/half booth opposite the bar area which was pretty loud from the the music but we made due. The decor is very Hamptons, NY, beach house vibes. The bathrooms were nearby kinda. You had to walk down a long hall to them but once you get there they are gorgeous, spacious and clean. I got one drink, the Cucumber Elderflower (vodka, st. germain, cucumber, lemon, basil oil) and it was beautiful looking. It tasted great as well. I tried to go easy on eating but that was hard lol. I personally got the half dozen raw oysters, half east coast and half west coast. My fiance got the Crab and Shrimp Bruschetta to share ( lump crab and shrimp with sweet chili aioli on crispy ciabatta). Wow, these were so delicious and creamy, not to mention the generous portion of crab and shrimp topping. This can get messy if you don't pay attention. I had ordered the Seafood Gnocchi (pillowy asiago gnocchi with shrimp, calamari, and P.E.I. mussels in a calabrian chili tomato garlic sauce) and he got the Blackened Sea Bass ( barramundi with coconut rice, broccolini, mango salsa, and spicy mango purée ). A manager had delivered these to our table and was very excited to come back later to see what we thought about these dishes as they were fairly new. I loved my gnocchi! the sauce was not too spicy but brought the right amount of heat and kick to the dish. The seafood was fresh but cheese inside the gnocchi was the star. So good! I never thought asiago could be so dang tasty. He loved his sea bass. I tasted a little bit of it and it was cooked perfectly, seasoned, flaky, and light. I had a really good dinner here and I'll think twice about I-Drive restaurants.

While we were indoors, we faced the outside bar area, so we had a mix of indoors and outdoors. The bartender was friendly and we had a good laugh with her over the grackle birds that think they are patrons. She was helpful with drink recommendations and the apps. It's in a plaza that has a number of other establishments and parking is in a garage close by; easy walking distance.

It was bagged nicely and well organized. The omelette was a generous sized portion with plenty of tender chicken, peppers, and cheese. There was salsa to add a bit of flavor, but it tasted that it was made in New York City (if you remember that commercial ;) ). The white toast was soft and buttery, and the potatoes were good. My mom enjoyed the banana pecan waffles, and I took a couple bites as well. It was sinfully sweet and enjoyable, especially the bananas. And I must say the coffee was so good, it was even better than the Juan Valdez coffee that I make at home. Since I didn't visit the restaurant, I can't comment on the atmosphere. But I believe the service is excellent because they nicely packed all items and kept it organized. I definitely need to take my family to this restaurant. Since the one in Metrowest closed, this is the closest one to us. I am glad the food is still excellent and the coffee keeps you peppy. Batter didnt stay on the chicken. Scrambled eggs in the chicken batter with a slice of cheese. Deep fried raw spaghetti noodles (why???). 2 pieces of bacon. Tomatoes. A pile of uncooked spinach. Frozen biscuit (if it wasnt frozen, you need a new biscuit maker). Mashed potatoes from a bag. Orange slice. Cantaloupe slice. This was a terrible version. Stop. Leave the stupid rosemary off your dishes. It looks stupid and not everyone likes rosemary. I dont recommend this place. Go to Dennys or Waffle House.
