The food is decent, but overpriced for what it is. The also messed up our order. My boyfriend and I came here and he asked to order 3 dogs to go. We asked for the old town dog, the Fonz and the Huli-Huli. When we got our order, they gave us 3 old town dogs, the fonz, and the Huli-Huli. When they asked us to pay, it was just a receipt with the cost and not a description of our order so there was no way to confirm our order. They give you your order staples up in a bag, so we didn't notice the error until we got back home. I understand that communication is probably harder with masks on, but we spent almost $50 for some hot dogs. The Old Town was a regular hot dog with chipotle mayo, grilled onions, pickles jalapeños. It was good as far as hot dogs go. The Huli-Huli fared the best of the bunch. The sausage was pretty mild, but the toppings were super unique. The Fonz was our least favorite, the pastrami was tasteless and cold. The sausage itself tasted a bit undercooked and there were no additional toppings aside from a few pieces of pastrami and cold cheese melted on top. I think the sausages are boiled first, then just briefly heated up on the grill. They don't cook things fresh for you. At $8 for a sausage in a bun, I would at least want it to be made fresh. Covid safety customer service being observed here and dining in is not a problem. The Cowboy dogs was amazing, bbq sauce, onion straws and ooey gooey cheese melted atop an all beef weiner. Decided to stop by here for lunch with my beau and also because the reviews were really good. He ordered the das brat and side of chili. I ordered the holy aioli burger and onion rings. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. The food was hot and fresh. We took it back to our table and enjoyed it. I can't stress how much I love beer battered onion rings! This place makes my favorite kind of onion rings. I thoroughly enjoyed my order. When ordering, the young person asked what meat choice I wanted for the hotdog, which I didn't know there was one, so she read me these options, kielbasa, chorizo, brat or veggie dog. I asked if there was just a hot dog, her reply "whats a hot dog?" Then proceeded to say she was a vegetarian so didn't know what a hot dog was. I asked if maybe she could ask someone that knew what a hotdog was, and their reply was the hot dogs come with the beef dog.... great!!! A hotdog!!! We got 4 different hotdogs/brats and definitely was astonished at the lack of flavor and just overall poor quality. Will not be going back! Got a Mother Clucker chicken sandwich to go. Got back to work and noticed a hair sticking out of it. Drove all the way back and showed the manager on duty. He acted as if he couldn't care less. He offered to either remake the sandwich or refund my money. I chose to have them remake the sandwich. I would have expected a little more attention to this matter. Maybe offering me a complimentary drink while I waited for them to make it for a second time....Or maybe a complimentary sandwich the next time I came in....But nothing. DOG HAUS employees are THE WORST. The employees clearly do not read the specific instructions submitted through online orders. I've let it slide multiple times but this morning was the last straw. I submitted an order for the Haus burrito no onion, no spicy mayo. Chili tots, chili on the side. Simple right? The order rcpt even shows my specifications and yet I have not once received this order correctly. I'm pregnant and my stomach in general cannot tolerate spicy foods. So here I am starving yet again having wasted money, time, with soggy tots and a burrito that is filled with onion and spicy mayo. This is the last time I'm ordering anything from here. All I can say is DO BETTER. You are paid to provide a service so get it done right. After I arrived maybe 8 others came through, placed their order, and 6 of them received their food before I did. Being a vegetarian option means it already starts out dry since it's lacking the fat therefore, burning it is not good. The Dog Slider, I took one bite and that was enough. It was described as a mini dog but was actually a dog cut in half with a ripped in half piece of bacon dangling off one edge. The cheese sauce had to have been reheated a few times too many or just should have been thrown away. It was grainy, dry, and an off putting brown color. The dog was just the same having been cut in half so it too was dried out. The tots with cheese, had the same cheese as the dog so that sums those up. The ones with out the cheese were perfectly crispy! The Burger Sliders, looked terrible but the onions were caramelized so wonderfully and the flavors combined were great. read more

Walked in and everything they have to offer is up on a board right in front where you order. They have tons of options-hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie options and etc! My hotdog was the sooo Cali(go figure I'm from the bay) lol!! It was so flavorful(should have left off the arugula since it's tastes over powers the flavors). It was mouth watering!! So tasty!! My kid thought that was one of the greatest restaurants we have been to in a while, which was great, but I did not agree. Her kids meal hot dog and corn dog was great, they even put relish and onions on the hot dog for her so she was in heaven. My burger on the other hand fell short. My burger seemed to only be seasoned on one half of it, which seemed really odd to me. You could literally see the seasoning on the beef on one half, but the other half looked like plain beef and tasted like it. The fries were old and cold which was also odd since we were there just a bit before noon. I also wish they toasted the hamburger buns. If my kid can talk me into going again, maybe we will, but I assume it was just a one time visit for us. read more

I was enticed to stop in to Dog Haus because of their Yelp deals - cash back PLUS a check in deal for a free slider with purchase of a specialty sausage. I'm so glad I did! What a fun concept this place is! Nicely decorated and a very creative menu. Lots of different options for dogs, sausages, and burgers. They've got beer and adult milk shakes as well! I especially like the fact that they offer a veggie sausage options - that's a rarity at a place that specializes in meats! I gave it a try and enjoyed the smoked apple flavor mixed with creamy avocado. I also really liked the bun it came on, which was similar in texture to a croissant. The burger slider I ordered was also quite yummy - I especially liked the caramelized onions. The other cool thing is that you can make your own dog/sausage/burger using any of the ingredients offered on the specialty menu. This was a really enjoyable experience as the food was amazing. We ordered the downtown dog, frie burger, and chili cheese fries. So some may feel for a hot dog or burger it may be a lil pricey however I definitely feel it was worth it. The downtown dog was delicious especially the caramelized onions on top. The Hawaiian bun was delicious. And a brilliant idea. It is unique The frie burger was delicious also with the coleslaw and fries inside. My burger was so juicy and great it all came apart with a third of it left, but I didn't care, it was so damn good! My burger was done to order with an egg and French fries on it and the Hawaiian roll makes it extra great. I'll start with I love the food here, super yummy and options for almost all! However, this evening I ordered through door dash and there was a big piece of blue plastic in my hotdog at the bottom of the bun. When I called I asked for a manager and the guy I was talking to said he could help me. I proceeded to tell him about the plastic. He told me it was impossible for that to happen as they have no blue plastic. But he told me I could bring it in along with my hotdog and get a refund. I just wanted to let them know so they were aware that they need to check their food better. I've worked multiple service jobs and he did not handle the complaint very well. I'd still go here because the food is good and stuff but they need to train their staff on how to handle complaints better. read more

I'm not a hot dog lover, but lucky for me Dog Haus is more than just sausages. So when friends want to go for hot dogs, I'm happy to join them. I can enjoy a burger and fries while they get their fix of tube meat. On my most recent visit, I was impressed at the large number of vegetarian options: veggie or soy dogs, veggie burgers, Beyond sausage, and Impossible burgers. I'm not vegetarian, but I limit my meat consumption these days. It was hard to decide what to order. I decided to try an Impossible burger. As advertised, it does look a lot like ground beef. The texture is similar to beef. It even tastes kind of like beef. Unfortunately, the after-taste was really off-putting. I shared it with my companions and enjoyed fries instead. The taste of the Impossible burger is no reflection on the quality of the staff or the restaurant. It's just not my thing. Next time--oh, yes, I'm sure I'll be back--I'll get a chicken sandwich, burger, or the other vegetarian patty. There are plenty of options, and everything seems fresh. read more
