I had never heard of this place until a couple of my coworkers brought it up to have for lunch. I love bratwursts and when I found out this place had them, I was so excited! I ordered the Reservoir Hog and it was pretty good. I actually enjoyed the bread it was served in out of the whole thing if we're being honest. It became a little soggy after a little bit and I don't like when bread gets soggy. I ended up finishing it and was super full. However, about 20-25 minutes after eating the food I had been food poisoned and was in the bathroom for quite some time. It was super unfortunate that I had such a bad experience after eating from this place. I've never reacted this way from eating any type of bratwurst combination before, so I'm not too sure what the problem was. I probably wouldn't recommend this place to others just because of my experience, but they do serve other food options, so it may be worth it depending on what is ordered. read more

I've probably eaten at Dog Haus 50 times since it opened, so I had to show them some love on Yelp. I brought my son there after school just this afternoon and as always the food was delicious, the people uber-friendly, and the music memorable. They always offer my little guy a free Otter Pop, which makes him very loyal to their brand. :-) Today he said, "Mama, we should eat here EVERY DAY!" What a beautiful experience this was. My family had never been here so I recommended it for lunch. Granted, I was somewhat hesitant. Dog Haus is in LA, a new one just opened right near USC, however it is still working out the kinks. My experience there was no good, but I hoped for better here. Service: 5/5. Patient, generous, and helpful. The manager taking our order made our process as smooth and enjoyable as possible, all while being genuine and lacking the "I'm here because I have to be" attitude. Also, the food came out quick! Price: 5/5. Not only do you get free food with check in, the prices are very reasonable too. Especially for the size and quality of food you'll be getting. Food 5272/5. No that is not a typo. Let me tell you the little mule was hands down the best burger I have ever had, and this is a hot dog place! It wasn't as if I was super hungry or anything, that burger was just divine with every bite. The little mule comes with two types of cheese, a fried egg, avocado, and two types of sauce on a sweet bun. I can't really describe how great that burger was in words. You have to try it, it was just the best burger I've ever had, it didn't really last long in my hands. As for my family, they really enjoyed their food too, I tried my brothers burger and that was just as good as mine. This is a really fun place! The staff is always friendly and greet us with a friendly smile. The menu is massive and I laugh inside every time I see people standing there in awe at the menu. That has certainly been me. When it all comes down to it - I like a simple corn dog. The breading is so good. I also like the crunchy tator tots. My family loves this place. I have been here twice. The first time I wanted to order the Sooo Cali but they were out of arugula so I went with the Another night in Bangkok. The curry wurst was awesome. Really spicy. Really great flavors. 4 stars because it took them about 15 minutes to make the new wurst after they realized they were out of the arugula. The rest of my family was already done with their food by the time I got mine. I went again last night and ordered the Sooo Cali. It was really good. A great place to grab a good burger or hot dog. We went in on a Sunday Evening. Service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. It has a great, relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the Holy Aioli with fries and my boyfriend ordered the Little Leaguer and fries. We definitely could have shared one side for the two of us. Pretty good and interesting variety of dogs, sausages, and hamburgers. Got a Downtown Dog and it was pretty tasty, but was kind of lukewarm. $6 for that, then $3 more for a fountain drink and a side. Got the tater tots and they're the same as you buy in the store. Fountain drinks were limited to usual sugary drinks and iced tea. Sausages and burgers are $7, just for those. Pretty interesting and lively decor, and a decent amount of seating. They also have beer and wine, and two kinds of desserts which were like $5 floats or similar. read more

Here are the most important things to know before you go: Vegetarians have options like the Veggie Smoked Apple Sausage, soy protein veggie dogs, and veggie burgers! Everything is cooked fresh when you order and served on King's Hawaiian bread. If you've never had King's Hawaiian bread, it is soft and slightly sweet and ahhhh-mazing! They have food combinations that you would never ever think of ... but they TOTALLY work! Like cheese-stuffed sausage with fig-onion relish, wild arugula, whole grain mustard aioli, and sliced almonds. Less adventurous eaters can build their own, choosing from about a dozen proteins and more than 50 different toppings, cheeses, and sauces. One of their sides is crispy tater tots covered in chili and shredded cheese. Do you really need more than that? So we could try one of each we ordered The Cowboy (dog, smoked bacon, white American cheese, crispy onions, and BBQ sauce), Bad Mutha Clucka (chicken sausage, sun-dried tomato aioli, basil, and crispy onions), and The Hangover (burger, smoked bacon, Haus chili, white American cheese, fried egg, and mayo) and divided them up so we could share. In fact, I heard three words from my boys that they very rarely utter: "Mom, I'm full!" The restaurant is located about a half-mile down the road from Centennial Center Park, which is one of our favorite places to visit in the summer. I am sure it will become a regular stop of ours after we spend the morning working up an appetite playing.
