Visited a couple weeks back and really enjoyed the vibe. Wide variety of west coast IPAs , (Almanac We$t coast) Returning again to NC soon and will def be back!

Good spot to stop in for a drink and maybe a shot of something extra if you're down! Place was clean and not too crowded on a Saturday evening. Bartender was fast and friendly with both local and not local options available. Good stop for a bar crawl!

We stopped in at this tiny bar on our date night and shared a couple of drinks- they have a fair selection, fair prices, a friendly bartender and plenty of space to hang out.

First time here last night and it was pleasant! Half off wine on Wednesdays, so that was an added bonus. I arrived a little later, closer to 10pm so it was not too busy and no trouble finding a comfortable spot to sit on the couch in the back. The bartender was nice and I enjoyed my visit. I'd come back!

Dogwood Hops and Crops is hands down my favorite spot! They have an incredible selection of draft beers, always offering something new and trendy to try. The bartenders are consistent and super friendly. It's a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. We visit often and will definitely continue to explore the amazing beer options here. They also have a few cocktail options and next door have the Trophy Room which offers bourbon and whiskey drinks(etc.) Highly recommend for any craft beer lover!

We were in the downtown area after dinner and decided to look for a place to enjoy a local beer and chose Dogwood because we saw they also offer a wide array of canned beer for purchase. We had to circle the block a couple of times to find a parking spot but once we did it was just a short walk to Dogwood. We took a seat at the bar and were immediately greeted. The interior is cool and comfortable with an industrial feel. I chose an IPA made in Asheville, NC which I enjoyed. We then made our way over to the coolers and put together a 4-pack of IPA's to go. The prices on the canned beer are not cheap but they do offer 30% off all cans which are individually priced. We saw varieties of beers from all over the US, a few we recognized from the west coast but we appreciated all of the North Carolina brews as I enjoy a good hoppy IPA. If beer is not your thing they do offer seltzers and we also saw wine as well. Great experience and we would recommend to others!

I noticed that in some reviews people mentioned poor customer service, so I wanted to address this first. I have not experienced that at all. The bartender was attentive and offered recommendations for some local restaurants. I had a mango cider on draft from Sebastopol, CA. It was the only cider on draft, but there was plenty of choice in the can in the fridges. I hardly can imagine anyone who can't find what they are looking for here. The atmosphere was casual, maybe a bit too casual. The town appeared to be pretty quiet on a Saturday late afternoon, so there were very few people there. I would consider coming back later at night where hopefully the overall vibe is a bit more lively.

My experience at Dogwood is 10/10 every time. There are a TON of beer/wine/seltzer options to choose from in the beer case lined up along the wall to the left as you walk in. Additionally, there are multiple rotating taps if you're feeling a draft beer instead. I love the cozy little nook by the window with the plants and natural light. I could see this being a great spot for a small group or even a book club meeting! Try Dogwood. You won't be disappointed.

This place is incredibly calm and cozy. A total vibe. As a bottle shop, there's TONS To choose from. But they also have several beers on tap as well. The service was friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

This is really nice clean place with several highlights for beer lovers. The trophy room is attached and they have an excellent whiskey and liquor selection. We didn't eat, but the sandwiches looked pretty good. They had at least 14 beers on tap that made a nice variety with a few pretty rare very high rated ones. Zach, the bartender is very beer knowledgeable so it's a great place for craft beer novices and newbies. On top of the tap list they have a large cooler Of cans and bottles available for onsite consumption and to go as well as a package to go selection. Overall great beer selections, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very cool build out and setting.

Dogwood is our favorite spot to go out in Winston. Their beer selection, both on draft and in cans, is curated and diverse. Every time we visit, which is weekly, there's something new and unique. Breweries from all over NC are represented and Dogwood always gets the newest releases. If we catch wind of a really good, hard to find beer via Untappd, the odds we find it at Dogwood are high. What makes this place special is it not only serves as a great bottle shop, but it's a super fun atmosphere to just hang out in and drink with your friends too. It's so much fun to pick out a can and kick back for a while. Nice job, Dogwood. Not to mention, the staff is super nice and that goes a long way.

This was my first time coming in here and I really liked it! The hours are great and the atmosphere was laid back and inviting. The person working was incredibly friendly and helpful, checking in and answering questions as needed. There was a good selection of beers on tap, with even at least one each of a seltzer and cider option. There were even more options to buy from, from shelves and coolers. I had seen several unique selections and left with 6 individual cans of new things to try. I am already looking forward to going back soon! I especially like the option to drink there as well as get drinks for home too.

I was going to go to Summer on Liberty but after listening to the band for a bit I left. Dogwood is also on Liberty.

If you can't find a beer you like here then you don't like beer. The panini sandwiches are great too.

    Great Pino !

My husband was assaulted inside the bar, and the people responsible left before police arrived. To make matters worse, we were told the cameras only livestream and do not record, which was incredibly frustrating because it meant there was no recorded footage available to help identify the people involved. The vibe fizzled out a bit after that, so we decided to head out. Overall, it could be fun little spot, we will check back later. If you're in the area and miss Hoots Brewery, definitely check out Bar Nola. I can only imagine how great their Mardi Gras party must be or Super Bowl day. On the other end of the building, there's a huge open space with beautiful hardwood floors and a another bar. It looks like the kind of venue where you could easily host a party with a live band--maybe they even rent it out for weddings or holiday events, though I'm not sure if it's officially part of the bar. There's also a large outdoor area with a TV and an uncovered bar, but since it was cold last night, everyone stayed inside. It seems like you can take your drinks out into the alleyway between the two buildings. Definitely a beautiful area to be when the weather is nice.
