8/2/25 Wow I'm behind. Lets get into it We had a group of about 40 people who came to enjoy some time together all friends/Family Plenty of seating nice big open long tables. We truly ordered so much pizza I think at one point they had to turn down a few people just so they could keep up with us . They did an amazing job with the amount of people. Pizza was really good (Didn't get pic) shame. Few beers on tap and had a salad bar as well . Service was excellent and pretty fast with the amount of of people. We enjoyed our pizza and tried a few others all were really good. Fun spot to take the family. We all really enjoyed our time. Definitely would go back Enjoy !!!!

Visited october 9th while staying in old Sacramento. They open at 11am and have lunch specials until 2pm. My friend bought the one topping pizza with a soft drink and one trip salad bar ( 15 bucks). If you just want the salad bar it's 10 bucks and they have an expansive salad bar! We shared the pepperoni pizza in the hotel room and I like that the crust was a bit crunchy! Salad was good and fresh! They are located on the corner ( across from Finnegans) and have indoor and outside seating. Beer available. Clean inside!

Fast and friendly service! Pizza was amazing! Our little family ordered a large pepperoni pizza and there wasn't a piece left over! Will be a returning customer!

This establishment is very open and spacious big windows with lots of light family friendly, television screens on most of the walls i caught the mavericks game while i was enjoying my meal. Was helped by Jr super friendly guy i couldn't decide which pizza to choose they all sounded great but Jr helped me make the right selection. I had garlic bread and a personal pizza with sausage pepperoni bell peppers and olives was crunchy and delicious loved every bite will come back for sure.

Frankie's Pizza, conveniently located in Old Town Sacramento, is quick, cheap, and reliable. The only downside is that the pizzas themselves have an average crust... they're not New York, Sicilian, or Chicago style.

It's always something here, whether it is out of dough or out of beer, this place is mediocre at best. The only thing it has going for it, is it's location. Honestly walk 3 minutes south under the underpass to the downtown commons and their is better reliable pizza on the second floor. Don't waste you time here being disappointed by poor management!

Perfect place to grab a bite before going to an A's game at Sutter Park! Frankie's Pizza is in a prime location at Old Town Sac. You have the option to dine inside or on the patio. It was a nice day out so we dined in the patio. It was a busy Saturday with a lot of foot and vehicle traffic. We ordered Frankie's Combo, Medium size, Buffalo Mild wings (waiter's recommendation), and garlic tots for appetizers. My review: Garlic Tots: 4/5 (Can't go wrong with crispy tots and garlic on it. Some seasoning would make it 5/5) Buffalo Mild Wings: 5/5 (Fried well and crispy. Wings weren't dripping with sauce which we liked) Frankie's Combo Pizza: 4/5 (The usual combo pizza. It was good because it had a thin crispy crust but the cheese and toppings were fluffy and abundant) Overall, good experience and recommend if you're in the area. 4/5 stars because someone loitering stood and watched us eat. However, the staff was good about letting the owner know which he came out and spoke to the person. The person eventually left.

Frankies has some of the best Hawaiian pizza in town, and their wings are really good too. You have the option to get a lunch special with the salad bar included, they serve beer too! the two ladies are very welcoming and friendly. No waiting time to be seated and very quiet atmosphere, perfect for friends reunion.

This was a nice lunch spot for us after a morning exploring Old Sacramento. Typical pizza place vibe, casual, and it wasn't too busy on a Saturday lunch. We got a pizza to share and it was enough for the three of us (2 adults, 1 kid). Crust was nice and fluffy/chewy, and decent amount of toppings. Solid pizza place.

Visited Frankie's for the first time since the Yelp reviews were pretty good! We ordered an XL Pepperoni Pizza, garlic parmesean and buffalo wings, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. The food was really delicious except for the mozzarella sticks. They were a bit frozen and didn't want to send them back since our server seemed a little frazzled as it was a busy Saturday night, but we ended up reheating them at home and they were really good! Also, love the atmosphere of Frankie's. It's in Old Town Sacramento and the interior has lots of televisions with a variety of sports to watch. They also had good options for beer too! Finally, I do want to emphasize their pizza was top notch and I think one of the best in Sacramento that I've tasted. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.

Adequate pizza for the extremely hungry
    Michael S.

The staff are exceedingly friendly, and the decor and ambiançe are of a generic pizza parlor/bar that exists in every town near and far. The pepperoni pizza I tried this night looks like New York-style pizza but the red sauce is disturbingly sweet and the pepperoni slices are thinner than expected and deliver far less taste and punch. If you're in the target demographic of hungry tourists that have walked too far around Old Sacramento, his pizza will satisfy you. If you actually care about pizza, it probably won't.

Came in with some friends after a convention downtown. I did not see any gluten-free options, so I opted for the salad bar. It was decent, not many places have a salad bar anymore. The pizzas looked and smelled good, others said they enjoyed it.

Same window for beer and food. If you order food you're given a number that people deliver food. Came here for happy hour. I got myself a pretzel with add-on cheese, a pulled pork (seasonal) Belgie with fries, and I sampled other food that my friends ordered. Firstly, the 1L beer is worth it. Not happy hour prices., but well worth the volume. It definitely transported me back to my visit to Munich and the beer halls. Oh, I do miss the drunken singing of the Germans lol Secondly, the food was just okay. Pretzels were thankfully cheaper since it was happy hour but i paid $1 for the add-on cheese. The mustard combo sauce was great. I wish the pretzel was a bit bigger. I appreciated the warmth and the salt ratio; not overpowering. The Belgie (waffle sandwich) was also on happy hour. The texture of the waffle was great. Crisp exterior, soft interior. I ordered the seasonal pulled pork which was great in texture and decently portioned. It is a thick boy, so biting into it was a bit of a challenge. Ended up deconstructing the sandwich and used utensils. Sauce maybe would've been better on the side. Fries always win. No complaints though I wish I ordered the garlic fries... the smell was good. One thing I didn't get to try was their famous, Starbust drink which is a mix of beer, cider and some frosty, maybe. The color was intriguing and everyone seemed to order it around me. The misters were on, which was a blessing and a curse. Definitely helped cool me down, but also became a nuisance as the table and all my belongings got wet. Excited for their new location in Old Sac. Maybe a revised review in the future. Stay tuned.
