Parking was limited, walked down stairs in the patio and the place was so hot, not cooling system, humidity was horrible, and it was tacky looking. We went upstairs to reserve a table, but it was just as hot, dirty tables, place looked old and smelly, menu prices were high, food didn't look too tasty. Food was very much over priced. It's not so much that the food was bad but very mediocre and not worth what they are charging and certainly not worth the wait. Ordered salsa and chips... pretty much what I get at the grocery store. Hush puppies didn't seems made fresh. Maybe they're purchased frozen then deep fried. Also ordered the chicken fried chicken... chicken was dry and the gravy was not flavorful. Also the rosemary potato's had no seasoning on them that I could see or taste. I had to salt and pepper my entire plate to get some flavor. My wife's flounder was not hot..... just semi warm. Son ordered the bacon burger.... seriously looked like school lunch burger. Restaurant is open to air - not sure if there is AC, but who would would waste AC with windows wide open anyway?Jacob was kind enough to offer lowering the shade. I didn't mind the shining sun even after a day at the beach and wanted the view. Some others did not want those seats - I'm sure those are prime during sunsets. The birds were not as bad as I expected - they were flying around but not brave enough to come beyond the railing and ambush your table haha . Food: I had the shrimp cocktail - huge shrimp, I preferred to spice up the mayo-based remoulade with the cocktail sauce Jacob thought ahead to bring. I loved the food here! The location is gorgeous, especially right at sundown. The atmosphere is so much fun! We sat at the downstairs bar on the water as we waited for our table and had frozen margaritas on the water which was lovely! Then we had a table overlooking the water and they open the sun screen at sundown so you can see a great view! The food was so good. We had the crab guacamole, crab stuffed flounder and red fin with a crawfish sauce (the special that night). Everything was truly delicious. Portions were great, I left so full!! read more

Had a mediocre dining experience here. The location is great and there is plenty of parking. We didn't go during a peak hour so it wasn't too busy when we arrived (no wait and plenty of open tables). We asked the hostess if we could sit somewhere by a window with a view of the water (a little too chilly to sit on the deck). She asked a server who had walked up to the hostess stand at that time if there was one available and she very rudely under her breath said "Yeah ok if they wanna wait 45 minutes." We chose this restaurant based on the views of the water, so, very sorry that we asked if we could sit where we had a view of said water. Not a great first impression or a good welcome to patrons coming to your establishment. My expectations aren't that crazy, She could have instead just turned to us and said, would you mind waiting for a table? instead of being snarky. The service at the table wasn't much better. Our waitress barely ever made eye contact and just seemed uninterested altogether. When you go to a restaurant, you expect some degree of politeness in the level of service you get, not to feel like you're a bother. I don't think that's too much to ask for. The food was pricey ($60 for lunch for 2 people) but tasted pretty good. Overall okay, I just would have loved a more friendly and inviting atmosphere. read more

Food is pretty dope. My server Lauren was super awesome. Best front of house staff around. As a CC local, it's the best seafood in Corpus by far. I got the blackened redfish with green beans and new potatoes, with a coconut shrimp skewer. The coconut sauce that is on the shrimp alone is worth the trip out here from the mainland. I'm going to be nice here as the drinks and the view/atmosphere and service definitely floated the restaurant with the amount of starts I graciously gave. Let's just start where you start... Appetizers. We had a small party with us so naturally we decided on chips and salsa. These were some of the most stale chip PIECES and served with an awful MARINARA (not even close to salsa) substance I have ever had! My hubby and I were set on a small lunch nothing to big or heavy so we decided on Oysters on the half and Cajun fries. I really can't complain on the fries but who can really mess up fries, cheese, crawfish and spices (literally anyone can do this blindfolded) thought they were a bit over baked and dried out, but the Oysters I've NEVER been to a place where we haven't finished them and had a major concern that we may have contracted Hepatitis and or develop some food poisoning from them. They looked great coming out great big and well shucked. But one bite told me don't keep going. They were Luke warm not even slightly cool. They sat in a very milky juice (I've eaten enough oysters to know there should be juice present but not this color) and felt extra slimy in my mouth. ONE AND DONE. Didn't even consider another. This place is a great place to gather friends BUT DO NOT expect good food. Stick to the drinks for the most part and the simple foods on the menu so as to avoid disappointment. read more

Best seafood hands down. We got the Calamari and Ahi Tuna salad for an appetizer. It was the perfect mix of greens and seafood. The aioli was amazing that was drizzled on the Ahi. For our entree I had the Ahi Tuna Sandwich and my husband had the Ahi Tuna, blackened. I'm very picky with fish and I won't eat it if it tastes fishy or if it's dry. Great location off the pier, food was great and the service was outstanding. Since the doors are open to the pier it's a bit warm inside the establishment. Called a couple hours ahead to make a reservation. They told us they do not do that and not to worry because they shouldn't be busy at all. Upon arrival we were informed we would have at least an hour wait. We waited the time. We finally sat down and everything seemed okay, we noticed our service was very slow. The water tasted like salt water and the sprite tasted like chemicals. They didn't have many of the options that are shown online. After finally receiving our food, the quality was sub par. Burgers were charred and I'm sure they bought them in the frozen section at Walmart. Crab cakes were bland and chicken was not good. Overall we had a not so good experience. A great place to drink (and only drink) especially since they didn't care to ID any one in our party(all of which were overage) but we could have easily not been(we're all early 20s) read more

Came to Corpus to visit the Selena Museum and was recommended to eat here. The view was beautiful and the food was delicious. I ordered the grilled coconut shrimp with red potatoes and vegetables. The sauce was so good! The vegetables were seasoned with I don't know what, but I pretty much was licking my plate at the end.
