Read some really reviews so we made the drive over. Pretty busy but we got aat pretty quick. 2 eggs over easy with Italian sausage and hash browns with cheese and onions. Deb had the biscuits and gravy with no potatoes. Chill homey vibe. Looks like a lot of locals but so close to the beach there are tourists as well.

Doe Doe's Diner is a classic U.S. diner. The people are friendly. The food is good. The service is fast. You can watch the short order chef working away making the orders and the servers are quick and competent. I always order a side dish of hash browns ($2.99) and a side dish of bacon (4 slices for $4.99). The hashbrowns were nicely browned and crisp. And the bacon was crisp and meaty. I also couldn't resist a side order of Italian sausage ($4.99), which I don't usually see on a diner menu. The sausage was great and added a nice finish to my meal. The walls are covered with cute sayings and plenty of award plaques, which shows the diner has been at the top of their form for many years.

Here for breakfast with my wonderful wife. She had waffles with blueberries and sausage. I had pork chops with eggs and hash browns. Absolutely delicious. This is becoming our new favorite spot.

Corn beef hash omelette is outstanding. I said at the counter in the service was very professional and friendly.

Great quick breakfast place with a lot of locals and regulars. What sets this apart from other diners are the servers. They are so friendly and warm. I got the biscuit and gravy special. It comes with 1 egg and home fries. I prefer scrambled eggs that are scrambled and not "flat" scrambled on the flat top but they were good.

My husband and I love to explore breakfast places on the weekends. About 2 months ago we visited Doe Doe's Diner for the first time. We have since stopped looking for places to go because we believe we have found to perfect breakfast spot. This place offers an excellent country breakfast, everything cooked perfectly, and brought to your table by terrific servers (like Dee). We have been back every Saturday and Sunday since we visited for the first time, and we have no plans to change our routine any time soon. It's a must try. We highly recommend! PS. Their tater tots are the absolute best!!!

As an early riser my 6am google search for an early breakfast near my motel in Treasure Island produced many 7am and 8am places but only 1 place was open at 6am. Having lived in NY for 5 years, I know that Diners can be an excellent option. So Doe Doe's Diner here I come. A quick 10 minute drive over the Tom Stuart Causeway brought me to this diner on Alt.19. A stand alone business serving breakfast and lunch with entrances on 2 sides and parking on 3 sides was a welcome sight. With half a dozen patrons by the time I arrived at 6:15am, I settled into a comfy booth. I was greeted right away by a cherrful lady and offered the beverage of my choice. Unsweet tea please. One great thing about diners other than the hours, you can order whatever is on the menu at anytime. I jumped at the chance for a breakfast cheeseburger w/ a side salad instead of fries. Diners give you options and they had it all. A simple and fresh salad with a greek type vinegrette hit the spot. A delicious made to order cheeseburger appeared as soon as my salad plate emptied. I put in a take-out order, a 3 cheese omelet w/ hash browns for the wife. They also have curb-side service. Quick, pleasant and attentive service was rewarded. Extra napkins without asking. A cozy, comfy and warm bastion on a chilly and foggy morning was just what the doctor ordered. No rush, no fuss good eats kick started my mini-vaca Sunday morning. What more could you ask for? Come get ya some.

Great food with that home town diner feel. It's a busy place which means it's good with fast service. The menu is HUGE but I pretty much get the same thing every time. Love the eggs Benedict and fried potatoes with grilled onions. Great local gem!

Classic diner experience in the heart of St Pete Beach. The place has a good number of tables and feels very authentic with classic diner decor and booths. It has an open kitchen concept that makes the restaurant feel amicable. Food is fairly priced and comes out quickly. Staff were nice and friendly!

Talk about fast and efficient. It's was so packed and crowded and we were sat in 5 minutes. They are constantly working nonstop. The service was great and food was fresh. Casual dining.

