I had this place tagged on my Google "must try" since last year. The food was good, but not special. I think the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Traffic tonight was light especially for a Wednesday and during the Airshow. The server was prompt and checked on us often. For the food, I ordered the pretzel, brussel sprouts, and the Bam Bam shrimp tacos. I really loved the brussel sprouts. The pretzel IS in fact deep fried, I wanted to try it and I must say I will not order it again. If you are looking for a good lunch spot on the water this has it. Didn't pay much attention to the inside but the patio was perfect. Didn't hurt that the weather was perfect. Service was prompt and very adequate. No complaints. Food: Beet salad was incredible and refreshing. The seared tuna salad was also very tasty. Both were very simple but done right. The burger was average. One pet peeve of mine was when asked what toppings not told there was a charge for everything, including mayo. Added lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. This made a $12 burger $18. Caught off guard. Don't like that. The location and view made up for any short falls which there were few. Prices were reasonable and in-line. We've stopped multiple times while out on the water. It's an easy tie up and has a huge outdoor patio. Service wise they are always running their butts off and do their best. Food is never horrible- pretty basic. Wraps, burgers and flatbread pizzas. read more

We just left very disappointed. We came by boat very nice Saturday afternoon ,yes was getting a good crowd but they had no help. One bartender outside none inside bar outside was full. Only saw two servers running they're button off but couldn't handle the crowd look like not enough support. We got our tap beer quickly and food came quick but the mixed drinks still hadn't come. I've been excited to try this during my last few trips to Oshkosh. I'm up here quite often to stay with my boyfriend and I love trying local places and supporting small businesses. We went at around 5:30 yesterday. Overall the service was good, but it did take about 15 minutes to have a server come to the table. Which wouldn't have bothered me as much if we couldn't see them standing together talking and eating before tendind to their tables. The atmosphere is nice and I like the indoor outdoor seating option. The menu is full of delicious options of your traditional tavern favorites. Burgers, sandwiches etc. I tried the Bam Bam curd burger and tavern chips. The chips are sliced potatoes, sweet potatoes and beets. I do wish there were more beet chips in the mix. The larger chips weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. The burger has their Bam Bam sauce which is also featured in a shrimp appetizer. It also has cheese curds and melty cheese. I was hoping the sauce would have more of a kick but it was still good. The burger was good but I wish it had a thicker patty. My boyfriend got the Mango Habanero Burger and was also wasn't a fan of the sauce element as it made the bun too soggy. Sat outside for at least ten minutes before the cook came out (she was off and still took our order) to take care of us instead of the 4 servers who were standing in the waitress station avoiding taking a table. Thank goodness for this sweet woman (again chef who was OFF work) who took care of us instead of the vaping servers while serving tables. This bar clearly needs a bar rescue because ooof. Got to sit outside right next to the river. Beautiful spot. Service was a little strange but nice. Waitress came over and was giggling about everything. Ordered the ribeye. It came with tots and seasonal veggies. The tots were good, the veggies were decent and the steak was pretty good. Forgot to ask for salt. Not sure if they don't have them but the silverware I received was a fork and butter knife. Luckily the steak could be cut with that knife. We made a reservation for 14 people. We got seated right away and we all ordered. After an hour and a half, we still were waiting for our food while other tables that came in after us were served. The waitress never stopped once to check on us. We had to go up and get our own drinks and water. People at other tables who had been sitting for a long time and were not served were leaving. We finally got the waitress's attention and told her we were leaving as people in our group had other places they had to be after that long. She told us our food should be up soon but we should "do what we had to do." She said she would get the manager. The fish (deep fried) was well done and the slaw was obviously canned and dripping with preservative waters, cold and unimpressive. Sauce was likely tasty, but so little of it, it couldn't punch through the overcooked fish and cold, wet slaw. Was truly a "meh" meal. Virtually little or no taste. Atmosphere and service was average, and beer was cold. Saving grace. Price is not too far out of line if the food matched the cost it would be better. Now this is a must try place ! Came here with a party of 7 in the last 30 min of closing and they were so sweet about it. As an app we got the bam bam shirmp, so good wish I had some right now lol. Good flavor, good portion, overall a hit. They also serve these shrimp as tacos as well which a couple people did order and finish their plates! I myself ordered a mango marg on the rocks, one of the best I've ever had. Good ratio of everything, for my entree I ordered the honey mustard chicken wrap with fries and a Caesar salad. 5/5!! Was just there today, my wife and I went in sat down and waiter came over took our drinks and food order. I ordered a bowl of chili and a burger my wife ordered the flatbread, in about 10 minutes my chili came out in about another 10 minutes my wife's flatbread came out, the waiter said my burger will be right out, after about 15 minutes I called the waiter over asked where the burger was and he said they were working on it that's when I told him to forget it. When we were approached the server seemed annoyed to serve us, she never once checked on us except for taking our food order and when we were finished eating. Food took forever. We got our first and second round of drinks from the bar. We were observing staff and saw 4-5 servers standing and talking to each-other multiple times. My favorite time of the year is the summer. Their backyard hosts live music and the entertainment of watching boat owners dock their boats. They scream at their wives and get all frantic. It's pretty entertaining. Others with more experience coast right in. Some drive by and don't even try. They have a great drink menu. I usually have to remind them to blend my frozen drinks otherwise they have too many ice chunks. The food is great. And on Saturday and Sunday they have a build your own Bloody Mary bar. Some food came cold, some came with the wrong bun (required gluten free). Little attention from the server to the point that we went to the bar ourselves for the second round of drinks. Hard to understand the lack of attention from servers as they were gathered in a corner talking with each other. Seemed the server knew things were bad and rather than be apologetic, they chose to avoid. A bit more attention to the customer would go a long way to smoothing over the obvious kitchen/staffing issues they are experiencing. read more
