R.I.P Flanigan's I buried this restaurant chain. This chain restaurant doesn't deserve my support. I am a long-time customer and have eaten at nearly all of their locations. My recent experience was terrible at the Hallandale location. The entire birthday celebration was ruined. They had a bartender who seemed intoxicated to the point that other guests and I noticed the same thing. The manager at the time was so rude and was yelling. Even after I asked her not to yell and cause a scene, she began to get worse to the point she decided it was necessary to throw my receipt at me. The issue was addressed with Melissa Castaneda, Flanigan's guest relations person, who was useless and didn't care about customer satisfaction. She instead told me to refrain from visiting their locations. It is obvious that Flanigan's doesn't care about their customers; therefore, it will continue to have issues with management and staff. They don't value the customers, which is who keep the business operating. AVOID this place if you value customer service. read more

I guess the inside service is much better than the outside service . We returned today to give it another shot ... boy what a difference the place inside was hoping jammed packed for a Tuesday we waited like 30 min, well worth it. Carolina was our waitress and she was phenomenal, you know when your dealing with a profesional , service was impeccable. Actually the entire Stsph was busing like clockwork , touché to the management well oiled machine ! We started off with the clam chowder soup and the mozzarella stick snd both were amazing ! Wifey ordered a burger that had a perfect charred grill and tasted perfect . I ordered half ribs with shrimp and could not finish my meal , yay hace leftovers !!!! Was craving some chicken and remembered that Flannys has a great lunch menu We ordered 2 meals that were 6.99 each and it was so much food neither of us could finish. I've been to Flanigans many times. The food is always delicious, the portions are generous, and the drinks are bottomless. (nonalcoholic) Today I went into use a promotion that I had received in my email. Tina took such great care of me. I had the lunch special that included a full rack of ribs, dirty rice, garlic rolls, Caesar salad, and a drink. I had Coke zero. My food was really delicious. Love Flannigan's--it's a must-visit every time I'm in Miami. The Vicky Bakery croquette collab was incredible (just a "burn your tongue" warning--they come out piping hot!). Love the classic boat-themed ambiance that has been there for years, and they're already gearing up for St. Paddy's. There most popular holiday of all. Even on a packed night, our server was super attentive. Only minor note: the coleslaw was a bit lacking for me, but that's likely because it's a creamy base rather than vinegar-style. read more

I love Flanigan's and I'm so glad I live near one, but for some reason, I never remember it as an option! Tonight was my first time ordering takeout from there, and I love that the booth is outside and designated spots. Are there for picking up to go orders. It was very simple and easy to pick up. It's actually a lot better than walking through a crowded restaurant, trying to get a bartender's attention or something. Now I thought I would try a new menu item and got the dolphin fricasse (sp), which was wonderful, but I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries, which it clearly states is sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon, but on top of the fact that it's not, it was put in the SAME box as the lemon sauced fish I ordered Now I want nothing to do with them. The rest of my meals were boxed appropriately, considering the side and main course combination, but please - for the love of all that is good - never put sweet potato fries in the same box as a savory (and wet) meal. read more

I recommend booking a reservation in advance with the app yelp, so you can arrive and and get the table faster without waiting. We have been fans of Flanigan's for many years and try to visit various locations of theirs. This location was another good pick. We liked the happy crowd, the casual decor, the locals, the service and the food. It was packed last night so instead of waiting we were able to get a spot at the bar as someone next to us happened to be leaving. Our server, Patricia, who was also the bartender, was very nice, friendly and attentive. She took good care of us. We each had the Prime Rib with baked potatoes, the Rockin Ribs (sooo good) for appetizer, and Fried Shrimp with fries. Most of that went home with us because we had to make room for dessert. We shared Key Lime Pie and Dulce de Leche. Everything was very good except for my daughter's Prime Rib steak. It came out subpar and very dry. But Patricia came to the rescue and brought her another Prime Rib quickly, which was juicy and tasty! All was good. Parking was in front of Flanigan's. They are ADA approved. No pets allowed. I had heard a lot about Flanigan's and even had been to a Marlin's game where they were a sponsor for some merch so I was excited to try them. The place was not very big, but was pretty busy with a very friendly host who chatted with us while we waited to be seated. The bar is a bit dated and dim but clean. The food was mediocre. I very much enjoyed the BBQ rib egg rolls, but the burger while cooked perfectly to the medium rare it was ordered at packed any flavor at all. So while there was nothing to dislike, there was also nothing to really draw me back. read more

Stopped in on a Monday night for the Monday deal of nachos with a pitcher of beer. We sat at the bar where the bartenders were very attentive and kind. The beer (Miller Lite) was really nice and cold. The nachos were majorly lacking toppings though, especially the chili, and the cheese was barely melted on the chips. I got a delicious and refreshing Arnold Palmer to bring me back to life after sitting in the sun. And to eat, I got the blacked tuna hoagie with fries, which REALLY brought me back to life. The hoagie is stuffed and the tuna and peppers were cooked just right. And of course, you can't go wrong with fries from Flanigan's. The people to my right, ordered Nacho Appetizer and this MOUNTAIN of nachos that could feed many people came! So they started passing small plates of nachos out to everyone at the bar. Flanigan's is the kind of place where you share your food with strangers and talk tennis, golf, and life while you drink beer. (No politics.) My well-done burger arrived and it was burnt crunchy. The waitress, Judy, offered to get me a new burger asap but I was hungry (Growl) and grabbed that burger! LOL. It was still tasty. Later, the Manager came by and asked me how my meal was. I said, "It's all good." Then he asked me again and I said my burger was burnt but it's no problem. Well, he said they don't do things that way and comped my meal. I only paid for one Modelo. Ordered a couple of to-go dinners. Mahi-mahi and shrimp scampi. I was shocked at the size of the scampi. Small enough for a kiddie meal. It tasted ok but deinitely not worth the $17.00 price!
