Crepe with nutella, white chocolat, and fresh strawberries
Sasha S.

I haven't experienced a better crepe yet and I spent a few days in NYC recently trying out their top dessert places in time square. I'm not sure why this establishment doesn't get more foot traffic except for possibility the location away from the road and it's adjacent businesses, but everyone should try it. Service is always friendly and at times they are trying out new items they allow you to test them. My whole family enjoys their desserts and the cold drinks.

Everything is absolutely delish!!! This our nthhh time in this place!! This time, came here on a gloomy day! Lovely people, small and cozy place. Service is great! Must TRY and I promise, you'll come back again!!!! I'm also very happy that you can ask them to serve hot drinks in a ceramic cups rather than those to-go cups.

Another great visit to melt n bean! Tried the Dubai chocolate waffle this time and it was amazing! Service was friendly as usual and atmosphere is always inviting. Everything I've tried here is amazing! Looking forward to working my way through more of the menu on future visits.

Small place but very nice and cozy. Their desserts are delicious! During Ramadan they are open until 2 AM, which is very convenient. They also have 10% discount. Highly recommend this place.

Love this place! Cute hidden gem that my fiancé and I came across for a late date night out. It was a perfect nightcap to our evening. This place makes everything to order so your food is guaranteed to be fresh. Our food was delicious. The service was good. The employee that took our order was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. The ambiance is sweet and matches the theme of the restaurant. It's a really cute spot to try.

One of the best dessert spots I've been to in a while. Truly, everything was delicious. We got a waffle stick, crepe, iced coffee, and mojito and it was all so good. I loved the waffle stick with the fruity pebbles. The crepe had the perfect amount of Nutella and pistachio drizzle and the iced coffee was the perfect level of sweet. I so wish I lived closer so I could go in more often.

First off this place is so esthetically pleasing. It's not massively large inside but can seat several people comfortably. There isn't too much decor that clusters the space and it's so cute and pink inside! Next off the staff is so kind and did a great job of explaining to me what Turkish coffee is(that's more a morning drink. They said think really strong espresso but with a very different flavor profile) I'll try this next time and report on it. Now the star of the show.... the crepe. Omg first off the size is fantastic which makes me feel better about spending $12 lol and you get 3 toppings(pistachios are extra) my niece and I enjoyed ours with Nutella, reese and oreos let me just say it was sooo decadent and rich which I definitely enjoyed but because of the richness the coffee was much appreciated! I can't wait to go back and try more!

My friend and I stopped by looking for a sweet treat and this place caught our attention. It looked promising, and the hostess was very sweet and welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the Dubai strawberries -- they were about 90% chocolate and only 10% of the actual toppings and fruit, which wasn't what I expected. When I asked for a refund, she told me she couldn't offer one, even though I paid in cash. Overall, I'd rate this place a 4/10.

This place was so cute!!! the vibes were absolutely perfect! The crepe was amazing, light and delicious, and the pistachio espresso had just the right amount of sweetness The owner was so kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back soon!

The waffle stick was so so yummy. We got white chocolate, Reese's, Oreo, and bueno on it. The strawberry Dubai chocolate bowl was also good. All topped off with a blueberry raspberry mojito! Definitely worth a visit!!

We hadn't had coffee this way since our Greece trip in 2019 so we went to see if it was legit. As soon as we walked in we were in awe of the dessert spread that you walk past to get to the counter. The cakes looked SO moist and delicious! There were so many tantalizing flavor combos, but what stopped me in my tracks were the New York Rolls. Think giant crispy stuffed croissants! I ordered the Pistachio Cream one and no lie, it was 6 inches across and 2.5-3 inches tall. They asked if I wanted it heated (umm yes) and it was AHMAZING.i also ordered the fig and honey latte while my husband ordered the Turkish coffee. So good and unique! In fact, our visit was so good that 8 days later I chose Fig and Olive Cafe as a hang out spot for friends and I to gather for brunch. We all got the other three flavors of the New York Roll (Chocolate Hazelnut, Fig and Honey, and Biscoff Cookie) and shared them. I got the Pistachio Crème iced coffee and it was also excellent! 10/10 recommend these pastries! We had the opportunity to sit at the cafe from 9am-12:30 and we sat in cozy leather couches and enjoyed ourselves quite nicely! Staff were friendly and helpful.

I remember the vibes were pretty welcoming. I have gone once since then but during the day and the vibes were pretty chill and low-key but nothing too crazy. Just a typical experience but also a really good college outing memory. The matcha I had from there wasn't particularly my favorite but they used to keep their espresso machine up at night during the performance, I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly if they sold liquor or alcohol but the drink that I did have from there the first time I went was pretty good. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.

But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.

Though most seats were filled when I visited, it was super quiet, like a library. I felt a little uncomfortable having a conversation, afraid of bothering others. I'm not sure if it's always that quiet or not. Street parking is somewhat limited, but there is a church with a parking lot just across the street. That said, I visited on Easter, so the church lot was full, but we were still able to find a spot to parallel park at the end of the street. They serve a decent variety of coffee and other drinks, but have a limited food/pastry menu. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, which is something I order at a lot of places. Sometimes, the lavender tastes so artificial it reminds me of eating soap -- I think certain brands of syrup taste better than others. That was not the case here. I don't know what brand they use, but it must be one of the better ones, because it tasted mild and delicious. Both lavender and vanilla came through. The espresso was smooth and not bitter. The ratios of everything were great as well -- not too much oat milk but not too little -- the perfect latte.