There's dedicated parking for the restaurant behind the building in the lot, plus metered street parking and garages within less than a block. The main entrance is on the side of the building, on 5th Street S just off 6th Avenue S. Outdoor seating is available, but I personally wouldn't choose it, sitting right next to a busy intersection with constant traffic and exhaust isn't my idea of enjoyable. That said, the interior ambiance alone is worth the visit. Inspired by the historic George Peabody Library and part of the Oxford Commons Hospitality group, the design is quirky, fun. The thoughtful mix of bookshelves, warm lighting, rich browns and deep blues, and the seamless blend of library, bar, and dining space creates a truly special atmosphere, especially if you love books. We visited as part of a large group for a special occasion dinner. They accommodated us on very short notice after our original plans changed due to possible rain and outside seating only at our first reservation, which was impressive. Our waitress was fantastic, she handled our entire table (and others) by herself with no buss person and still managed every order and individual request with genuine care and efficiency. I haven't tried breakfast, lunch, the morning coffee/pastry take-out window, or the bar yet, but the dinner experience was excellent. Fair warning: this is not a budget-friendly spot. If you're watching every dollar or might resent the food due to prices, it's probably not the place for you. It's ideal for special occasions or when you want to enjoy a meal without worrying about the cost, each dish/cocktail is in line with upscale dining in the area,it does add up quickly with drinks, apps, entrees, and sides, though I read they have happy hour. We ordered appetizers (shared), I also had the opportunity to sip a few cocktails (when offered), I also shared entrees, and sides with some of our group. Everything we tried was very good, there were not stand-outs, all was scrumptious, from the start of appetizers: the warm bread with its delicious butter spread, the roasted cauliflower, the spicy crispy shrimp, the Steak Frites, the perfectly cooked French fries, and the sautéed spinach, all of which I had a taste of personally. The portions looked modest on the plates but were surprisingly filling, many of us had leftovers to take home. We finished with the warm cookie and ice cream, which was hands-down amazing, especially with the perfect touch of flaky salt on top. The cocktails were strong and creative. My first choice (suggested by the waitress) wasn't quite to my taste, it was too tart and strong for me, but she immediately removed it from the bill and happily brought me something else I enjoyed much more. Overall, The Library delivers a memorable experience, amazing ambiance, a beautiful setting, attentive service, and excellent food. Next time I'm trying breakfast.

The restaurant is uniquely decorated with floor-to-ceiling books and those old-world aristocratic portraits that make you feel like you've stepped into a quaint literary hideaway. We were seated in a cozy corner with high-backed cushioned chairs that felt like our own little private nook. Perfect for a special occasion that's kind of low key. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the noise level was surprisingly low, which we really appreciated. It made it easy to relax and enjoy our time without feeling overwhelmed. Service was also great - attentive, friendly, and well-paced despite the crowd. Now, the menu... it was honestly hard to choose because so many items sounded amazing. We ended up ordering the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the warmed Burrata to start. The Brussels Sprouts were flavorful and enjoyable, though I personally would have loved just a bit more char on them for that extra depth. The burrata, on the other hand, was packed with flavor - especially if you're a fan of sun-dried tomatoes, this is definitely a must-try. The drinks were a standout, my lychee martini was light, smooth, and refreshing, while my husband's old fashioned was bold and perfectly crafted. He is quite the stickler for a good old fashioned. For our mains, my husband kept it classic with a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which he really enjoyed. It had that delicious smash burger style that hits the spot. I ordered the Chicken Paillard, and it was absolutely delicious--light, fresh, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and agreed that we'd definitely come back. There were still so many dishes we were tempted to try, and that's always a great sign. The Library is a unique and memorable spot that's perfect for brunch, date nights, or any special occasion. Give it a try!

The Wooden Rooster: Where My Morning Got Its Life Together Before I Did…read more Listen... I came here expecting "just a crepe." What I got was a full-on personality upgrade. First off--the vibe. Somehow it's better than Kraft (yeah I said it), but like... calmer, cooler, and not screaming at you before coffee. It's peaceful, shady, low-noise... the kind of place where you feel like you should start journaling or making better life decisions. Now let's talk food. I ordered The B.E.A.S.T. and I'm not exaggerating when I say this thing deserves its own documentary. Bacon. Pesto. Sun-dried tomatoes. Eggs. It was like every breakfast all-star showed up and said, "Let's absolutely dominate this guy's morning." Perfect balance. Crispy, creamy, savory... I took one bite and immediately forgave myself for everything I've ever done wrong. And honestly? This is a WAY better place to start your morning than the bagel place down the street. You know the one. We've all settled for it. We don't have to live like that anymore. Also--huge shoutout to the service. These people were so nice I almost asked if they wanted to come manage my personal life too. Fast, friendly, and somehow still chill. Bonus points for the menu because where else can you go from a Nutty Joe dessert crepe to a Cubano crepe to a PB&J throwback without anyone questioning your life choices? Final verdict: If you're in downtown St. Pete and not coming here, you're making your mornings unnecessarily harder than they need to be. Wooden Rooster didn't just feed me-- it emotionally supported me.
